Our verdict

A key number first: $199 for a folding GPS drone that claims 26 minutes in the air. On paper, XPro Drone has the features beginners should want: brushless motors, GPS and return-to-home when the battery runs low. But the page never gives the weight, camera sensor, frame rate, gimbal type or range, and those decide whether a drone is legal to fly unregistered and whether its "4K" footage looks good. XPro Drone scores 3.6 out of 10, held back by missing specs.

The short version

  • What it is: a folding quadcopter with GPS, brushless motors, a camera and a phone-holding controller.
  • Price: $199 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $699 flagged as the best seller.
  • Best trait: GPS return-to-home and brushless motors at a budget price.
  • Biggest drawback: no weight, camera, gimbal or range figures.
  • Our score: 3.6 out of 10.

Pros & cons

XPro Drone sits a step above the toy drones sold on the same checkout, because GPS and brushless motors make a real difference. The cons are mostly about what the seller does not tell you.

What we like

  • GPS with one-button and low-battery return-to-home, per the offer page
  • Brushless motors, which last longer than the brushed motors on toy drones
  • A claimed flight time of up to 26 minutes, long for this price
  • Folding design with a phone-holding controller and app
  • The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number

What we don't

  • No weight, so you cannot tell whether it needs FAA registration
  • No camera sensor, video frame rate or gimbal type stated, so '4K' is hard to judge
  • No range or wind rating figures
  • Spare propellers and a case are add-ons; spare batteries are not offered
  • Proven rivals such as the DJI Mini 4K launched at $299 with full specs
  • Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works

XPro Drone is a four-rotor drone whose arms fold against the body for carrying. Brushless motors spin the propellers, a GPS receiver tracks its position, and a camera at the front sends live video to your phone, which clips into the controller. GPS lets the drone hold its position in the air and fly back to where it took off, either when you press a button or when the battery runs low.

The drone, controller and app as shown on the offer page. Image: XPro
  1. Charge and pair

Step 1: Charge the flight battery and the controller, install the app on your phone, clip the phone into the controller and connect to the drone's Wi-Fi.

  2. Wait for GPS, then take off

Step 2: Unfold the arms, set the drone on open ground and wait for a GPS lock so it records its home point before you take off.

  3. Fly, film and return

Step 3: Fly within sight, record from the app, and press return-to-home or let the low-battery return bring it back.

The page title calls it a "4K GPS pro drone", a "brush-less motors powerful drone", a "remote control gimbal camera drone" and an "active compass GPS drone". The six bullets promise "breathtaking videos and pictures with 4K camera", GPS calibration with one-button return, self-return on low battery, flight time "rated up to 26 minutes", active stabilisation "with dedicated processing against wind" and a controller with a rechargeable battery.

Why GPS and brushless motors matter

Toy drones without GPS drift with the breeze and can fly away. GPS lets a drone hover in place and come home. Brushless motors run cooler, last longer and give more power than the brushed motors in cheap drones. Both are signs of a more capable class of drone.

What the page leaves out

There is no weight, camera sensor size, video frame rate, bitrate, gimbal axes, transmission range, top speed or wind rating. The drone in the photos resembles several folding GPS drones sold under other names, and we could not confirm the maker.

Who it's for

XPro Drone suits beginners who want GPS and return-to-home rather than a toy, and travellers who want a folding drone for holiday clips, as long as they accept that the specs are unconfirmed. It is not for people who need a confirmed weight under 250 grams or sharp, stable video. Our Explore AIR review covers a cheaper drone from the same checkout without GPS.

  • Beginners who want GPS return-to-home rather than a toy drone
  • Travellers who want a folding drone for holiday clips
  • Buyers who accept unknown specs in return for a lower price

Beginners stepping up from a toy

GPS hover and return-to-home make flying outdoors far less stressful than with a toy drone.

Holiday filmers

A folding drone fits in a backpack. Check the rules where you travel before you pack it.

Gift buyers

A GPS drone suits teenagers and adults who will fly in open spaces. Younger children are better with an indoor toy drone.

Who should skip it

Skip XPro Drone if you need to know it weighs under 250 grams, if you want smooth video from a three-axis gimbal, or if you fly in wind, near the coast or at long range.

  • Anyone who needs a confirmed sub-250-gram weight
  • People who want stable, sharp video from a three-axis gimbal
  • Pilots who fly in wind, near the coast or at long range

Are XPro Drone's 4K and 26-minute claims believable?

Possibly, but nothing on the page lets you check them. The page says it shoots 4K and flies for up to 26 minutes, yet gives no sensor, frame rate, bitrate or battery capacity. Many budget drones label upscaled video as 4K, and real flight times usually fall short of the rated figure in wind or cold.

"Breathtaking videos and pictures with 4K camera"

A 4K label can mean native 4K video at 30 frames per second, 4K photos only, or lower-resolution video upscaled. Image quality also depends on the sensor and the gimbal. What to do: ask support for the native video resolution, frame rate and sensor size before buying.

"Rated up to 26 minutes air time"

Rated flight times are measured hovering in calm air. Climbing, fast flight, wind and cold all cut them. Plan on less, and with no spare batteries offered, one flight per charge.

"Active stabilisation against wind"

GPS and an electronic compass help a drone hold position. The page gives no wind rating, so treat breezy days with caution, and do not fly near the sea or in gusts.

Gimbal

The title mentions a "gimbal camera" but not how many axes. A three-axis gimbal keeps video level as the drone tilts; a one or two-axis gimbal or electronic stabilisation is less smooth.

What are the rules for flying XPro Drone?

In the US, recreational drones of 250 grams or more must be registered with the FAA, and every recreational flyer must pass the free Trust test. Flyers must stay at or below 400 feet in uncontrolled airspace and keep the drone in sight. The XPro Drone page gives no weight, so weigh it with its battery before your first flight.

US rules

The FAA's guidance for recreational flyers sets out the rules: register drones of 250 grams or more, pass the Trust test, fly at or below 400 feet in uncontrolled airspace, keep the drone within visual line of sight and follow Remote ID rules for registered drones.

What to do: weigh the drone with its battery on a kitchen scale and register it if it is 250 grams or more.

UK and EU

In the UK, the Civil Aviation Authority runs registration for drone operators and flyer IDs. In the EU, EASA sets registration requirements that apply to many camera drones. Check the rules where you live and travel.

Privacy and where not to fly

Do not film people in private places, and keep away from airports, crowds and emergency scenes.

How much does XPro Drone cost, and are the add-ons needed?

On 6 October 2026, one XPro Drone cost $199, with the five-pack at $699 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered spare propellers for $14, a carrying case for $27, a USB car adapter for $4 and a 3-year warranty for $9. Spare propellers are worth having; the checkout did not offer spare batteries.

Prices are in US dollars as listed on 6 October 2026. Nobody needs five drones. You can check today's packages on the XPro Drone order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab).

Extra propellers

For $14, a spare set so a broken blade does not ground you. The image shows eight blades, screws and a screwdriver. Propellers chip easily on landings, so this is a sensible buy.

Carrying case

For $27, a hard zip case with foam cut-outs for the drone, a battery and the controller, sold as waterproof, dust proof and shock proof. Useful for travel.

Car adapter and warranty

The $4 USB car adapter is offered for charging the battery on the go; check that it supplies enough power for the drone's charger. The 3-year warranty costs $9, cheap for a $199 drone, though crash damage is usually excluded from warranties.

Who sells it

The order page names G Com Pte Ltd at 137 Market Street in Singapore, with the email support@g63com.com and a phone number. The footer gives the country as Hong Kong. The page code says charges appear on your card statement as perfectchoicebase.com.

Is XPro Drone better than the DJI Mini 4K or DroneX Pro?

XPro Drone beats toy drones such as DroneX Pro on features, but the DJI Mini 4K is the safer buy where it is sold. DJI's entry model launched at $299 with published specs: under 249 grams, a three-axis gimbal, 4K video and up to 31 minutes of flight. XPro Drone costs $100 less but publishes none of those figures.

XPro Drone vs DJI Mini 4K

DJI's Mini 4K launch set a $299 price for a drone under 249 grams with a three-axis gimbal and long range. Stated specs, a large owner community and repair support make it the clearer choice if it is available where you live. That is where a rival wins.

XPro Drone vs DroneX Pro and Drone Ultra

Our DroneX Pro review and Drone Ultra review cover cheaper folding drones without GPS. XPro Drone's GPS and brushless motors put it in a more capable class, if the claims hold.

Older DroneX

Our DroneX review covers the original model in that line, for comparison.

Is XPro Drone legit, and what should you check before buying?

XPro Drone is a real product from a named seller, and a drone should arrive if you order. Before buying, ask for the weight and camera specs, switch from the five-pack, add spare propellers, and note the card statement name. Check your country's drone rules before your first flight.

Ask for the specs

What to do: email support@g63com.com and ask for the weight with battery, native video resolution and frame rate, gimbal axes, range and battery capacity. Keep the reply.

Check the selected bundle

The five-pack for $699 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one drone.

Card statement name and memberships

The charge appears as perfectchoicebase.com. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.

Refunds and returns

The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost. Drones with lithium batteries can be costly to post abroad.

How to buy XPro Drone the smart way

  1. Ask support for the weight and camera specs.
  2. Open the XPro Drone order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and select your country.
  3. Change the five-pack to one drone.
  4. Add spare propellers; add the case if you travel.
  5. Note the card statement name, perfectchoicebase.com.

What owners say

We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for XPro Drone by that name. The pages that rank for it are mostly sponsored articles. Owners of similar budget GPS drones on large retail sites tend to like the price and GPS hold, and complain about shaky video, shorter real flight times, weak Wi-Fi range and apps that crash.

What we did, and did not, do

Nobody on our team has flown XPro Drone. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with FAA, CAA and EASA guidance, DJI Mini 4K specs and the pages that rank for XPro Drone. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.

How to use XPro Drone for the best results

Calibrate the compass, wait for a solid GPS lock before take-off, and make your first flights low and slow in an open field on a calm day. Keep the drone in sight, start return-to-home with battery to spare, and carry spare propellers so a chipped blade does not end the day.

  1. Charge everything. Drone battery, controller and phone.
  2. Calibrate the compass. Away from metal and cars.
  3. Wait for GPS lock. So the home point is recorded.
  4. Start in open space. No trees, wires or people.
  5. Stay low and close. Learn the controls first.
  6. Return early. Do not rely on the low-battery return.
  7. Check propellers. Replace any chipped blade.

Filming smoothly

Fly slowly and turn gently. Sudden moves show up as shaky footage, especially without a three-axis gimbal.

Battery care

Let the battery cool before recharging, and store it about half charged if you will not fly for a while.

What else do people ask about budget GPS drones?

Most questions are about range, flyaways and flying abroad. Range on phone-linked drones is often limited, flyaways usually come from poor GPS lock or compass errors, and many countries require registration for camera drones. Browse our drone reviews for other options.

How far can it fly?

The page gives no range. Phone-linked budget drones often lose video well before the controller signal fails. Stay within sight.

What causes flyaways?

Taking off before a GPS lock, compass interference and low batteries. Calibrate, wait for the lock and return early.

Can I fly it abroad?

Check the destination's rules and airline battery rules before packing.

Can it fly indoors?

GPS does not work well indoors. Practise outdoors in open space instead.

Frequently asked questions

How much does XPro Drone cost?

On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one XPro Drone for $199, two for $359, three (two plus one free) for $489, four for $599 and five (three plus two free) for $699, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. Propellers cost $14, a case $27 and a 3-year warranty $9.

Does XPro Drone need to be registered?

In the US, recreational drones of 250 grams or more must be registered with the FAA, and every recreational flyer must pass the free Trust test. The page does not give the weight. Weigh it with its battery and register it if it is 250 grams or more.

Is XPro Drone really 4K?

The page says it takes 4K video and pictures, but does not state the sensor, frame rate or bitrate. Many budget drones record at a lower resolution and upscale. Ask the seller for the native video resolution and frame rate.

How long does XPro Drone fly?

The page says up to 26 minutes. Real flight times are usually shorter, especially in wind or cold, and the checkout does not sell spare batteries, so plan for one flight per charge.

Does XPro Drone have a gimbal?

The page title mentions a remote control gimbal camera but gives no detail. Budget drones often have a one or two-axis gimbal rather than the three-axis gimbal on DJI's Mini models. Ask support which type it has.

Does it return home automatically?

The page says it has one-button return and returns automatically when the battery is low, using GPS. Return-to-home works best when the drone has a strong GPS lock before take-off, and it may not avoid trees or buildings.

Is XPro Drone legit?

It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are missing weight and camera specs, no spare batteries, a five-pack preselected and return postage at your cost.

We may earn a commission if you buy through our links.
