CoolSwing Review: A $79 Swinging Desk Fan Sold as an Air Cooler

A round air-circulator desk fan that swings side to side, with a night light and battery as add-ons. Pleasant, but with no water or ice, it cools you, not the air.

Swinging desk fan

Quick answer

A nice fan, sold under the wrong name. CoolSwing is a round air-circulator desk fan with a tilting head and an automatic side-to-side swing, and that design pushes a stronger, more focused breeze than a basic desk fan.

Our verdict

A nice fan, sold under the wrong name. CoolSwing is a round air-circulator desk fan with a tilting head and an automatic side-to-side swing, and that design pushes a stronger, more focused breeze than a basic desk fan. But it is sold as an "air cooler" while having no water, ice or cooling pad, the cordless battery version is $14 extra, and there are no speed, noise or power figures. Plain oscillating desk fans cost much less. CoolSwing scores 3.3 out of 10, held back by its label and price.

The short version

  • What it is: a swinging air-circulator desk fan with a tilting head.
  • Price: $79 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $197 flagged as the best seller.
  • Best trait: a strong, spreading breeze with no water to manage.
  • Biggest drawback: called an air cooler, priced like one, but it is a fan.
  • Our score: 3.3 out of 10.

Pros & cons

The pros reflect a well-designed fan. The cons reflect what it is sold as and what it costs.

What we like

  • Air-circulator design with a large aperture for a strong, focused breeze
  • Built-in swing spreads air across a desk
  • Tilting head and compact, modern look
  • No water to refill or clean
  • The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number

What we don't

  • Sold as an air cooler, but it is a fan with no cooling element
  • The 6,000 mAh battery version is a $14 add-on; the standard needs a cable
  • No speeds, noise, swing angle or power figures
  • Plain desk fans with oscillation cost much less
  • Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works

CoolSwing is an air circulator: a fan inside a round, deep housing with a spiral grille that focuses air into a tighter column, so the breeze carries further than from a flat fan. A motor in the base swings the head from side to side, and the head tilts up or down. Buttons on the base control speed, swing and, with the add-on, a night light.

  1. Plug in or charge

Step 1: Connect to USB power, or charge the battery version first.

  2. Choose speed and swing

Step 2: Use the base buttons to set the speed and switch on the side-to-side swing.

  3. Tilt and aim

Step 3: Tilt the round head towards where you sit.

The page title calls it the "Finest Desktop Air Cooler", "Personal Air Cooler", "Air Cooler With Swinging" and "Powerful Personal Air Cooler", under "The Perfect Desktop Air Cooler With Big Air Blow Apperture". The six bullets promise abundant airflow from a large aperture, a "silent and potent" fan, a round design for better airflow, help "on the hottest days", swinging and a fashionable look.

What the page leaves out

Speeds, swing angle, noise, power draw, power source for the standard version, timer and size.

Unlike this checkout's FreshBreeze or AirCooly, CoolSwing has no water at all.

  • Anyone hoping to cool a room or lower the temperature
  • Buyers looking for the cheapest oscillating fan
  • People who need a stated noise level for bedrooms

Does CoolSwing cool the air "on the hottest days"?

No fan cools the air; it cools you. The US Department of Energy explains that circulating fans create a wind chill effect that makes people feel more comfortable, and that fans cool people, not rooms, so they should be turned off when you leave. On very hot days, a fan helps, but it cannot replace air conditioning.

What the DOE says

The DOE's guide to fans for cooling also notes that fans let you set air conditioning a few degrees higher without losing comfort.

What this means for you: use it with air conditioning to save energy, or on its own on warm days.

"Large Leaf Fan For Silent And Potent Air Blow"

No decibel figure is given. Air circulators get louder at higher speeds.

"Big Air Blow Apperture"

The deep, round housing does focus airflow, a genuine design strength.

Is CoolSwing better than this checkout's misting coolers or a plain desk fan?

It is a better fan than most of them, and a worse deal than a plain fan. Without water, it skips the mould and mineral-dust upkeep of AirCooly, CoolSpot and FreshBreeze, and an air-circulator head moves air well. But plain oscillating desk fans from general retailers do the same basic job for less.

CoolSwing vs LeaflessCool Air

Our LeaflessCool Air review covers a bladeless fan with mist; CoolSwing is simpler and needs no water care.

CoolSwing vs FreshBreeze

Our FreshBreeze review covers a wet-filter cube that helps more in dry heat but needs cleaning.

Where a rival wins

A plain oscillating desk fan gives most of the comfort for far less.

Is CoolSwing legit, and what should you check before buying?

CoolSwing is a real fan from a named seller, and it should arrive if you order. Before buying, ask for speeds, noise and power source, switch from the five-pack and note the card statement name.

Ask for specs

What to do: email support@g63com.com for speeds, swing angle, noise level and the standard version's power source. Keep the reply.

Check the selected bundle

The five-pack for $197 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one fan.

Card statement name and memberships

The charge appears as drone720x.com. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.

Refunds and returns

The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost.

What owners say

We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for CoolSwing by that name. Owners of similar desk air circulators like the strong breeze and compact size, and complain about noise at top speed and short battery life on cordless versions.

What we did, and did not, do

Nobody on our team has used CoolSwing. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with DOE fan guidance and the pages that rank for CoolSwing. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.

How to use CoolSwing to stay cooler for less

Aim it at where you sit, use the swing to cover a wider desk, and run it alongside air conditioning set a few degrees higher. Switch it off when you leave the room, keep the grille free of dust, and use the lowest speed that keeps you comfortable.

  1. Aim at yourself. Fans cool people.
  2. Swing for wider coverage. Two people at one desk.
  3. Pair with air conditioning. Set the thermostat a little higher.
  4. Off when you leave. No one to cool.
  5. Lowest comfortable speed. Quieter and longer battery life.
  6. Dust the grille. Monthly.
  7. Keep cables tidy. Away from the swing path.

At night

Use the night light and a low speed, without the swing, for less noise.

Cordless use

Charge the battery version fully before taking it outdoors.

What else do people ask about desk air circulators?

Most questions are about ice, power use and noise. Fans without tanks cannot use ice, small fans use little power, and noise rises with speed. Browse our household gadget reviews for more.

Can I put ice in it?

No, there is no tank.

Does it use much electricity?

Small USB fans use little; the page gives no figure.

Is it loud?

Quiet at low speed, louder at high; no figure is given.

Can it run from a power bank?

The standard USB version likely can; ask the seller.

Frequently asked questions

How much does CoolSwing cost?

On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one CoolSwing for $79, two for $119, three (two plus one free) for $137, four for $179 and five (three plus two free) for $197, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. A night light cost $4, a battery version $14 and a 3-year warranty $7.

Is CoolSwing an air cooler?

No. The photos show a fan with no water tank, ice compartment or cooling pad. Fans cool people through a wind chill effect; they do not lower room temperature.

Does CoolSwing have a battery?

Only the $14 'Battery Version', which the page says has a 6,000 mAh battery that lasts hours on a charge. The standard model presumably runs from USB.

Does it swing automatically?

Yes, the page lists a built-in swinging function. It does not give the swing angle.

Should I leave it running when I leave the room?

No. The US Department of Energy notes that fans cool people, not rooms, so switch them off when no one is there.

Is it quiet?

The page says 'silent and potent', but gives no decibel figure. Air circulators get louder at higher speeds.

Is CoolSwing legit?

It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are 'air cooler' wording for a fan, the battery sold separately, no specs and return postage at your cost.
