GoDetox Tea Review: A $29 'Detox' Tea Sold for Belly Fat, Toxin Flushing and Energy

Our verdict

No. GoDetox Tea is a peach-flavoured herbal tea sold with claims to burn belly fat, flush toxins, cleanse the colon and boost metabolism, illustrated with a tape measure and before-and-after belly photos. The page lists no ingredients, so you cannot check for laxatives, caffeine or allergens. NCCIH says there is no compelling research that detox diets help weight management or remove toxins, and the FTC has acted against detox tea weight-loss claims before. GoDetox Tea scores 1.8 out of 10, held back by its claims and missing label.

The short version

• What it is: a 28-bag herbal "detox" tea pack with no ingredients listed online.
• Price: $29 for one pack on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $69 flagged as the best seller.
• Best trait: a flavoured tea you can drink hot or cold.
• Biggest drawback: weight-loss and detox claims without evidence, and no ingredient list.
• Our score: 1.8 out of 10.

Pros & cons

The pros are limited to it being tea. The cons are about claims and transparency.

How it works

You steep a pyramid tea bag in hot water and drink it, hot or iced. That is all the page explains. Your liver and kidneys already remove waste from the body; no tea has been shown to do that job better. Many "detox" teas contain laxative herbs like senna, which make you go to the toilet more, and can make weight on the scale drop briefly through water loss.

1. 01

   Steep a bag

Step 1: Steep one tea bag in hot water, or brew and chill it for iced tea.

2. 02

   Drink it daily

Step 2: The page suggests a daily ritual; it gives no dosage or duration.

3. 03

   Check the label first

Step 3: Read the ingredient list on the pack for laxatives such as senna, caffeine sources and allergens before drinking.

The page title piles up "Natural Detox Tea For Weight Loss", "Organic Liver Detox Tea For Bloating Relief", "Gentle Colon Cleanse Herbal Tea", "All-Natural Slimming Tea For Belly Fat", "Herbal Flush Tea For Toxin Removal", "Detoxifying Slim Tea With Green Tea Extract" and "Caffeine-Free Detox Tea". The bullets mention 28 tea bags, digestion and bloating, antioxidant herbs, a non-GMO organic caffeine-free formula, hot or cold use and daily wellness.

What the page leaves out

Ingredients, amounts, caffeine content, laxative content, allergens, dosage, duration and any organic certification.

The pouch

The photo shows a pink pouch labelled "Googeer, It's time to... Detox, Energizing Tea", peach flavour, 28 pyramid tea bags.

Who it's for

GoDetox Tea only suits people who enjoy flavoured herbal tea and will read the full label first. For a tea-based drink that at least lists its ingredients, our Yerba Magic review covers an instant yerba mate powder.

• People who simply enjoy flavoured herbal tea and will read the label
• Anyone wanting a caffeine-free evening drink, if the label confirms it
• Buyers who want to try a peach-flavoured iced tea

Tea drinkers

As a flavoured drink, not a treatment.

Label readers

Only if the pack's ingredient list reassures you.

Who should skip it

Skip GoDetox Tea if you want to lose weight or belly fat, are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication or have bowel conditions, are sensitive to laxatives or caffeine, or are under 18.

• Anyone hoping to lose weight or belly fat
• People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication or with bowel conditions
• Anyone sensitive to laxatives or caffeine
• Children and teenagers

Does GoDetox Tea really burn fat and remove toxins?

No evidence says it does. NCCIH, part of the US National Institutes of Health, says a 2015 review found no compelling research to support detox diets for weight management or eliminating toxins, and that early weight loss from cleanses comes from eating less and is usually regained. It also notes the FDA and FTC have acted against detox products with hidden ingredients or false claims.

What NCCIH says

NCCIH's page on detoxes and cleanses warns that laxatives in some programmes can cause diarrhoea, dehydration and malabsorption.

What this means for you: a tea will not remove belly fat; check any detox tea for laxatives.

The FTC and detox teas

The FTC's blog post on its Teami case describes action against a detox tea company over unsupported weight-loss claims and undisclosed paid influencer posts.

"Caffeine-Free" and "Green Tea Extract"

Green tea contains caffeine. The pouch also says "energizing". What to do: ask for the full ingredient list before drinking it in the evening.

Before-and-after photos

The waist photos are not evidence and give no timescale, diet or source.

How much does GoDetox Tea cost, and what is cross-sold?

On 6 October 2026, one pack of GoDetox Tea cost $29, with the five-pack at $69 flagged as the best seller. No accessories were offered; instead the checkout cross-sold ReliefMate Pro for $14, SmartFitness, an EMS ab pad, for $29, and an Activ8 fitness tracker for $19. No warranty applies.

Is GoDetox Tea better than regular herbal tea or proven weight-loss approaches?

No. Ordinary herbal teas with listed ingredients cost less and make no medical claims. For weight, steady changes to diet, activity and sleep, with a doctor's help where needed, are what the evidence supports.

Where a rival wins

On honesty and price, ordinary herbal tea. On weight, proven lifestyle changes.

Is GoDetox Tea legit, and what should you check before buying?

GoDetox Tea is a real product from a named seller, and it should arrive if you order. The issues are its claims and missing label. Before buying, get the full ingredient list, check with a doctor if you take medication, switch from the five-pack and note the card statement name.

Get the ingredients

What to do: email support@g63com.com for the full ingredient list, caffeine content and whether it contains senna or other laxatives. Keep the reply.

Check the selected bundle

The five-pack for $69 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one pack, if any.

Card statement name and memberships

The charge appears as Matrixfze. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.

How did we score GoDetox Tea?

GoDetox Tea scores 1.8 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.0, build durability 0.5, price competitiveness 0.6, usability 0.4 and owner satisfaction 0.3, each out of 2. It is a flavoured tea at a low price per pack. The score falls on belly-fat, toxin and colon-cleanse claims without evidence, no ingredient list, a caffeine contradiction and before-and-after marketing.

How the score breaks down

We use the five criteria on our how we test page, each out of 2.

What owners say

We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for GoDetox Tea by that name. Buyers of detox teas elsewhere often report frequent toilet trips and stomach cramps, and little lasting weight change.

What we did, and did not, do

Nobody on our team has tried GoDetox Tea. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with NCCIH's detox guidance, the FTC's Teami case and the pages that rank for GoDetox Tea. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.

How to use GoDetox Tea safely, if you drink it

Read the full ingredient list first, avoid it if it contains laxatives you did not expect, and treat it as a drink rather than a treatment. Stop if you get diarrhoea or cramps, drink plenty of water, and talk to a doctor before using it with medication or during pregnancy.

1. Read the pack label. Check for senna, caffeine and allergens.
2. Ask a doctor if on medication. Laxatives affect absorption.
3. One cup, not many. Do not exceed the label.
4. Stay hydrated. Especially if it has laxative effects.
5. Stop if unwell. Diarrhoea, cramps or dizziness.
6. Not for children. Or during pregnancy without advice.
7. Focus on proven habits. Diet, activity and sleep.

Evening drinking

Avoid it before bed until you know the caffeine content.

Bloating

Persistent bloating deserves a GP visit, not a cleanse.
