Dual-camera optical flow drone

Quick answer

Worth considering only as a steadier toy drone, not as a 4K camera drone. The Tactic AIR Drone adds optical flow positioning, a second downward camera, gesture photos and a bigger battery than the seller's pocket drones, which should make it easier for beginners to fly.

Our verdict

Worth considering only as a steadier toy drone, not as a 4K camera drone. The Tactic AIR Drone adds optical flow positioning, a second downward camera, gesture photos and a bigger battery than the seller's pocket drones, which should make it easier for beginners to fly. But the 4K camera in its headline is sold as a $49 add-on, and the design matches the Visuo XS816, listed with 720p and 480p cameras for about the same price. The Tactic AIR Drone scores 3.6 out of 10, held back by the 4K claim, missing specs and refund terms.

The short version

  • What it is: a folding drone with front and bottom cameras, optical flow positioning, gesture control, follow mode and a battery promised to last up to 20 minutes.
  • Price: $99 for one on 4 October 2026, with a five-pack for $297 preselected and a 4K camera add-on for $49. Delivery was listed as free.
  • Best trait: a steadier hover and longer flights than a basic pocket toy.
  • Biggest drawback: the headline 4K camera costs extra, and the matching design is listed with 720p.
  • Our score: 3.6 out of 10.

Pros & cons

The pros are real upgrades over the seller's pocket drones. The cons are about the camera claim and what the page leaves out.

What we like

  • Optical flow positioning should hold a steadier hover over textured ground than a basic toy drone
  • Two cameras, front and downward, with picture-in-picture on your phone
  • Gesture photos and follow mode add fun for beginners
  • A bigger battery than pocket toys, with the page promising up to 20 minutes
  • Free delivery, and the seller names a registered company with a Singapore address

What we don't

  • The headline promises a 4K camera, yet the page sells a 4K Ultra HD camera as a $49 add-on
  • The design matches the Visuo XS816, listed with a 720p front camera and a 480p bottom camera
  • At about 160 g for the matching design, it needs UK registration and IDs for outdoor flying
  • No GPS, so it cannot return home on its own and struggles in wind
  • Add-on images show a case holding a different drone
  • Refunds need a returns number first, and you pay return postage to an overseas seller

How it works

The Tactic AIR Drone flies on four propellers, with a gyroscope keeping it level and a barometer helping it hold height. A downward camera adds optical flow positioning, which compares successive images of the ground to stop the drone drifting when it hovers low.

  1. Charge and unfold

Step 1: Charge the modular flight battery, unfold the arms, clip the battery in and attach your phone to the controller.

  2. Connect and hover

Step 2: Join the drone's Wi-Fi on your phone, open the app and take off. Over textured ground in good light, the downward camera helps the drone hold its position.

  3. Fly, film and try the smart modes

Step 3: Switch between the front and bottom camera views, try follow mode or a gesture photo, and land before the battery runs low.

Who it's for

The Tactic AIR Drone suits a beginner who wants a toy drone that is easier to keep steady, with fun extras like gesture photos and follow mode. It suits families flying in halls, gardens and calm parks. It does not suit anyone buying it for 4K video or long-range outdoor flights.

  • Beginners who want a steadier hover than a basic pocket toy and like gesture and follow features
  • Families who want a bigger, more stable toy drone for calm days and indoor halls
  • Buyers who prefer this offer page and accept paying around what the matching design is listed for, without 4K

Why the Tactic AIR Drone appeals

The page pitches it as a "private photographer": a foldable drone with a "wide angle 4K HD dual camera", "smart follow me mode", "intelligent gesture recognition control", a "motorized active 4K camera", a "modular 20 min long fly time battery" and "optical flow positioning". That list reads like a camera drone from a big brand at a fraction of the price.

The photo backs it up visually: a dark, angular folding drone with a gimballed-looking camera at the front, shown unfolded, folded and next to a controller with a phone.

Who gets the most value

Beginners who found pocket drones hard to control may find this one easier. Optical flow helps it hover in place over textured ground, which reduces the constant correcting that makes basic toys tiring. A bigger battery means longer practice sessions.

Beginners who struggled with a pocket drone

If you have tried a basic pocket drone and found it exhausting to keep in one place, the difference optical flow makes can be striking. Instead of constant small corrections, you can let go of the sticks while hovering low over grass and the drone mostly stays put. That frees you to think about where to fly next, which is how flying starts to feel fun rather than stressful.

Families and older children

Gesture photos, where you make a hand signal and the drone takes a picture, and follow mode are fun for children and teenagers. With an adult supervising, it can be a good shared activity in a sports hall or a quiet park on a still day.

Photo and video hobbyists

If you want to film, read the camera section carefully. Paying $99 plus $49 for a 4K camera add-on that the page does not explain is a gamble. A sub-250 g GPS drone from an established brand gives real, stabilised 4K for more money but far less uncertainty.

Who should skip it

Skip the Tactic AIR Drone if 4K video is the reason you are buying, if you need GPS and return-to-home, or if you fly in the UK and do not want to register.

  • Anyone buying it for 4K video, which the page sells separately
  • Pilots who want GPS, return-to-home or reliable outdoor flying in wind
  • UK flyers who do not want to register, since the matching design weighs about 160 g
  • Children flying without supervision

Does the Tactic AIR Drone really shoot 4K?

Not as standard, on the page's own evidence. The headline promises a "wide angle 4K HD dual camera", but the order page sells a "4K Ultra HD Resolution Camera" as a $49 add-on. The design matches the Visuo XS816, which retail listings describe with a 2-megapixel 720p front camera and a 480p bottom camera. Ask support in writing what resolution the standard camera records before you buy.

What the offer page claims

The page headline reads "Tactic AIR Drone, foldable drone with wide angle 4K HD dual camera, quadcopter optical flow pressure altitude hold". The seven bullets are: smart follow me mode, private photographer, dual camera and picture-in-picture display, intelligent gesture recognition control, motorized active 4K camera, modular 20 min long fly time battery, and optical flow positioning.

The 4K camera add-on

The page code offers a "4K Ultra HD Resolution Camera" for $49, shown reduced from $99. Its image shows the front camera of a drone marked "Z5", with text about a 120-degree wide-angle lens adjustable between 0 and 90 degrees. If 4K were standard, there would be no need to sell it. In our view, this is the most important thing to understand before buying.

The design it matches

The Tactic AIR Drone's folding shape, dual cameras, optical flow, gesture control and 20-minute battery match a widely sold budget model, the Visuo XS816. A drone news site's overview of the Visuo XS816 and retailer listings describe a 2-megapixel 720p front camera and a 480p bottom camera, a 1,800 mAh battery for up to 20 minutes, optical flow, gesture shooting, follow mode and a weight of about 160 g. One listing priced it at about $94.

We cannot confirm the parts inside today's Tactic AIR Drone. But the matching design's specs suggest what to expect if you do not buy the add-on.

What "4K" often means on budget drones

Some budget drones advertise 4K but record at a lower resolution and upscale the image, or record 4K at a very low frame rate. A tiny sensor and lens cannot capture 4K detail even when the file is 4K. Without stabilisation, shake blurs fine detail anyway. Treat any 4K claim on a budget drone with caution until you see the actual file resolution and frame rate.

"Motorized active 4K camera"

The page says the camera is motorised. On the matching design, the front camera's tilt can be adjusted, which lets you aim it downward or forward. That is not the same as a three-axis gimbal, which stabilises the image against the drone's movement. Expect visible shake in windy conditions.

How to check what your camera really records

After a test flight, copy a video file from your phone to a computer and look at its properties. The resolution, such as 1280 by 720 for 720p or 3840 by 2160 for 4K, and the frame rate tell you what the camera actually recorded. If the app saves video to the phone over Wi-Fi, the saved file may be lower resolution than the camera can capture onboard. Some drones also record to a memory card in the drone itself; the page does not say whether this one does.

Why sensor size matters more than the number

A 4K label describes how many pixels a video frame contains, not how much detail the lens and sensor capture. Tiny sensors in budget drones collect little light, so images are soft, noisy in dim conditions and prone to blown-out skies. A well-made 1080p camera with a larger sensor can look better than a poor 4K one. That is why established camera drones list sensor size, not just resolution.

Picture-in-picture

The dual-camera feature lets you see the front and bottom views at once on your phone, or switch between them. It is a fun extra and can help when landing. The bottom camera is low resolution on the matching design, so treat it as a viewfinder rather than a second camera for keeps.

How steady and long-flying is the Tactic AIR Drone?

Steadier than a basic toy, thanks to optical flow, and longer-flying, with up to 20 minutes promised and listed for the matching design. Optical flow works best low over textured ground in good light, and fails over plain floors, water or at height. Without GPS, it still drifts in wind and cannot return home. Real flight times are usually shorter than the maximum, especially in wind or cold weather.

What optical flow does

A downward camera tracks the pattern of the ground. When the drone starts to drift, the image moves, and the flight controller corrects. This keeps the drone in place while hovering a few metres up over grass, carpet with a pattern or paving. It is the same principle used in computer mice.

Where optical flow fails

Optical flow needs texture and light. Over a plain, shiny floor, water, snow or in dim light, the camera cannot see movement, and the drone drifts like a basic toy. It also works poorly above a few metres, where ground detail is too small. Learn where it works and keep the drone low there.

Flight time

The page promises a modular 20-minute battery. Listings for the matching XS816 give up to 20 minutes from an 1,800 mAh battery, with about an hour to charge. Expect less in wind, cold weather or with fast flying. Still, that is roughly double a pocket toy's flight time.

Hovering over different surfaces

Optical flow works well over lawns, gravel, patterned rugs and paving, where the camera can see plenty of detail. It struggles over plain floors, glossy tiles, still water, snow and sand with no texture. Indoors, a patterned rug or a few sheets of newspaper on the floor can give it something to track. Outdoors, grass is ideal.

Weight and wind

At about 160 g for the matching design, the Tactic AIR Drone is heavier than pocket toys, which helps a little in light wind. Without GPS, though, it cannot hold its position against a breeze at height. Fly outdoors only on calm days.

Charging time and session length

With roughly an hour to charge a battery of the size listed for the matching design, one battery gives you one flight per hour at most. If you want an afternoon of flying, two or three batteries let you rotate: fly one while another charges and a third cools. That is why spare batteries matter more than any camera add-on.

Range

The page gives no range. Wi-Fi video links on drones of this class usually reach tens of metres to perhaps 100 m in clear conditions, and drop before the controller loses contact. Keep the drone in sight and close.

Optical flow compared with GPS and vision systems

GPS gives a drone its absolute position from satellites, which lets it hold position high up, return home and fly waypoints over long distances. Optical flow gives only relative movement over nearby ground, which is excellent for low hovering but useless at height. Premium drones combine both, plus downward and forward vision sensors, to fly steadily everywhere. The Tactic AIR Drone, like the matching XS816, has optical flow alone.

The modular battery

The page describes a "modular" battery, meaning it clips in and out rather than being built in. That makes swapping in a spare quick between flights. Larger batteries such as the 1,800 mAh listed for the matching design take longer to charge than pocket drone batteries and store more energy, so treat them with care.

Smart features

Follow mode tracks you in the app's view, gesture control takes photos or video when you make a hand signal, and waypoint flight, listed for the matching design, flies a route you draw on the screen. These features depend on good light and a stable Wi-Fi link, and work best at low speed in open spaces.

How much does the Tactic AIR Drone cost, including the 4K add-on?

On 4 October 2026, with the United States selected, one Tactic AIR Drone cost $99, shown as half of $198, with free delivery. The five-pack for $297 was preselected. The 4K camera add-on cost $49, so a "4K" Tactic AIR Drone would cost $148. A 3-year warranty cost $24, propellers $9 and a case $34. One retail listing priced the matching Visuo XS816 at about $94.

One drone is plenty for most households. You can check today's packages on the Tactic AIR Drone order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab).

The add-ons

  • 4K Ultra HD Resolution Camera: $49 (from $99). Ask exactly what it is, how it fits and what resolution and frame rate it records.
  • Extra Propeller Blades Set: $9 (from $29). The image shows black and white propellers. Spare propellers are worth having.
  • Tactic AIR Drone Protection Travel Case: $34 (from $79). Pictured holding a different, grey folding drone.

Total cost for a "4K" setup

To get what the headline describes, you would pay $99 for the drone and $49 for the 4K camera add-on, $148 in total, before any warranty or spare batteries. At that point, you are approaching the price of entry-level GPS drones from established brands on sale, which record stabilised video and return home automatically. Weigh that before adding the camera.

Spare batteries

The page sells a "modular" battery but offers no spare. What to do: ask support whether spare batteries are available. They are the most useful extra for any drone.

The "regular price"

The page shows $198 crossed out next to $99 with a countdown. We found no evidence of the Tactic AIR Drone selling at $198.

Who sells it

The order page and impressum name G Com Pte Ltd, at 137 Market Street in Singapore, with a company registration number, email and phone number. The footer says "G Com Pte Ltd - Hong Kong". We found no independent rating profile for the store. With the United States selected, the order page said charges would appear as panameedia.

Is the Tactic AIR Drone better than the seller's pocket drones or a GPS drone?

It is a better toy than the seller's DroneX Pro, Drone Ultra and Sparkcopter, which lack optical flow and have smaller batteries, for the same $99. It is not a substitute for a GPS camera drone, which holds position at height, returns home and records stabilised video. The matching Visuo XS816 has been listed for about the same price without the offer page premium.

What the extra weight buys

At about 160 g, the matching design carries a larger battery and a second camera, which explains its longer flights. The extra weight also makes it a little more stable in light air than 100 g pocket toys. The trade-off is that it crosses the UK's 100 g registration threshold and carries more energy if it hits something, so propeller guards and careful flying matter more.

Tactic AIR Drone vs DroneX Pro, Drone Ultra and Sparkcopter

The seller's pocket drones, covered in our DroneX Pro, Drone Ultra and Sparkcopter reviews, share one budget design with about 7 to 9 minutes of flight and no optical flow. For the same $99, the Tactic AIR Drone should hover more steadily and fly longer. If you are choosing between the seller's drones, this is the better toy.

Tactic AIR Drone vs the original DroneX

Our DroneX review covers the seller's first drone, with a 480p camera and about 8 minutes of flight. The Tactic AIR Drone is a step up in features at the same price.

Tactic AIR Drone vs the Visuo XS816

If the Tactic AIR Drone is the XS816, as its features suggest, buying the XS816 under its own name from a retailer with simple returns gives you the same drone, often with spare parts readily available. This is where a rival wins on value.

Choosing between the seller's drones

If you are set on buying from this seller, the Tactic AIR Drone is the strongest of its drones on paper. It costs the same $99 as the pocket drones for one unit, and adds a bigger battery, optical flow and a second camera. Its bundles cost the same as Drone Ultra and Sparkcopter. Skip the 4K add-on unless support gives you a convincing answer about what it is.

Tactic AIR Drone vs a GPS drone

A sub-250 g GPS drone from an established brand holds position at height, returns home automatically and records stabilised video. It costs several times more, but if 4K footage is the goal, it is the honest route there. Browse our drone reviews for more options.

If the Tactic AIR Drone still fits, check today's packages on the Tactic AIR Drone offer page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and order one.

Do you need to register the Tactic AIR Drone?

In the US, a recreational drone under 250 g needs no FAA registration, but you must pass the free safety test. In the UK, the matching design's weight of about 160 g means a Flyer ID and, with a camera, an Operator ID are required for outdoor flying. In the EU, camera drones generally need operator registration. Check your drone's weight with its battery fitted.

United States

The FAA's guidance for recreational flyers says drones under 250 g flown for fun do not need registration. All recreational flyers must pass the free Recreational UAS Safety Test, keep the drone in sight, fly below 400 feet and follow airspace restrictions.

United Kingdom

Since 1 January 2026, anyone flying a drone of 100 g or more outdoors needs a Flyer ID from a free theory test, and a camera drone of that weight also needs an Operator ID, registered with the Civil Aviation Authority. The Operator ID must be displayed on the drone. At about 160 g for the matching design, this applies.

European Union

EASA's registration requirements generally require camera drone operators to register, even under 250 g, unless the drone is certified as a toy.

Weighing your drone

Put the drone on a kitchen scale with its battery fitted and propellers attached. If it reads 100 g or more and you fly outdoors in the UK, you need a Flyer ID and, because it has a camera, an Operator ID. In the US, if it stays under 250 g and you fly purely for fun, registration is not needed, but the free safety test still is.

Follow mode and the rules

Follow mode can tempt you to stop watching the drone. The rules still require you to keep it in sight, and the drone has no obstacle avoidance listed. Use follow mode only in open spaces, at low speed, with someone else watching if possible.

Is the Tactic AIR Drone legit, and what should you check before buying?

The Tactic AIR Drone is a real product from a named seller, and a drone should arrive if you order. Before buying, confirm the standard camera's resolution in writing, decide whether the $49 4K add-on is worth the risk, change the preselected five-pack, and know that refunds need a returns number and that return postage is yours to pay. Each point below ends with one action.

Confirm the camera in writing

What to do: email support and ask what resolution and frame rate the standard camera records, and exactly what the 4K add-on is. Keep the reply, because it matters if you need to claim a refund.

Check the selected bundle

The five-pack for $297 was preselected. What to do: change it to one drone before entering your details.

Membership offers

The page code contains text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership, free for 30 days and then "a small fee of $9 may apply". We did not see it on the order page with the United States selected. What to do: read every checkbox and post-purchase page.

Refunds and returns

The page code promises a 30-day guarantee with a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms focus on defective or damaged products, which may be returned within two years once you have a returns number. Return postage is at your cost and is not reimbursed.

What to do: check the camera's recorded resolution and test the drone on the day it arrives, and contact support straight away if it does not match what you were told.

Battery safety

What to do: charge the battery only with the supplied cable, while someone is nearby, and stop using it if it swells, smells or gets very hot.

Travelling with the drone

Airlines usually require lithium drone batteries in hand luggage, with terminals protected from short circuits. Larger batteries may need checking against the airline's watt-hour limits. What to do: check your airline's rules before you fly, and pack each battery in its own bag or case.

Children and follow mode

Follow mode is tempting for children, who love being filmed. What to do: use it only in open spaces with an adult watching the drone, never near roads, trees or other people, and switch it off if the drone loses track.

How to buy the Tactic AIR Drone the smart way

  1. Ask support about the standard camera and the 4K add-on, in writing.
  2. Open the Tactic AIR Drone order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and select your country.
  3. Change the preselected five-pack to one drone.
  4. Add the 4K camera only if support's answer satisfies you.
  5. Note the card statement name, panameedia, and save your order email.
  6. Check registration rules before flying outdoors, especially in the UK.

How did we score the Tactic AIR Drone?

The Tactic AIR Drone scores 3.6 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.4, build durability 1.0, price competitiveness 0.6, usability 1.2 and owner satisfaction 0.4, each out of 2. It has better features than the seller's pocket drones at the same price, but the 4K headline conflicts with a paid 4K add-on, the page gives few specs, and we found no independent owner ratings.

What owners and testers say

We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no independent reviews for the Tactic AIR Drone by name. Top-ranking pages are mostly sponsored articles repeating the 4K and 20-minute claims. Owners of XS816-style dual-camera drones commonly praise the steadier hover and longer flights compared with pocket toys, and complain about low-resolution video, Wi-Fi lag and drift outdoors.

How the score breaks down

What we did, and did not, do

Nobody on our team has flown the Tactic AIR Drone. We read the offer page our link opens with the United States selected, its code and the seller's terms on 4 October 2026, along with specifications for the matching Visuo XS816, FAA, UK CAA and EASA rules and the top-ranking Tactic AIR Drone pages.

How to use the Tactic AIR Drone: hovering, smart modes and battery care

Start low over a textured surface in good light, where optical flow works best, and learn the controls in the slowest mode. Try gesture photos and follow mode only in open spaces with no obstacles. Land at the first battery warning, let the battery cool before charging, and keep spare propellers handy.

  1. Charge fully and check the propellers. Each propeller must sit on its marked motor.
  2. Calibrate on a flat surface. Follow the leaflet before the first flight.
  3. Hover low over texture. Grass, patterned carpet or paving helps optical flow hold position.
  4. Learn manual control first. Height, rotation, then forward and back.
  5. Try gesture photos. Stand a few metres away, in good light, facing the drone.
  6. Use follow mode carefully. Open space only, low speed, someone watching.
  7. Land at the first warning. Do not push the battery to empty.

Using gesture control well

Gesture recognition relies on the camera seeing your hand clearly against the background. Stand two to three metres from the drone in good light, face it directly, and make the gesture slowly and clearly. Busy backgrounds, dim light and backlighting from the sun make recognition less reliable. If it fails, use the app's shutter button instead.

Following safely

Before using follow mode, walk the route you plan to take and check for branches, wires and people. Keep the speed low, stay in open ground and have someone else watch the drone if you can. If the drone loses you, it may stop or drift, so be ready to take manual control.

Adjusting the camera angle

The front camera on the matching design tilts. Aim it slightly down for landscapes and fully down for overhead shots of a garden or a picnic. Set the angle before take-off, because adjusting it in flight can unsettle beginners.

Getting better video

Fly slowly and smoothly, in good light, with the sun behind you. Tilt the camera down slightly for landscapes. Check the recorded file's resolution on your phone or computer, so you know what the camera really captures.

When optical flow stops working

If the drone starts drifting over a plain floor, water or as light fades, take manual control and move to a textured area or land. Optical flow is a helper, not autopilot.

Waypoint flying

Waypoint mode, listed for the matching design, lets you draw a path on the phone screen for the drone to follow. It is a fun way to fly smooth lines for video. Without GPS, though, the drone estimates its path from its sensors, so it may not follow the route accurately, especially outdoors. Use it in open spaces at low height, and be ready to take control.

Start with a short, simple route, such as a straight line across a lawn, and watch how closely the drone follows it before trying curves. If it wanders badly, the sensors may be struggling with the surface or light, and manual flying will give smoother results. Keep waypoint routes short, because even a 20-minute battery does not go far once you include take-off, setup and a safe margin for landing.

Battery care

Let the battery cool after flying before charging. Store it partly charged if you will not fly for a while. Replace it if it swells or loses flight time sharply.

Planning a flight

Before each outdoor flight, check the wind, the light and the space around you. Decide where you will take off and land, and what you want to film. Keep the first battery for warm-up flying, then try smart modes on the second. A little planning turns a few minutes of battery into useful practice or a good clip.

Wi-Fi interference

Busy Wi-Fi areas, such as town centres and holiday parks, can disrupt the drone's video link. If the picture stutters, move away from buildings, fly closer, and switch off your phone's mobile data, which can make some phones prioritise the wrong network.

After a crash

Check the arms, propellers and camera mount. Replace damaged propellers before flying again, because a chipped propeller causes vibration and drift.

Other questions about dual-camera toy drones

Is a dual camera useful? The downward camera mainly serves optical flow and gives a fun overhead view. Its low resolution on the matching design makes it a viewfinder rather than a second recording camera.

Can it avoid obstacles? The page does not list obstacle avoidance, and the matching design does not have it. Keep well away from trees, walls and people.

How far can it follow me? Follow mode works over short distances in open space while the Wi-Fi link holds. Do not expect it to track you on a bike or along a trail like premium drones.

Can I fly it at night? Optical flow needs light, and rules in many places restrict night flying. Fly in daylight.

Is it waterproof? No drone of this class is. Land if rain starts and dry it before charging.

What should I do if it flies away? Let go of the sticks; with altitude hold it should hover. Then press the landing button if you have lost orientation. Follow it on foot while you can see it, and never into roads.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Tactic AIR Drone really have a 4K camera?

The headline says 4K, but the order page sells a 4K Ultra HD camera as a $49 add-on, shown reduced from $99. That suggests the standard camera is not 4K. The design matches the Visuo XS816, which is listed with a 720p front camera and a 480p bottom camera. Ask support in writing before buying.

How long does the Tactic AIR Drone fly?

The page promises a modular battery with up to 20 minutes of flight. Listings for the matching Visuo XS816 give up to 20 minutes from an 1,800 mAh battery, with about an hour to charge. Real flights are usually shorter, especially in wind or cold weather.

What is optical flow positioning?

A downward camera watches the ground and the flight controller uses the movement of the image to hold the drone in place. It works best low over textured surfaces in good light. It does not work over plain floors, water or in darkness, and it is not GPS.

How much does the Tactic AIR Drone cost?

With the United States selected on 4 October 2026, the offer page listed one for $99, two for $159, three for $197, four for $249 and five for $297. The five-pack was preselected. Delivery was listed as free, a 3-year warranty cost $24 and the 4K camera add-on cost $49.

Do I need to register the Tactic AIR Drone?

In the US, recreational drones under 250 g do not need FAA registration, but you must pass the free safety test. In the UK, the matching design's weight of about 160 g means you need a Flyer ID and Operator ID. In the EU, camera drones generally need operator registration.

Does the Tactic AIR Drone have GPS?

The page does not mention GPS, and the matching Visuo XS816 uses optical flow, not GPS. It can hold position low over textured ground, but it cannot return home automatically or hold position high up in wind.

Is the Tactic AIR Drone legit?

It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, company number, email and phone. The concerns are the 4K headline versus the paid 4K add-on, the missing specs, the preselected five-pack and refund terms that leave return postage to you.
