FrostyJoy Review: A $139 Frozen-Fruit Soft-Serve Maker That Looks Like a Yonanas

A chute machine that turns frozen bananas and fruit into soft-serve. The idea works, but 200 W power is a paid upgrade, and the Yonanas it resembles has been listed for about $50.

Frozen-fruit soft-serve maker

Quick answer

The idea is good; the price is not. FrostyJoy pushes frozen bananas and fruit past a spinning cone blade to make a soft-serve dessert with no dairy or added sugar, and that genuinely works.

Our verdict

The idea is good; the price is not. FrostyJoy pushes frozen bananas and fruit past a spinning cone blade to make a soft-serve dessert with no dairy or added sugar, and that genuinely works. But the machine closely resembles the Yonanas Classic, which US retailers listed at about $50 with 200 watts; here you pay $139 and then $7 more for "the powerful 200W version". "Sugar-free" is also misleading, because fruit has natural sugar. FrostyJoy scores 2.9 out of 10, held back by price.

The short version

  • What it is: a frozen-fruit soft-serve maker with a push-down chute.
  • Price: $139 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $449 flagged as the best seller.
  • Best trait: a quick fruit-only dessert with a soft-serve texture.
  • Biggest drawback: nearly three times the price of the similar Yonanas.
  • Our score: 2.9 out of 10.

Pros & cons

The pros reflect a simple, proven gadget. The cons reflect this listing's price, upgrades and wording.

What we like

  • Turns frozen bananas and fruit into soft-serve in seconds
  • You control the ingredients, with no dairy or added sugar needed
  • Simple push-down chute with no churning or freezing bowl
  • The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number

What we don't

  • At $139, it costs nearly three times the Yonanas Classic it closely resembles
  • The 200 W version is a $7 upgrade; the Yonanas Classic is listed at 200 W as standard
  • "Sugar-free" is misleading: fruit contains natural sugars
  • It is a frozen-fruit grinder, not an ice cream maker for custard or dairy bases
  • Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works

FrostyJoy is not an ice cream maker in the usual sense: it does not churn or freeze anything. You freeze ripe fruit beforehand, let it soften for a few minutes, then push it down the black chute with a plunger. A spinning, serrated cone at the bottom shaves and presses the frozen fruit into a smooth, soft-serve texture that comes out of the front.

The machine as shown on the offer page. Image: FrostyJoy
  1. Freeze ripe fruit

Step 1: Peel and freeze very ripe bananas and other fruit for at least a day.

  2. Thaw slightly and feed

Step 2: Let the fruit soften for a few minutes, switch on, and push it down the chute with the plunger.

  3. Serve straight away

Step 3: Soft-serve comes out of the front; eat it at once or refreeze briefly.

The page title calls it a "DIY Ice Cream Maker Machine", "Fruity Ice Cream Maker Machine", "Sugar-Free Ice Cream Maker" and "Diary-Free Ice Cream Maker", under "Healthy Ice Cream Maker Machine". The six bullets promise instant DIY ice cream, healthy fruit dessert, control over ingredients, "dairy and sugar-free using natural fruits", hundreds of flavours and "Top Rated Product For Ease of Use".

What the page leaves out

Standard wattage, dimensions, which parts are dishwasher safe, included recipes and where "top rated" comes from.

A familiar machine

The silver base, black chute and green start button match the Yonanas Classic, a frozen-fruit dessert maker sold by major US retailers.

Who it's for

FrostyJoy suits families wanting a quick fruit dessert, people avoiding dairy, and anyone with overripe bananas. It also cross-sells the battery stirrer from our AutoMix review at checkout.

  • Families who want a quick fruit-only dessert
  • People avoiding dairy who like soft-serve texture
  • Anyone with overripe bananas to use up

Families

Children can help push fruit down the chute, with supervision.

Dairy-free households

Fruit-only soft-serve needs no milk or cream.

Banana savers

Freeze overripe bananas instead of throwing them away.

Who should skip it

Skip FrostyJoy if you want a churning ice cream maker for custard or dairy bases, can buy a similar machine for much less, or need a genuinely low-sugar dessert.

  • Anyone wanting a true ice cream maker for custard or dairy bases
  • Buyers who can find the original-style machine for much less
  • People who need a very low-sugar dessert

Is FrostyJoy's "healthy, sugar-free ice cream" claim accurate?

"No added sugar" is fair; "sugar-free" is not. The dessert is only as healthy as the fruit you put in, and fruit contains natural sugars. Bananas, the usual base for creaminess, are among the sweeter fruits. A bowl of banana soft-serve is a good alternative to ice cream, but people counting sugar should still count it.

What a banana contains

USDA's FoodData Central entry for raw bananas lists about 12.2 grams of sugars and 89 calories per 100 grams, along with 2.6 grams of fibre.

What this means for you: treat it as a fruit dessert, not a sugar-free one.

"Total Control Over The Ingredients"

True, and a real advantage. Add nuts, cocoa or yoghurt afterwards if you like.

"Top Rated Product For Ease of Use"

The page names no rating source.

Is FrostyJoy better than a Yonanas, a blender or a food processor?

No. The Yonanas Classic does the same job, is listed at 200 watts as standard and has been sold by major US retailers for about $50. A high-powered blender or food processor can also turn frozen bananas into "nice cream", with a little patience and scraping, and does many other jobs.

Is FrostyJoy legit, and what should you check before buying?

FrostyJoy is a real machine from a named seller, and it should arrive if you order. Before buying, compare it with a Yonanas, ask for the standard wattage and plug type, switch from the five-pack and note the card statement name.

Ask for specs

What to do: email support@g63com.com for the standard wattage, voltage, plug type and dishwasher-safe parts. Keep the reply.

Check the selected bundle

The five-pack for $449 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one machine.

Card statement name and memberships

The charge appears as panameedia. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.

Refunds and returns

The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost.

How to buy FrostyJoy the smart way

  1. Compare the price with a Yonanas Classic.
  2. Open the FrostyJoy order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and select your country.
  3. Change the five-pack to one machine.
  4. Add the 200 W upgrade; skip the car adapter.
  5. Note the card statement name, panameedia.

How did we score FrostyJoy?

FrostyJoy scores 2.9 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.5, build durability 0.7, price competitiveness 0.1, usability 1.2 and owner satisfaction 0.4, each out of 2. The frozen-fruit dessert idea works and is simple. The score falls on a price nearly three times a very similar branded machine, 200 W sold as an upgrade and a misleading sugar-free claim.

What owners say

We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for FrostyJoy by that name. Owners of frozen-fruit dessert makers like the quick banana soft-serve, and complain that fruit must be frozen ahead, the texture is soft and melts fast, and the chute needs cleaning straight away.

What we did, and did not, do

Nobody on our team has used FrostyJoy. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with retailer listings for the Yonanas Classic, USDA nutrition data and the pages that rank for FrostyJoy. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.

How to use FrostyJoy for the creamiest results

Freeze very ripe bananas in chunks, let them soften for five to ten minutes, and alternate banana with other fruit as you feed the chute. Serve straight away, or firm it up in the freezer for half an hour. Rinse the chute and blade cone immediately after use, before fruit sets hard.

  1. Use very ripe bananas. Spotty skins mean sweeter, creamier results.
  2. Freeze in chunks. At least 24 hours.
  3. Soften slightly. Five to ten minutes on the counter.
  4. Alternate fruits. Banana between berries keeps it smooth.
  5. Push steadily. Do not force the plunger.
  6. Serve at once. Or firm up briefly in the freezer.
  7. Rinse immediately. Before fruit dries on.

Flavour ideas

Mango with banana, berries with cocoa powder, or peanut butter stirred in after.

Safety

Keep fingers out of the chute; always use the plunger.

What else do people ask about frozen-fruit dessert makers?

Most questions are about non-banana fruit, storage and children. Other fruit works best mixed with banana, leftovers refreeze firm and icy, and children should use it with an adult. Browse our kitchen tech reviews for more.

Can I use it without bananas?

Yes, but texture is icier. Mango and avocado add creaminess.

Can I store leftovers?

They refreeze hard; let them soften before eating.

Can I add chocolate or nuts?

Stir them in after, or feed small pieces between fruit.

Is it loud?

It makes a blender-like noise for short bursts.

Frequently asked questions

How much does FrostyJoy cost?

On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one FrostyJoy for $139, two for $249, three (two plus one free) for $329, four for $399 and five (three plus two free) for $449, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. A 200 W upgrade cost $7, an AutoMix stirrer $19 and a 3-year warranty $24.

Is FrostyJoy a Yonanas?

The page does not mention Yonanas, but the silver base, black chute and green button closely match the Yonanas Classic. In search results on 6 October 2026, the Yonanas Classic, listed at 200 watts, showed $49.99 at Walmart.

Is FrostyJoy ice cream really sugar-free?

It has no added sugar if you use only fruit, but fruit contains natural sugars. Bananas, the usual base, are sweet. 'Sugar-free' on the page is misleading; 'no added sugar' is accurate.

Can I make normal ice cream with FrostyJoy?

No. It does not churn or freeze. It grinds already-frozen fruit into a soft-serve texture. For dairy or custard ice cream, you need a churning ice cream maker.

Do I need the Power Up upgrade?

The upgrade is described as 'the powerful 200W version'. The page does not give the standard version's wattage. Hard frozen fruit needs power, so ask what the standard model is rated at.

What fruit works best?

Very ripe frozen bananas give the creamiest texture. Berries, mango and other fruit work well mixed with banana. Let frozen fruit soften for a few minutes before feeding it in.

Is FrostyJoy legit?

It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are a price nearly three times the similar Yonanas, power sold as an upgrade, the sugar-free claim and return postage at your cost.
