Vibrating silicone cleansing brush

Quick answer

Pleasant, but not something your skin needs. SootheSkin Pro is a soft silicone face brush that vibrates, with a smooth metal tip for massage, and some people enjoy using one with their cleanser.

Our verdict

Pleasant, but not something your skin needs. SootheSkin Pro is a soft silicone face brush that vibrates, with a smooth metal tip for massage, and some people enjoy using one with their cleanser. But dermatologists at the AAD recommend washing with fingertips and warn that scrubbing irritates skin, the "ultrasonic" label does not fit a brush like this, and the page says it suits everyone with no contraindications. A rechargeable battery and heat cost extra. SootheSkin Pro scores 3.5 out of 10, held back by its claims and add-ons.

The short version

  • What it is: a vibrating silicone cleansing brush with a metal massage tip.
  • Price: $49 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $135 flagged as the best seller.
  • Best trait: soft silicone that is easy to keep clean, with no heads to replace.
  • Biggest drawback: overstated claims and a rechargeable battery sold as an add-on.
  • Our score: 3.5 out of 10.

Pros & cons

Silicone face brushes are popular, and they are gentler than old-style spinning nylon brushes. The pros reflect that. The cons are about the claims, skin types and what the base price includes.

What we like

  • Soft silicone bristles are gentler and easier to clean than nylon brush heads
  • Several vibration intensities, per the offer page
  • A smooth back and metal tip for massage and applying skincare
  • No replacement brush heads to buy
  • The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number

What we don't

  • Called 'ultrasonic', though silicone brushes like this vibrate at far lower, sonic frequencies
  • The AAD advises washing your face with fingertips and says scrubbing irritates skin
  • A rechargeable battery is a $4 add-on, and heat is $9 more
  • 'Suitable to everyone, no contraindications' ignores sensitive, acne-prone and rosacea skin
  • 'Help pores relax' rests on the myth that pores open and close
  • Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works

SootheSkin Pro is an oval silicone pad covered in short, soft nubs, with buttons for power and intensity and a polished metal tip at the base. A small motor inside makes it vibrate. You glide it over wet skin with cleanser; the vibrating nubs help spread the cleanser and loosen makeup. The ridged back and metal tip are for massage or pressing in skincare.

  1. Wet your face and add cleanser

Step 1: Wet your skin with lukewarm water and apply a gentle cleanser with your fingers or onto the brush.

  2. Switch on and glide

Step 2: Turn the brush on at the lowest setting and move it in small circles over the face for about a minute, without pressing.

  3. Rinse and pat dry

Step 3: Rinse your face and the brush, pat your skin dry and moisturise. Use the metal tip to massage in eye cream if you like.

The page title calls it "ultrasonic skin care", a "facial cleansing massage", a "cosmetic products absorbing helper", a "multi-functional facial washing brush" and an "ultrasonic facial cleansing and washing brush". The six bullets promise "efficient deep cleaning with ultrasonic vibrations", an ergonomic size, even application of cosmetics, "food grade brush for all skins compatibility", several intensities and suitability "to everyone, no contraindications".

Sonic versus ultrasonic

Ultrasonic devices vibrate faster than humans can hear, above 20,000 times a second, as in some dental and skin-spatula tools. Silicone face brushes usually vibrate far slower. The page gives no frequency.

What the page leaves out

There is no battery type, charging method, water rating or vibration figure. The $4 "built-in battery option" suggests the standard version may not be rechargeable.

Who it's for

SootheSkin Pro suits people who enjoy a vibrating cleanse and massage, and those who wear heavy makeup or sunscreen and want help removing it. It does not suit people with acne, rosacea, eczema or very sensitive skin without advice, or anyone happy with fingertip washing. Our SkinBeautify Pro review covers a heated eye wand from the same checkout.

  • People who enjoy a gentle vibrating cleanse and massage
  • Anyone who wears heavy makeup or sunscreen and wants help removing it
  • People who want a brush without replaceable heads

Makeup wearers

A soft brush can help lift long-wear makeup and sunscreen with your usual cleanser.

Oily skin

Some people with oily skin like the cleaner feel. Use it gently and not every wash.

Massage fans

The vibrating back and metal tip offer a quick facial massage.

Who should skip it

Skip SootheSkin Pro if you have acne, rosacea, eczema or very sensitive skin, unless a dermatologist agrees, or if your skin is happy with fingertip washing.

  • People with acne, rosacea, eczema or very sensitive skin, without advice
  • Anyone who already gets good results washing with fingertips
  • Buyers expecting deep pore cleaning or 'ultrasonic' technology

Does a vibrating face brush like SootheSkin Pro clean better than your hands?

Not necessarily, and dermatologists generally prefer fingertips. The American Academy of Dermatology advises washing with fingertips and a gentle cleanser, warning that a washcloth, mesh sponge or anything else can irritate skin, and that scrubbing irritates skin. A soft silicone brush used lightly is gentler than those, but "deep cleaning" adds little for most people.

What the AAD advises

The AAD's face washing 101 guide recommends lukewarm water, a gentle non-abrasive cleanser applied with fingertips, no scrubbing, patting dry and moisturising, and washing twice a day and after sweating.

What this means for you: if you use the brush, use it gently, at the lowest setting, and not twice a day.

"Help pores relax"

Pores do not open, close or relax. Warmth can soften oil, which is why skin feels cleaner after a warm wash.

"Suitable to everyone, no contraindications"

Brushes can aggravate acne, rosacea, eczema and very sensitive or sunburned skin, and people using retinoids or acids may find them irritating.

What to do: patch test on the jawline for a few days before using it all over.

"Cosmetic products absorbing helper"

Massaging products in can help spread them evenly. It does not make skin absorb more of an ingredient in any meaningful way.

How much does SootheSkin Pro cost, and are the add-ons needed?

On 6 October 2026, one SootheSkin Pro cost $49, with the five-pack at $135 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered a rechargeable battery for $4, heat therapy for $9, a USB car adapter for $4 and a 3-year warranty for $9. A rechargeable, heated version costs $62.

Is SootheSkin Pro better than fingertips or a branded silicone brush?

For most skin, your fingertips are the dermatologist-recommended tool, and they are free. If you want a silicone brush, branded models state their battery life, water resistance and vibration settings and come with warranties. SootheSkin Pro's base price leaves out a rechargeable battery.

SootheSkin Pro vs fingertips

The AAD recommends fingertips because they are the least irritating. That is the clearest case where the alternative wins.

SootheSkin Pro vs a branded brush

Branded silicone brushes publish battery life and waterproofing and often last years on a charge cycle. Price varies widely.

Is SootheSkin Pro legit, and what should you check before buying?

SootheSkin Pro is a real product from a named seller, and a brush should arrive if you order. Before buying, ask how the standard version is powered and whether it is waterproof, switch from the five-pack, add the battery if needed and note the card statement name.

Ask about power and water

What to do: email support@g63com.com and ask whether the standard brush is rechargeable, its battery life and water rating. Keep the reply.

Check the selected bundle

The five-pack for $135 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one brush.

Card statement name and memberships

The charge appears as panameedia. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.

Refunds and returns

The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost. Used beauty devices may not be returnable for hygiene reasons.

What owners say

We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for SootheSkin Pro by that name. Owners of similar silicone face brushes on large retail sites tend to like the soft feel and easy cleaning, and complain about weak vibration, charging ports that let water in and redness when used too often.

What we did, and did not, do

Nobody on our team has used SootheSkin Pro. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with the AAD's face washing guidance and the pages that rank for SootheSkin Pro. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.

How to use SootheSkin Pro gently

Wet your face with lukewarm water, apply a gentle cleanser, and glide the brush in small circles on the lowest setting for about a minute without pressing. Rinse, pat dry and moisturise. Use it once a day at most, skip irritated areas, and clean and dry the brush after each use.

  1. Patch test first. A few days on the jawline.
  2. Lukewarm water, gentle cleanser. No scrubs.
  3. Lowest setting. Increase only if needed.
  4. Small circles, no pressure. About a minute.
  5. Avoid the eye area. Use the metal tip there gently.
  6. Pat dry and moisturise. Every time.
  7. Clean and dry the brush. Rinse, then air dry.

If your skin reacts

Stop for a week and go back to fingertips. Persistent redness or breakouts are worth a dermatologist's opinion.

Shared use

Do not share face brushes. Silicone is easy to clean, but skin bacteria differ between people.

What else do people ask about silicone face brushes?

Most questions are about acne, exfoliation and daily use. Brushes can aggravate acne, silicone is not much of an exfoliant, and daily use is too much for many people. Browse our beauty gadget reviews for other options.

Does it help acne?

It may irritate active acne. Ask a dermatologist before using one.

Is it an exfoliator?

Silicone nubs are mild. Do not use it alongside strong acids or retinoids at first.

Can I use it in the shower?

The page gives no water rating. Keep it out of the shower until the seller confirms.

Can men use it on a beard?

Silicone nubs can catch in stubble. Use it above the beard line.

Frequently asked questions

Is SootheSkin Pro really ultrasonic?

Unlikely. Ultrasonic means above the range of human hearing, over 20,000 vibrations per second. Silicone face brushes like this one typically vibrate at much lower, sonic frequencies. The page gives no frequency.

How much does SootheSkin Pro cost?

On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one SootheSkin Pro for $49, two for $69, three (two plus one free) for $98, four for $123 and five (three plus two free) for $135, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. A rechargeable battery cost $4, heat $9 and a 3-year warranty $9.

Do dermatologists recommend face brushes?

The American Academy of Dermatology advises washing your face with your fingertips, saying a washcloth, mesh sponge or anything else can irritate skin, and that scrubbing irritates skin. Some people with oily skin like soft silicone brushes used gently.

Does it open pores?

No. Pores do not open and close. Warmth can soften oil and make skin feel cleaner, but the 'help pores relax' claim is marketing language.

Is the battery included?

The checkout sells a 'built-in battery option' for $4 to make it rechargeable. The page does not say how the standard version is powered. Ask support before ordering.

How often should I use it?

Once a day at most, on the lowest setting, for about a minute. If your skin becomes red, tight or flaky, cut back or go back to fingertips.

Is SootheSkin Pro legit?

It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are the 'ultrasonic' label, 'no contraindications' wording, battery and heat sold extra and return postage at your cost.
