Our verdict
Handy design, steep price. PetHydro Max is a 350 ml dog water bottle with a bowl on top: press the button and water fills the bowl, release it and the leftovers drain back. That is genuinely useful on walks. The problem is $49 for one, when pet retailers sell bottles of the same design for a fraction of that, and the lock that stops leaks costs extra. PetHydro Max scores 3.8 out of 10, held back by price and a small standard size.
The short version
- What it is: a travel water bottle for dogs with a built-in drinking bowl.
- Price: $49 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $135 flagged as the best seller.
- Best trait: one-hand watering that saves unused water.
- Biggest drawback: a high price for a common design, plus paid add-ons for a lock and more capacity.
- Our score: 3.8 out of 10.
Pros & cons
The bottle does something useful, and dogs need water on longer walks. The pros are about the design. The cons are almost all about value and the extras you pay for.
What we like
- One-hand design: press a button to fill the bowl, release to drain back
- Unused water returns to the bottle instead of being poured away
- Small enough for a bag at 208 mm tall, per the size image
- Food-grade plastic, according to the offer page
- The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number
What we don't
- $49 for one is several times the price of similar flip-bowl bottles at pet retailers
- The standard bottle holds 350 ml, a few drinks for a large dog on a warm day
- The lock that stops accidental leaks is a $4 add-on
- The larger 550 ml bottle costs $14 more
- Plastic bowls can be fiddly to clean thoroughly
- Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works
PetHydro Max has two parts: a clear bottle and a coloured top section shaped like a shallow scoop. Hold the bottle upright and press the paw-print button, and water rises from the bottle into the scoop for your dog to drink. Release the button and tip the bottle, and what is left in the bowl flows back in. You carry one item instead of a bottle and a bowl, and you do not waste water.

Fill and close the bottle
Step 1: Unscrew the bottle, fill it with fresh water and screw it back into the bowl section.
Press to fill the bowl
Step 2: Hold the bottle upright and press the button: water flows up into the bowl in front of your dog.
Release to save the rest
Step 3: When your dog has finished, release the button and tip the bottle so leftover water drains back inside.
The page title calls it a "portable water supply for pets" and an "on the go water supply". The six bullets say you will "never run out of water again", that it supports a healthy lifestyle for your pet, that "dehydration is one of the most common problems", that it fits in a handbag with no leaking, that it uses "quality materials, food grade plastics" and that it is "easy to use by everyone, no limitations".
The size
The offer page's size image shows the standard bottle at 350 ml, 208 mm tall and 75 mm wide. That is about 12 fluid ounces, roughly a small drinks can. The 550 ml upgrade is 260 mm tall and the same width.
Colours
The photos show pink, white and blue versions. The order page did not show a colour picker in the data we read, so ask support if colour matters to you.
Who it's for
PetHydro Max suits dog owners who go on walks of half an hour or more, especially owners of small and medium dogs, for whom 350 ml lasts a reasonable time. If your dog is large or you hike for hours, you will need more water than this bottle holds. Our BarXStop review covers another dog gadget from the same checkout.
- Dog owners who walk for 30 minutes or more, especially in warm weather
- Owners of small and medium dogs, for whom 350 ml goes further
- People who want one-hand watering without carrying a separate bowl
Owners of small dogs
A chihuahua or terrier needs only a few sips at a time, so 350 ml can cover a long walk.
Warm-weather walkers
Dogs cool down by panting, which uses water. On hot days, frequent small drinks help.
Car travellers
A bottle you can offer at a service station is easier than a bowl and a separate bottle.
Dog park regulars
Shared water bowls can spread germs between dogs. Your own bottle avoids that.
Who should skip it
Skip PetHydro Max if you have a large dog and walk for hours, if you already carry a collapsible bowl and bottle, or if you just want the cheapest version of this design.
- Owners of large dogs on long hikes, who need a litre or more of water
- Anyone happy with a collapsible bowl and an ordinary bottle
- Bargain hunters, since near-identical bottles cost much less elsewhere
How much does PetHydro Max cost, and are the add-ons needed?
On 6 October 2026, one PetHydro Max cost $49, with the five-pack at $135 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered a SafeLock for $4, the 550 ml version for $14, a USB car adapter for $4 and a 3-year warranty for $9. A bottle with the lock and larger size costs $67, several times what pet retailers charge for the same flip-bowl design.
PetHydro Max price and bundles
| Package | Total | Per bottle |
|---|---|---|
| 1 PetHydro Max | $49 | $49.00 |
| 2 PetHydro Max | $69 | $34.50 |
| 3 (buy 2, get 1 free) | $98 | $32.67 |
| 4 PetHydro Max | $123 | $30.75 |
| 5 (buy 3, get 2 free), best seller | $135 | $27.00 |
Prices are in US dollars as listed on 6 October 2026. One bottle per dog walker is plenty. You can check today's packages on the PetHydro Max order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab).
The SafeLock
For $4, a lock that "will prevent accidental leaking in case the button is pressed involuntary". The image shows a small slide beside the button. Given the page promises no leaking in a handbag, the lock should arguably be standard.

The 550 ml version
For $14, a taller bottle that holds 200 ml more. For medium and large dogs, it is the more useful size.

Car USB adapter and warranty
A $4 USB car adapter has nothing to do with a water bottle; skip it. The 3-year warranty costs $9, which is hard to justify on a plastic bottle.
Who sells it
The order page names G Com Pte Ltd at 137 Market Street in Singapore, with the email support@g63com.com and a phone number. The footer gives the country as Hong Kong. The page code says charges appear on your card statement as Matrixfze.

Does a dog water bottle like PetHydro Max really prevent dehydration?
It helps you offer water when your dog needs it, which is what prevents dehydration on walks. The bottle itself does nothing special: what matters is carrying enough water and offering it regularly. The page's "never run out of water again" depends on capacity, and 350 ml will not stretch far for a large dog on a hot day.
How much water dogs need
A widely cited American Kennel Club rule of thumb is about 0.5 to 1 ounce of water per pound of body weight per day. A 50-pound dog could need 50 ounces or more across a day, more in heat or exercise. The 350 ml bottle holds about 12 ounces.
What this means for you: for big dogs or long outings, buy the 550 ml version or carry a second bottle.
"Dehydration is one of the most common problems"
Dehydration is a real risk on hot days and long walks. Signs include heavy panting, dry or sticky gums, tiredness and skin that is slow to fall back when gently lifted at the neck. A dog that will not drink, vomits or seems weak needs a vet.
"Easy to carry in hand bag, no leaking"
The bottle screws shut, but pressing the button releases water into the bowl. In a crowded bag, that can happen by accident, which is exactly what the $4 lock is sold to prevent.
What to do: carry it upright in a side pocket, or buy the lock.
"Food grade plastics"
The page says food-grade plastic but does not name the plastic or say whether it is BPA-free. What to do: ask support for the material before ordering if that matters to you.
Is PetHydro Max better than cheaper dog water bottles?
Not on value. Pet retailers sell flip-bowl bottles that look and work the same way, from brands such as Lesotc, often for well under $30 and in larger sizes, frequently with a lock included. A collapsible silicone bowl plus any water bottle costs even less. PetHydro Max offers nothing those lack except the bundle discounts.
| Option | How it works | Capacity | Lock | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PetHydro Max | Flip-up bowl, button | 350 ml (550 ml +$14) | +$4 | $49 |
| Retail flip-bowl bottle | Flip-up bowl, button | Often several sizes | Often included | Usually much less |
| Collapsible bowl + bottle | Pour into bowl | Any bottle | n/a | Low |
| Squeeze bottle with trough | Squeeze into trough | Varies | Varies | Low to mid |
PetHydro Max vs a retail flip-bowl bottle
Same idea, same shape, and you can read hundreds of owner reviews before buying. That is the clearest case where a rival wins.
PetHydro Max vs a collapsible bowl
A collapsible bowl works with any bottle and any amount of water, which suits big dogs. It takes two hands and leftover water is usually poured away.

Is PetHydro Max legit, and what should you check before buying?
PetHydro Max is a real product from a named seller, and a bottle should arrive if you order. Before buying, compare prices with pet retailers, switch from the five-pack, decide on the lock and larger size, and note the card statement name.
Compare prices first
What to do: search a large pet retailer for "dog water bottle with bowl" and compare price, size and whether a lock is included.
Check the selected bundle
The five-pack for $135 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one bottle.
Card statement name and memberships
The charge appears as Matrixfze. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.
Refunds and returns
The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost.
How to buy PetHydro Max the smart way
- Open the PetHydro Max order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and select your country.
- Change the five-pack to one bottle.
- Add the 550 ml version if your dog is medium or large, and the lock if it rides in a bag.
- Leave the car adapter and warranty unticked.
- Note the card statement name, Matrixfze.
How did we score PetHydro Max?
PetHydro Max scores 3.8 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.9, build durability 0.8, price competitiveness 0.3, usability 1.3 and owner satisfaction 0.5, each out of 2. The flip-bowl design works and saves water. The score falls on a $49 price for a widely sold bottle, a small standard size, a leak lock sold as an extra and no detail on the plastic used.
How the score breaks down
We use the five criteria on our how we test page, each out of 2.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Claim accuracy | 0.9 / 2 | "No leaking" undercut by a paid lock |
| Build durability | 0.8 / 2 | Plastic bottle and button; material not named |
| Price competitiveness | 0.3 / 2 | Several times the price of similar bottles |
| Usability | 1.3 / 2 | One hand, saves water; small capacity |
| Owner satisfaction | 0.5 / 2 | No independent ratings for this listing |
| Total | 3.8 / 10 |
What owners say
We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for PetHydro Max by that name. Owners of similar flip-bowl bottles on large pet retail sites tend to like the one-hand use and water saving, and complain about leaks when the lock is missing or worn, small capacity for big dogs and dogs that are wary of the bowl at first.
What we did, and did not, do
Nobody on our team has used PetHydro Max. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with pet retailer listings for similar bottles and the pages that rank for PetHydro Max. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.
How to use PetHydro Max on walks and trips
Fill it with fresh water before each walk, offer small drinks every 20 to 30 minutes on warm days, and drain the bowl back before closing it. Wash it by hand after use so the bowl and button area stay clean, and carry a second bottle for large dogs or long outings.
- Fill with fresh, cool water. Not water left from yesterday.
- Hold it upright, then press. Let the bowl fill partway.
- Offer small, frequent drinks. Especially in heat.
- Release and tip back. Leftover water returns to the bottle.
- Lock it or keep it upright. Avoid bag leaks.
- Wash by hand daily. Warm soapy water, rinse the button area.
- Air dry it open. Damp, closed bottles can grow mould.
Getting your dog used to it
Some dogs are wary of a new bowl. Fill it at home first and let them drink from it calmly before using it outside.
Hot-weather walks
Walk early or late on hot days and watch for heavy panting or tiredness. Water helps, but shade and shorter walks matter too.

What else do people ask about dog water bottles?
Most questions are about cats, cleaning and whether to share a bottle between dogs. Some cats will drink from a bowl like this, cleaning by hand works best, and sharing between your own dogs is fine. Browse our household gadget reviews for other everyday buys.
Can cats use it?
Some will. Cats are often fussier about water than dogs, so try it at home first.
Can two dogs share it?
Your own dogs can. Avoid sharing with unknown dogs at parks.
Can I put ice in it?
Small cubes fit through the opening. Very cold water is fine in small amounts.
What if my dog will not drink on walks?
Some dogs only drink at home. Offer water when you stop, and give them a drink as soon as you get back.
Frequently asked questions
How much does PetHydro Max cost?
On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one PetHydro Max for $49, two for $69, three (two plus one free) for $98, four for $123 and five (three plus two free) for $135, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. A lock cost $4, the 550 ml version $14 and a 3-year warranty $9.
How much water does PetHydro Max hold?
The standard bottle holds 350 ml, about 12 fluid ounces, and is 208 mm tall and 75 mm wide according to the offer page's size image. A 550 ml version, 260 mm tall, costs $14 extra.
Does PetHydro Max leak?
The page says it does not leak in a handbag, but it sells a $4 SafeLock to stop leaks if the button is pressed by accident. Without the lock, a squashed bag could press the button. Carry it upright or buy a version with a lock.
How much water does a dog need on a walk?
It depends on size, heat and effort. A widely cited American Kennel Club rule of thumb is about 0.5 to 1 ounce of water per pound of body weight per day. On warm days, offer water often and carry more for big dogs.
Is PetHydro Max dishwasher safe?
The offer page does not say. Plastic bottles with seals usually last longer washed by hand in warm soapy water, with the bowl and button area rinsed well and left to dry.
Is PetHydro Max worth it?
The flip-bowl design is handy, but $49 is high. Pet retailers sell bottles that look and work the same way for a fraction of that, often with a lock included. If you buy here, choose the 550 ml version and the lock.
Is PetHydro Max legit?
It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are the price, the small standard size, paying extra for a lock, and return postage at your cost.
