Our verdict
Maybe, if it turns out to be a heat pen, but the page will not tell you. BiteEraser is a small battery pen with a metal tip sold to stop mosquito bite itching without chemicals. Heat-based bite pens have a published study and an FDA-cleared rival, Bite Away, so the idea has some support. But the page never says how BiteEraser works, claims it "dissolves" mosquito compounds with no evidence, and shows a pen labelled with another brand. BiteEraser scores 3.9 out of 10, held back by an unexplained method and claims.
The short version
- What it is: a pocket pen with a contact tip, pressed against insect bites to ease itching.
- Price: $59 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $149 flagged as the best seller.
- Best trait: chemical-free and easy to carry.
- Biggest drawback: the page does not say how it works, and its main claim is unsupported.
- Our score: 3.9 out of 10.
Pros & cons
Bite pens are one of the few gadget categories in this space with some evidence. The cons here are about this listing, which leaves you guessing what you are buying.
What we like
- Chemical-free, so no creams or sprays on the skin
- Small pen with one button, easy to carry on walks and holidays
- Heat-based bite pens have a published study and an FDA-cleared rival
- Can be used on bites from mosquitoes and other insects, according to the photos
- The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number
What we don't
- The page never says whether it uses heat or another method
- 'Dissolves mosquito injected compound' has no evidence on the page
- The pen in the photos is labelled Bite Help and BiteHelper, another brand
- AA battery operation and a stainless steel tip are sold as add-ons
- 'Safe for everyone, children included' needs care if the tip heats
- Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works
You press the pen's round tip against a bite and press a button. The BiteEraser page does not explain what happens next. Bite pens on the market work in one of two ways: heat pens warm a small ceramic or metal tip for a few seconds, and click pens give a small piezo-electric spark. The photos show a metal-tipped pen and an AA battery add-on, which fits the heat pen design, since click pens do not need batteries.

Press the tip to the bite
Step 1: Hold the pen's round tip against the bite as soon as possible after you notice it.
Press the button
Step 2: Press the single button. Pens of this design usually heat the tip briefly. The BiteEraser page does not say what the pen does.
Wait for the itch to ease
Step 3: Heat pens aim to reduce itching and swelling for a while. Do not hold it on longer than the instructions say, and stop if it feels too hot.
The page title lists "mosquito bite helper, stop bite itching, after mosquito bite remedy, fast mosquito bite remedy, itching stop, chemicals free bite helper". The six bullets promise a chemicals-free instant remedy, instant relief from itching and irritation, safety for everyone including children, use on any part of the body, dissolving the compound mosquitoes inject, and one-button use. It gives no temperature, treatment time, battery or age guidance.
Another brand on the pen
The main image shows a black pen labelled "Bite Help", and the steel tip add-on shows one labelled "BiteHelper". The BiteEraser page does not mention either name. It appears to be another product sold under a new name.
Heat at 50°C
The FDA-cleared Bite Away pen heats a ceramic disc to about 51.5°C for 3 or 6 seconds, according to its 510(k) summary. That temperature is warm enough to feel hot briefly, not to burn healthy skin in that time. Without a temperature for BiteEraser, you cannot compare.
Who it's for
BiteEraser could suit adults who react to mosquito bites and want a cream-free option to keep in a pocket, provided the seller confirms how it works and gives instructions. It is not for severe allergic reactions, and anyone with reduced skin sensation or young children should be cautious.
- Adults who react to mosquito bites and want a cream-free option
- Walkers and campers who want something small in a pocket
- Buyers who confirm with the seller how it works before ordering
People who react badly to bites
Some people get large, itchy welts from mosquito bites. A heat pen used soon after the bite may reduce itching and swelling for a while.
Walkers and campers
A pen in a pocket is easy to carry. So is a small tube of a pharmacy itch cream.
Parents
Children scratch bites until they bleed. A heat pen might help, but children's skin is more sensitive. Test it on yourself and follow the instructions.
Travellers
Travellers to mosquito areas should focus first on preventing bites with repellent, nets and clothing. A pen helps after the fact.
Who should skip it
Skip BiteEraser if you have severe sting allergies, reduced skin sensation, very young children to treat without clear instructions, or want a cleared device with published data.
- Anyone with a severe allergic reaction to stings, who needs emergency care and an adrenaline pen
- People with reduced skin sensation, such as from diabetes, if it uses heat
- Young children, unless the instructions and a pharmacist say it is suitable
- Buyers who want a pen with FDA clearance and published data
Do bite relief pens like BiteEraser actually work?
Heat pens have some evidence; BiteEraser's method is not stated. A 2011 study of 146 volunteers who used a concentrated heat device after insect bites and stings found itch, pain and swelling scores fell within minutes. The FDA cleared Bite Away in 2016 for temporary relief of pain and itching by increasing local blood flow. Neither tells you how BiteEraser performs.
What the study found
The study in Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology followed 146 volunteers who used concentrated heat after insect bites. Median itch scores fell from 5 before treatment to 2 after two minutes and 0 after five; pain and swelling also fell. It was a single-arm study with no comparison group, so some improvement may have happened anyway.
What this means for you: heat pens are plausible. Confirm BiteEraser is one before you buy.
What FDA clearance covers
The FDA 510(k) summary for Bite Away, cleared in August 2016, describes a battery device that heats a 9mm ceramic disc to about 51.5°C for 3 or 6 seconds, indicated for temporary relief of pain and itching from insect bites and stings by temporarily increasing local blood flow.
"Dissolves mosquito injected compound"
This bullet claims the pen breaks down what mosquitoes inject. The page gives no evidence. The cleared indication for the heat pen we found is about relief through blood flow, not dissolving saliva.
"Instantly stop itching"
In the heat study, itch scores fell over minutes, not instantly, and it had no control group. "Instant" overstates even the better evidence.
"Safe on any part of the body"
Avoid using heat devices near the eyes, on broken or irritated skin, or on areas with reduced sensation. The page gives no such guidance.
What the sponsored pages say
The pages that rank for BiteEraser are promotional. We found no independent test of this pen.
How much does BiteEraser cost, and what do the add-ons add?
On 6 October 2026, one BiteEraser cost $59, with the five-pack at $149 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered "long operation" with a single AA battery for $7, a stainless steel tip for $14, a car USB charger for $4 and a 3-year warranty for $9. The add-ons describe basic parts of the pen as upgrades.
BiteEraser price and bundles
| Package | Total | Per pen |
|---|---|---|
| 1 BiteEraser | $59 | $59.00 |
| 2 BiteEraser | $89 | $44.50 |
| 3 (buy 2, get 1 free) | $109 | $36.33 |
| 4 BiteEraser | $129 | $32.25 |
| 5 (buy 3, get 2 free), best seller | $149 | $29.80 |
Prices are in US dollars as listed on 6 October 2026. One pen per household is enough. You can check today's packages on the BiteEraser order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab).
Long operation for $7
The add-on switches to "single disposable AA battery for longer using time". Its image shows hands opening the pen and inserting an AA battery. The page does not say what powers the standard pen.

Stainless steel tip for $14
The add-on promises a stainless steel tip "for many years of service and avoid water corrosion". Its image shows a pen labelled BiteHelper with a round metal tip. Ask what the standard tip is.

Car charger and warranty
The $4 car charger does not fit a battery pen's needs. The 3-year warranty costs $9.
The "regular price"
Add-ons are shown against crossed-out prices, with a countdown timer on the page. We found no evidence that BiteEraser sells at a higher regular price. Black bite pens of this style are sold under several names.
Who sells it
The order page names G Com Pte Ltd at 137 Market Street in Singapore, with the email support@g63com.com and a phone number. The footer gives the country as Hong Kong. The page code says charges appear on your card statement as Matrixfze, written in capitals.

Is BiteEraser better than Bite Away or a cream?
Bite Away is the safer bet among pens, with FDA clearance and a stated temperature; a pharmacy cream or antihistamine is the cheap standard option. BiteEraser may work if it is a heat pen, but you cannot tell from the page. Prevention with repellent beats any after-bite remedy.
| Option | How it works | Evidence | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| BiteEraser | Not stated | None on the page | $59 |
| Bite Away | Heat, about 51.5°C for 3 or 6 seconds | FDA-cleared 2016; 146-person study | Varies |
| Itch cream or antihistamine | Reduces itch and allergic response | Standard pharmacy remedies | Low |
| Cold compress | Cools and numbs | Simple first aid | Free |
| Repellent | Prevents bites | Strong for registered repellents | Low |
BiteEraser vs Bite Away
Bite Away has a stated temperature and treatment time, FDA clearance for a specific indication and a published study. That is the clearest case where a rival wins.
BiteEraser vs a cream
A pharmacy itch cream or an oral antihistamine is cheap and familiar. A pharmacist can recommend one suitable for you or your child.
Preventing bites
Repellents, screens and nets prevent bites in the first place. Our Moskitron LED review covers a light trap that does little for mosquitoes, and our MoskiX Band review an ultrasonic band with no good evidence.

Is BiteEraser legit, and what should you check before buying?
BiteEraser is a real product from a named seller, and a pen should arrive if you order. Before buying, ask how it works and at what temperature, whether instructions cover children, switch from the five-pack and skip the add-ons until you know what the standard pen includes.
Ask how it works
What to do: email support@g63com.com and ask whether it uses heat or a spark, the temperature and treatment time, battery type and age guidance. Keep the reply.
Check the selected bundle
The five-pack for $149 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one pen.
Card statement name and memberships
The charge appears as Matrixfze. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.
Refunds and returns
The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost.

How did we score BiteEraser?
BiteEraser scores 3.9 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.6, build durability 0.9, price competitiveness 0.7, usability 1.2 and owner satisfaction 0.5, each out of 2. The bite pen idea has some support. The score falls on an unexplained method, an unsupported dissolving claim, another brand's name on the pen, basic parts sold as add-ons and no independent ratings.
How the score breaks down
We use the five criteria on our how we test page, each out of 2.

|---|---|---|

| Total | 3.9 / 10 |
What owners say
We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for BiteEraser by that name. Owners of heat bite pens on large retail sites often report quick itch relief, while others say it helps little or feels too hot for children.
What we did, and did not, do
Nobody on our team has used BiteEraser. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with the 2011 heat study, the FDA 510(k) summary for Bite Away and the pages that rank for BiteEraser. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.
How to use BiteEraser for the best results
Use it as soon as you notice a bite, hold the tip on the bite for the time the instructions give, and do not repeat it straight away if the skin feels hot. Wash the bite, avoid scratching and use repellent to prevent more bites. Seek urgent help for any sign of a serious allergic reaction.
- Read the instructions. Check the treatment time and age guidance.
- Test on yourself first. Especially before using it on a child.
- Use it early. Soon after the bite for best results with heat pens.
- Hold it steady. Tip flat on the bite, for the stated time only.
- Do not overuse. Give the skin a rest between treatments.
- Avoid sensitive areas. Near eyes, broken skin, numb skin.
- Prevent bites. Repellent, long sleeves and nets.
Signs of a serious reaction
Swelling of the face or throat, difficulty breathing, dizziness or a widespread rash after a sting are emergencies. Call emergency services and use an adrenaline pen if prescribed.
If the itch persists
A pharmacist can suggest an antihistamine or cream. Signs of infection, such as spreading redness, warmth or pus, need medical advice.
Cleaning
Wipe the tip with a damp cloth after use, then dry it.

What else do people ask about bite relief pens?
Most questions are about whether they work on all bites, whether they hurt and whether they suit children. Heat pens are used on mosquito, bee and wasp stings among others, they feel hot for a few seconds, and children need care and clear instructions. Prevention remains the best approach.
Do bite pens work on bee stings?
Bite Away is cleared for bites and stings, including bees and wasps. Remove a bee sting first. BiteEraser's photos show various insects but the page gives no detail.
Does it hurt?
Heat pens feel hot for a few seconds. Some people find it uncomfortable.
How long does relief last?
The study measured relief over minutes. Itch may return later; repeat as the instructions allow.
Can I use it on pets?
The page does not say. Ask a vet about insect bites on pets.
Frequently asked questions
Does BiteEraser work?
The page offers no evidence and does not say how it works. Heat-based bite pens do have some evidence: a study of 146 volunteers using concentrated heat after insect bites found itch, pain and swelling scores fell within minutes. If BiteEraser uses heat, it may help similarly, but nothing on the page confirms it.
How do bite relief pens work?
Heat pens apply brief localised heat, around 50°C on FDA-cleared Bite Away, to the bite. The cleared indication is temporary relief of pain and itching by increasing local blood flow. Some other pens use small electric clicks. BiteEraser does not say which method it uses.
How much does BiteEraser cost?
On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one BiteEraser for $59, two for $89, three (two plus one free) for $109, four for $129 and five (three plus two free) for $149, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. AA battery operation cost $7, a stainless steel tip $14 and a 3-year warranty $9.
Is BiteEraser safe for children?
The page says it is safe for everyone, children included, but gives no instructions or temperature. Children's skin is more sensitive to heat. Follow the device's instructions, test on yourself first, and ask a pharmacist if unsure.
Does it 'dissolve' mosquito saliva?
The page claims it dissolves the compound injected by mosquitoes, with no evidence. The FDA-cleared heat pen we found is indicated for temporary relief by increasing local blood flow, not for breaking down saliva.
What else helps mosquito bite itching?
Washing the bite, a cold compress, avoiding scratching, and pharmacy options such as an antihistamine or a mild hydrocortisone cream, if suitable for you. A pharmacist can advise.
Is BiteEraser legit?
It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are the unexplained method, an unsupported dissolving claim, another brand's name on the pen, basic features sold as add-ons and return postage at your cost.
