Quick answer
Only as a fresher-smelling everyday bottle, not as a way to make doubtful water safe. AcquaSan Pro is a 500 ml stainless steel bottle with a UV light in the cap, and UV can reduce microbes in clear water, which may keep a bottle from turning musty.

Our verdict
Only as a fresher-smelling everyday bottle, not as a way to make doubtful water safe. AcquaSan Pro is a 500 ml stainless steel bottle with a UV light in the cap, and UV can reduce microbes in clear water, which may keep a bottle from turning musty. But the page gives no UV dose, cycle time or test results, its add-on image shows a different bottle with another logo, and insulation for a product called a thermos costs extra. AcquaSan Pro scores 3.4 out of 10, held back by missing evidence.
The short version
- What it is: a 500 ml steel water bottle with a rechargeable UV-C light in the cap.
- Price: $59 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $149 flagged as the best seller.
- Best trait: a refillable bottle that can stay fresher between washes.
- Biggest drawback: no test data, mismatched images and insulation sold extra.
- Our score: 3.4 out of 10.
Pros & cons
UV bottles are a real category with some well-documented brands. The pros reflect what the idea can do. The cons are about what this listing does not prove.
What we like
- A UV light in the cap can help keep the bottle fresher and reduce odours
- 500 ml stainless steel bottle with a screw cap, per the offer page
- Rechargeable, with no filters or tablets to buy
- Several colours in the main photo
- The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number
What we don't
- No independent test data, UV dose or cycle time for this bottle
- The add-on image shows a different silver bottle with another logo
- Faster sanitising and better insulation are paid add-ons for a product sold as a thermos
- UV does not remove chemicals, metals or particles, and works poorly in cloudy water
- LARQ's better-documented UV bottle costs more, but similar generic UV bottles sell for less
- Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works
AcquaSan Pro is a slim, insulated-looking steel bottle with a cap that contains a small UV-C LED and a battery. Press the cap and the LED shines down into the water for a set time. UV-C light can damage the genetic material of bacteria and viruses so they cannot multiply. It works on what the light reaches, so clear water and a clean bottle matter.

Fill with clear water
Step 1: Fill the bottle with clear tap or filtered water and screw the cap on.
Run a UV cycle
Step 2: Press the button on the cap to switch on the UV light, which shines into the water and bottle for a set time.
Charge the cap
Step 3: Charge the cap's battery by USB when it runs low, and wash the bottle regularly.
The page title calls it a "smart water sanitizer bottle", "portable water thermos", "UV water thermos", "water sterilizer thermos", "electronic water thermos" and "smart water thermos with UV sterilization". The six bullets promise UV sterilisation, "antibacterial stainless steel interiors", an anti-spill sport screw cap, 500 ml capacity, long-life materials and a rechargeable battery.
Two different bottles
The main photo shows slim bottles in black, red and pink. The fast sanitising add-on image shows a silver bottle with a different logo, a "kills up to 99.9% of bacteria" badge and a purple-lit interior.
What the page leaves out
There is no UV wavelength, cycle time, battery life, insulation hours or test report.
Who it's for
AcquaSan Pro suits people who refill a bottle with tap water and want it to stay fresher, gym-goers whose bottles get musty, and travellers with access to clear treated water. It is not for making untreated water safe or removing chemicals. Our iWater Deluxe review covers a water gadget from the same checkout.
- People who refill a bottle with tap water and want it to stay fresher-smelling
- Gym-goers whose bottles get musty
- Travellers with access to clear treated water who want an extra step
Daily refillers
A UV cycle between refills may reduce odour build-up.
Gym bags
Bottles left in warm bags grow smells. UV may help between washes.
Who should skip it
Skip AcquaSan Pro if you plan to rely on it for stream, lake or well water, if you want to remove chemicals, lead or microplastics, or if you want a known brand with test data.
- Anyone relying on it to make untreated stream, lake or well water safe
- People wanting to remove chemicals, lead or microplastics, which UV cannot do
- Buyers who want test data and a known brand
Can AcquaSan Pro really sterilise your water?
UV can disinfect clear water when the dose is right, but this bottle gives no evidence of its dose or results. The CDC says portable UV units can disinfect small amounts of clear water if the power and contact time are correct, notes that cloudy water shields germs from the light, and points out a lack of independent testing for many systems. Boiling remains the most reliable option.
What the CDC says
The CDC's guide to backcountry and travel water treatment describes UV as effective against bacteria, viruses and protozoa in clear water, with limits for cloudy water and dependence on correct use.
What this means for you: for doubtful water, boil it or use a proven filter and disinfection method.
"Antibacterial stainless steel interiors"
Stainless steel is easy to clean. It is not itself antibacterial in any meaningful way, so wash the bottle regularly.
Chemicals and particles
UV does nothing for lead, pesticides, chlorine taste, sediment or microplastics. A suitable filter is needed for those.
The 99.9% badge
The add-on image's "kills up to 99.9% of bacteria" badge comes with no test conditions and appears on a different bottle.
How much does AcquaSan Pro cost, and are the add-ons needed?
On 6 October 2026, one AcquaSan Pro cost $59, with the five-pack at $149 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered faster sanitising for $6, advanced thermal insulation for $12, a car USB charger for $4 and a 3-year warranty for $9. LARQ's better-documented 500 ml UV bottle sells for around $99.
AcquaSan Pro price and bundles

| 1 AcquaSan Pro | $59 | $59.00 |
| 2 AcquaSan Pro | $89 | $44.50 |
| 3 (buy 2, get 1 free) | $109 | $36.33 |
| 4 AcquaSan Pro | $129 | $32.25 |
| 5 (buy 3, get 2 free), best seller | $149 | $29.80 |
Prices are in US dollars as listed on 6 October 2026. You can check today's packages on the AcquaSan Pro order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab).
Fast sanitizing
For $6, a "new technology UV light generator with faster sanitizing times". The image is of a different bottle. Ask what the standard cycle time is.

Advanced thermal insulation
For $12, "an additional special layer for holding the hot beverages". The image is a stock photo of a woman holding a glass of tea. For a product called a thermos, insulation should be standard.

Car charger and warranty
A $4 car USB charger could charge the cap on the road. The 3-year warranty costs $9, reasonable for a battery cap.
Who sells it
The order page names G Com Pte Ltd at 137 Market Street in Singapore, with the email support@g63com.com and a phone number. The footer gives the country as Hong Kong. The page code says charges appear on your card statement as Matrixfze.

Is AcquaSan Pro better than a LARQ bottle or a filter bottle?
It is cheaper than LARQ, but LARQ publishes its UV claims and has been reviewed independently. A filter bottle removes particles and some chemicals, which UV cannot. For most people with safe tap water, a plain steel bottle washed regularly does the job.
| Option | Kills microbes | Removes chemicals | Evidence | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AcquaSan Pro | Claimed | No | None shown | $59 |
| LARQ PureVis 500 ml | Yes, per maker | No | Published claims, reviews | About $99 |
| Filter bottle | Some filters | Some | Varies by model | Varies |
| Plain steel bottle | No | No | n/a | Low |
AcquaSan Pro vs LARQ
Popular Science's LARQ PureVis review found it easy to use with a noticeable effect on taste, at a high price. For people who want a documented UV bottle, that is where a rival wins.
AcquaSan Pro vs a filter bottle
Filters remove sediment and some chemicals. Combined filter and UV bottles exist for travellers.

Is AcquaSan Pro legit, and what should you check before buying?
AcquaSan Pro is a real product from a named seller, and a bottle should arrive if you order. Before buying, ask which bottle ships, the UV cycle time and test data, and whether it is insulated, switch from the five-pack and note the card statement name.
Ask which bottle ships
What to do: email support@g63com.com and ask which bottle design ships, the UV wavelength and cycle time, any test reports, and how long it keeps drinks hot or cold. Keep the reply.
Check the selected bundle
The five-pack for $149 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one bottle.
Card statement name and memberships
The charge appears as Matrixfze. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.
Refunds and returns
The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost.
How to buy AcquaSan Pro the smart way
- Ask support which bottle ships and for test data.
- Open the AcquaSan Pro order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and select your country.
- Change the five-pack to one bottle.
- Add insulation only if the standard version is not insulated; skip the car charger.
- Note the card statement name, Matrixfze.
How did we score AcquaSan Pro?
AcquaSan Pro scores 3.4 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.5, build durability 0.9, price competitiveness 0.6, usability 1.0 and owner satisfaction 0.4, each out of 2. UV caps are a real technology, and the bottle is simple to use. The score falls on no test data, mismatched images, "sterilizer" and "antibacterial" claims, insulation sold extra for a thermos and no specs.
How the score breaks down
We use the five criteria on our how we test page, each out of 2.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Claim accuracy | 0.5 / 2 | Sterilising claims without data; images mismatch |
| Build durability | 0.9 / 2 | Steel bottle; electronic cap unknown |
| Price competitiveness | 0.6 / 2 | Cheaper than LARQ but undocumented |
| Usability | 1.0 / 2 | Press to clean; specs unknown |
| Owner satisfaction | 0.4 / 2 | No independent ratings for this listing |
| Total | 3.4 / 10 |
What owners say
We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for AcquaSan Pro by that name. Owners of similar generic UV bottles on large retail sites tend to like fresher-tasting water, and complain about caps that stop charging, leaks around the lid and a faint plastic or ozone smell.
What we did, and did not, do
Nobody on our team has used AcquaSan Pro. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with CDC water treatment guidance, a LARQ review and the pages that rank for AcquaSan Pro. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.
How to use AcquaSan Pro sensibly
Fill it with clear, safe water, run a UV cycle after each refill, and still wash the bottle with warm soapy water every few days. Keep the cap charged, avoid sugary or cloudy drinks if you rely on UV, and use proper treatment for any water you are not sure about.
- Start with clear water. Tap or filtered.
- Run a cycle after refilling. Cap screwed on.
- Wash every few days. Bottle and cap seal.
- Keep the cap dry when charging. Water and USB do not mix.
- Avoid cloudy drinks. UV cannot reach through.
- Do not rely on it for doubtful water. Boil or filter.
- Recharge regularly. A flat cap does nothing.
Hot drinks
Ask the seller whether hot drinks are safe for the cap's electronics.
Travel
Carry it empty through airport security, then fill after.

What else do people ask about UV water bottles?
Most questions are about taste, dishwashers and whether UV damages the bottle. Some people notice fresher taste, electronic caps are not dishwasher safe, and UV-C does not harm stainless steel. Browse our kitchen reviews for more.
Does it change the taste?
Some users report fresher taste. It will not remove chlorine taste.
Can I put it in the dishwasher?
Not the cap. The steel body may be hand-wash only; ask the seller.
Is UV light safe?
Avoid looking directly at the light. It shines into the bottle.
Does it work on coffee?
Coffee is opaque. UV works on clear water.
Frequently asked questions
Does AcquaSan Pro make water safe to drink?
It may reduce bacteria in clear water, but the page gives no test data. The CDC says portable UV can disinfect small amounts of clear water when the dose, power and contact time are right, and that cloudy water reduces its effect. Boiling remains the most reliable method.
How much does AcquaSan Pro cost?
On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one AcquaSan Pro for $59, two for $89, three (two plus one free) for $109, four for $129 and five (three plus two free) for $149, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. Faster sanitising cost $6, better insulation $12 and a 3-year warranty $9.
Does UV remove chemicals or lead?
No. UV light can inactivate microbes, but it does not remove chemicals, metals, sediment or microplastics. You need a suitable filter for those.
Is it a thermos?
The title calls it a thermos, but the checkout sells 'advanced thermal insulation' as a $12 add-on to keep drinks hot for longer. Ask the seller how long the standard version keeps drinks hot or cold.
Can I put hot drinks or juice in it?
The page does not say. UV works best in clear water. Coloured or cloudy drinks block light, and heat may affect the cap's electronics.
How does it compare with LARQ?
LARQ's PureVis bottle is a better-known UV bottle with published claims and independent reviews, starting around $99 for 500 ml. AcquaSan Pro is cheaper but gives no test data.
Is AcquaSan Pro legit?
It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are no test data, mismatched product images, insulation sold extra and return postage at your cost.
We may earn a commission if you buy through our links.
