EllaPen Review: A $29 Forked-Tip Brow Pen That Will Not Let You Choose a Shade

A single four-tip brow pen that draws hair-like strokes. The tip style works, but the order page offers no shade choice, no ingredient list, and the add-on photo shows a Suake pen.

Single 4-tip brow pen

Quick answer

Not until the seller tells you which shade you will get. EllaPen is a single forked-tip brow pen that draws four fine, hair-like strokes at a time, and at $29 it is a cheap way to try the style.

Our verdict

Not until the seller tells you which shade you will get. EllaPen is a single forked-tip brow pen that draws four fine, hair-like strokes at a time, and at $29 it is a cheap way to try the style. But the order page offers no shade choice and names no colour, which matters more than anything for a brow product. It also lists no ingredients, its 12-hour waterproof claims are untested, and the add-on photo shows a Suake pen. EllaPen scores 3.8 out of 10, held back by the missing shade choice.

The short version

  • What it is: one liquid brow pen with a four-pronged tip for hair-like strokes.
  • Price: $29 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $89 flagged as the best seller.
  • Best trait: the feathered forked-tip look at a low entry price.
  • Biggest drawback: no way to choose a shade on the order page.
  • Our score: 3.8 out of 10.

Pros & cons

A single forked-tip pen is a sensible, low-cost way to try this brow technique. The biggest con is basic: you cannot pick your colour. The rest are about missing information.

What we like

  • Four-pronged tip draws fine, hair-like strokes
  • Cheaper entry point than a four-pen set at $29
  • Quick to apply compared with a fine pencil
  • Liquid tint can last longer than powder for many people
  • The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number

What we don't

  • The order page has no shade option, so you cannot pick a colour to match your brows
  • No ingredient list or safety details for a product used near the eyes
  • 'Twelve hours' and 'waterproof and sweat proof' are untested on the page
  • The add-on photo shows a pen branded Suake
  • 'Extra juice' and finer tips are sold as add-ons
  • Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works

EllaPen holds liquid tint that feeds a felt tip split into four prongs. Lightly pressing and flicking upwards draws four thin lines at once, mimicking a cluster of brow hairs. You build up strokes to fill gaps. The tint dries on the skin and lasts until you remove it.

Four black brow pens with four-pronged tips each drawing four fine lines, beside four photos of filled-in eyebrows
The forked tips and the brow look they aim for. Image: EllaPen
  1. Prepare your brows

Step 1: Brush brows into shape and make sure the skin is clean and dry so the tint grips.

  2. Flick in the direction of growth

Step 2: Press lightly and flick upwards. The four-pronged tip draws four fine strokes at once that look like brow hairs.

  3. Let it dry

Step 3: Give the tint a minute to set before touching. Remove it at night with a cleanser or make-up remover.

The page has the same title and bullets as Eyebrow Master on the same checkout: "eyebrows contouring pen, waterproof, 4 fork style tips, tattoo like tint", promising an end to thin brows, indistinguishable lines, twelve hours of wear, soft brushes, four forked tips and waterproof, sweat-proof tint. It gives no shade, ingredients, volume or test.

No shade to choose

The order data for EllaPen has no colour or shade option. The images show black pens, a red-brown Suake pen and swatches in four colours. Brow shades range from blonde to black, and the wrong shade is the most common reason brow make-up looks unnatural.

What to do: email support@g63com.com before ordering and ask which shade ships and whether you can choose.

The same pen as Eyebrow Master

Our Eyebrow Master review covers a set of four forked-tip pens from the same checkout with identical wording. EllaPen appears to be one of those pens sold on its own.

Who it's for

EllaPen suits someone who wants to try a forked-tip brow pen cheaply and can confirm the shade with the seller first. It does not suit anyone with a specific colour need or sensitive skin who wants ingredients upfront.

  • People who want to try a forked-tip brow pen cheaply
  • Buyers who can confirm the shade with the seller before ordering
  • Anyone happy to patch test a product without an ingredient list

First-time brow pen users

At $29, it is a low-cost way to see whether hair-like strokes suit your brows, if the shade is right.

People with dark brows

If the pen turns out to be dark brown or black, it suits darker brows. Lighter brows need a lighter shade.

People with light or red brows

A dark pen on light brows looks harsh. Confirm the shade or choose a pen with a named light shade.

Who should skip it

Skip EllaPen if you need a specific shade, have sensitive skin and want ingredients first, or want a known brand with returns.

  • Anyone who needs a specific shade, since none can be chosen on the page
  • People with sensitive skin who want ingredients first
  • Buyers who want a known brand with shade names and local returns

Why does shade choice matter so much for a brow pen?

Because the wrong shade is what makes brows look drawn on. Brow make-up usually works best one or two shades lighter than your hair, and warm or cool undertones matter too. The EllaPen order page offers no shade at all. The add-on swatch image shows four very different shades, from light brown to dark grey, so the pen you receive could be any of them.

Matching undertone

Warm, red-brown shades suit warm hair colours; ash and grey-brown shades suit cool or greying hair. The red-brown Suake pen in the add-on image would look very different from a grey one on the same brows.

Lighter is safer

If unsure, a shade slightly lighter than your hair is easier to build up than a dark one is to tone down.

Changing shade later

With a single pen and no choice, a wrong shade means buying again elsewhere. The four-pen Eyebrow Master set at least gives options.

What is in EllaPen, and how long does it last?

The page lists no ingredients and gives no test for its 12-hour waterproof claim. The FDA says colour additives may only be used in the area of the eye, including the eyebrows, when their regulation allows that use, so an ingredient list matters for a brow product. Wear time depends on skin oil, sweat and touching; expect to touch up.

The FDA on eye-area colour additives

The FDA's page on colour additives and cosmetics explains that the eyebrows are part of the "area of the eye", where colour additives can only be used if their regulation permits it.

What to do: ask for the ingredient list and patch test behind your ear or on your inner arm for 24 to 48 hours.

Wear time

Liquid tints often outlast powders. Oily skin, sweat and rubbing shorten wear. A clear brow gel on top helps.

Pen life

The page does not say how long a pen lasts. Felt-tip pens can dry out, especially if not capped well. The $8 "extra juice" add-on promises more tint; its image shows a Suake pen drawing a line.

How much does EllaPen cost, and what do the add-ons add?

On 6 October 2026, one EllaPen cost $29, with the five-pack at $89 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered a tattoo tint upgrade for $4, extra juice for $8, extra-fine tips for $3 and a 3-year warranty for $9. With no shade choice, buying five is a gamble.

Prices are in US dollars as listed on 6 October 2026. Buy one at most until you know the shade suits you. You can check today's packages on the EllaPen order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab).

The add-ons

Tattoo tint ($4) promises longer wear with no detail. Extra juice ($8) promises more tint. Extra-fine tips ($3) promise thinner lines.

Warranty

The 3-year warranty costs $9, on a pen that will dry out long before then.

The "regular price"

Add-ons are shown against crossed-out prices, with a countdown timer on the page. We found no evidence that EllaPen sells at a higher regular price. Forked-tip pens like this are sold widely.

Who sells it

The order page names G Com Pte Ltd at 137 Market Street in Singapore, with the email support@g63com.com and a phone number. The footer gives the country as Hong Kong. The page code says charges appear on your card statement as Matrixfze, written in capitals.

Is EllaPen better than Eyebrow Master or a brand-name brow pen?

If you need a particular shade, a brand-name forked-tip pen with a named colour is better. Eyebrow Master gives four shades for $49, so you can find a match. EllaPen is cheaper but gives no choice. Known brands list shades and ingredients and offer local returns.

EllaPen vs Eyebrow Master

Our Eyebrow Master review found the same pen style sold as a four-shade set. If you are unsure of your shade, the set is the safer buy of the two.

EllaPen vs a brand-name pen

A pen with a named shade from a known brand removes the guesswork. That is the clearest case where a rival wins.

Is EllaPen legit, and what should you check before buying?

EllaPen is a real product from a named seller, and a pen should arrive if you order. Before buying, ask which shade you will receive and whether you can choose, ask for ingredients, buy one pen only and patch test before use.

Confirm the shade

What to do: email support@g63com.com and ask which shade ships and whether you can request one. Keep the reply.

Ask for ingredients

What to do: ask for the ingredient list and patch test on arrival.

Check the selected bundle

The five-pack for $89 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one pen.

Card statement name and memberships

The charge appears as Matrixfze. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.

Refunds and returns

The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost. A pen in the wrong shade is not defective, and opened make-up is often not returnable.

How to buy EllaPen the smart way

  1. Confirm the shade with support.
  2. Ask for the ingredient list.
  3. Open the EllaPen order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and select your country.
  4. Change the five-pack to one pen.
  5. Skip the add-ons and warranty.
  6. Patch test before first use.

How did we score EllaPen?

EllaPen scores 3.8 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.6, build durability 1.0, price competitiveness 0.8, usability 0.9 and owner satisfaction 0.5, each out of 2. The forked-tip technique works and the price is low. The score falls on no shade choice, no ingredients, untested wear claims, another brand's pen in the add-on image and no independent ratings.

How the score breaks down

We use the five criteria on our how we test page, each out of 2.

What owners say

We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for EllaPen by that name. Owners of similar forked-tip pens on large retail sites like the natural strokes and complain about shades that look warmer than expected, pens drying out and fraying tips.

What we did, and did not, do

Nobody on our team has used EllaPen. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, including the order data, which has no shade option, along with the FDA's page on colour additives and the pages that rank for EllaPen. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.

How to use EllaPen for natural-looking brows

Patch test, check the shade against your hair in daylight, use light upward flicks starting mid-brow and keep the front softest. If the shade is too dark, use fewer strokes and blend with a spoolie, or switch to a pen in a better shade.

  1. Patch test. 24 to 48 hours first.
  2. Check the shade in daylight. Against your brow hair.
  3. Brush brows up. Find the gaps.
  4. Start mid-brow. Light, short flicks.
  5. Soften the front. Fewer strokes near the nose.
  6. Blend with a spoolie. Especially if the shade is dark.
  7. Set with clear gel. For longer wear.

If the shade is too dark

Draw fewer strokes and brush through immediately to soften. A brow gel in a lighter tint over the top can lift the colour.

Keeping it fresh

Cap tightly and store it as the instructions say. Replace it if it smells or dries out.

Removing it

Use an oil-based remover and pat gently.

What else do people ask about single brow pens?

Most questions are about choosing shades, how long pens last and whether they suit grey brows. Choose one or two shades lighter than your hair, expect pens to last weeks to months, and use ash or grey shades for grey brows. EllaPen's page does not let you choose, which is the key problem.

How do I choose a brow shade?

Match the lightest part of your brow hair, or go a shade lighter than your head hair.

Can I use a brow pen on grey brows?

Yes, with a cool ash or grey shade. A warm brown can look orange on grey hair.

Can I mix two pens?

Yes. Many people use a lighter shade at the front and a darker one at the tail.

Do brow pens stain skin?

Most wash off. Some tints leave a faint mark that fades within a day.

Frequently asked questions

What shade is EllaPen?

The order page offers no shade option and does not name one. The images show black pens, a red-brown Suake pen and swatches in four shades. Email the seller to ask which shade you will receive, and whether you can choose, before ordering.

Is EllaPen the same as Eyebrow Master?

They share the same title and feature bullets on the same checkout. Eyebrow Master is a set of four shades for $49; EllaPen is one pen for $29. If shade choice matters, the set at least gives you four to try.

How much does EllaPen cost?

On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one EllaPen for $29, two for $49, three (two plus one free) for $69, four for $79 and five (three plus two free) for $89, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. Extra tint cost $8, tattoo tint $4 and finer tips $3.

How long does it last on the brows?

The page claims twelve hours and waterproof, sweat-proof wear without a test. Oily skin, rubbing and swimming shorten wear for any brow product. Expect to touch it up.

Is it safe to use near the eyes?

The page lists no ingredients. The FDA says colour additives may only be used in the area of the eye, which includes the eyebrows, if their regulation allows that use. Ask for the ingredient list and patch test first.

How long does one pen last?

The page does not say. Liquid pens can dry out within weeks to months once opened, depending on use and how well they are capped. The $8 'extra juice' add-on promises more tint.

Is EllaPen legit?

It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are no shade choice, no ingredients, untested wear claims, another brand's pen in the add-on image and return postage at your cost.

We may earn a commission if you buy through our links.
