Quick answer
Worth considering only as a spot heater for one person, and only once you know its wattage. EcoThermal is a cute round PTC ceramic fan heater with a single button, and PTC elements do heat up almost instantly, which is pleasant for cold hands at a desk.

Our verdict
Worth considering only as a spot heater for one person, and only once you know its wattage. EcoThermal is a cute round PTC ceramic fan heater with a single button, and PTC elements do heat up almost instantly, which is pleasant for cold hands at a desk. But the page gives no wattage, shows no UL or ETL certification, and leans on "economic" and "low power consumption", when every electric heater turns the same power into the same heat. A better element and fan are sold as upgrades. EcoThermal scores 3.2 out of 10, held back by missing specs.
The short version
- What it is: a small round PTC ceramic fan heater for desks and floors.
- Price: $67 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $196 flagged as the best seller.
- Best trait: instant, directed warmth at a desk.
- Biggest drawback: no wattage or safety certification shown.
- Our score: 3.2 out of 10.
Pros & cons
The pros come from the PTC heater design, which is common and works. The cons are about missing numbers, marketing and upsells.
What we like
- PTC ceramic element warms up within seconds
- Compact round design that sits on a desk or the floor
- One-button operation
- The page lists "multiple anti-accident protection"
- The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number
What we don't
- No wattage, so you cannot judge heat output or running cost
- "Low power consumption" and "economic" are not true savings: electric heaters turn the same power into the same heat
- No safety certification such as a UL or ETL mark is shown
- A 'next generation' heating element and a brushless fan motor are $9 and $4 upgrades
- Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works
Inside the round body, a PTC (positive temperature coefficient) ceramic element heats up when current flows. As it gets hotter, its resistance rises and the current falls, so it settles at a steady temperature rather than glowing red. A small fan behind it blows air across the element and out of the front grille. A blue button on top switches it on.

Place it on a hard, clear surface
Step 1: Stand it on a desk or floor at least three feet from curtains, bedding and paper, plugged straight into a wall socket.
Press the button
Step 2: The PTC ceramic element heats in seconds and a small fan pushes warm air forward.
Point it at you
Step 3: Aim it at your legs or hands; it heats the person in front of it far better than a whole room.
The page title calls it an "Eco Portable Heater", "Low Power Consumption Heater", "Personal Desktop Heater", "Economic Portable Heater" and "Mini Room Heater". The six bullets promise instant warming, low power technology, a long-life ceramic element, PTC constant heating, "multiple anti-accident protection" and single-button operation.
What the page leaves out
There is no wattage, voltage, heat settings, thermostat, tip-over switch, overheat cut-off, cable length, noise level or certification mark.
Three heaters, one idea
Our WarmAIR review covers a plug-in ceramic heater from the same checkout, and our EcoHeat S review one with 600 and 1,200 watt settings and a tip-over switch. EcoThermal is the desktop-shaped version of the same idea.
Who it's for
EcoThermal suits desk workers with cold hands or feet, and anyone who wants quick warmth while sitting in one place. It is not a room heater, and it should never run unattended.
- Desk workers with cold hands or feet in a chilly office
- People who want quick spot heat while sitting in one place
- Anyone heating a small space for short periods
Cold offices
Pointed at your legs under a desk, a small fan heater makes a chilly office bearable.
Short warm-ups
Switch it on while you dress or sit down to read, then off.
Small spaces
A tiny, enclosed space warms faster than an open-plan room.
Who should skip it
Skip EcoThermal if you want to heat a whole room, need a certified heater with a stated wattage, plan to run it overnight, or hope to lower your heating bills.
- Anyone wanting to heat a whole room or a large space
- People who want a certified heater with stated wattage
- Anyone planning to run it overnight or unattended
- Buyers looking for lower heating bills
Does EcoThermal really save energy, and is it safe?
It saves money only if you heat yourself instead of the whole home, and its safety features are not spelled out. The US Department of Energy says electric resistance heaters convert nearly all their electricity into heat, so no electric heater is more "economic" than another of the same wattage. The DOE also advises choosing a heater with a UL label, which the page does not show.
"Low Power Consumption Technology"
Lower power means less heat, not more heat per watt. The DOE's small space heaters guide explains that space heaters can cost less to use only when you heat one room or supplement heating in one room.
What this means for you: the saving comes from turning the thermostat down elsewhere, not from the heater.
"Equipped With Multiple Anti-Accident Protection"
The page does not say which protections. What to do: ask the seller whether it has tip-over and overheat shut-off and a UL, ETL or CE certification, and check the label on arrival.
Space heater fires
PIRG's space heater safety guidance reports about 1,700 fires and 80 deaths a year linked to space heaters in the US. It advises a three-foot clear zone, plugging directly into a wall outlet and switching heaters off when you leave or sleep.
The bedroom image
One add-on image shows the heater glowing beside a bed at night. Use it to warm up, then switch it off before sleep.

How much does EcoThermal cost, and are the upgrades worth it?
On 6 October 2026, one EcoThermal cost $67, with the five-pack at $196 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered a brushless fan motor for $4, a "next generation" heating element upgrade for $9, a car USB charger adapter for $4 and a 3-year warranty for $7. Branded ceramic heaters with stated wattage and tip-over protection are widely sold for less.
EcoThermal price and bundles
| Package | Total | Per heater |
|---|---|---|
| 1 EcoThermal | $67 | $67.00 |
| 2 EcoThermal | $97 | $48.50 |
| 3 (buy 2, get 1 free) | $134 | $44.67 |
| 4 EcoThermal | $169 | $42.25 |
| 5 (buy 3, get 2 free), best seller | $196 | $39.20 |
Prices are in US dollars as listed on 6 October 2026. You can check today's packages on the EcoThermal order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab).
Heating element upgrade
For $9, "the next generation of heating elements upgrade for an enhanced performance". The image shows a glowing PTC element labelled "heating speed increase" and "366 PTC". With no wattage for either version, you cannot tell what changes.

Brushless motor
For $4, a fan motor that is "longer living". Brushless fans do tend to last longer and run quieter. The image shows the heater by a bed rather than a motor.
Car adapter and warranty
A $4 car USB charger adapter is unrelated: a mains heater cannot run from a car's USB socket. The 3-year warranty costs $7.
Who sells it
The order page names G Com Pte Ltd at 137 Market Street in Singapore, with the email support@g63com.com and a phone number. The footer gives the country as Hong Kong. The page code says charges appear on your card statement as panameedia.

Is EcoThermal better than WarmAIR, EcoHeat S or a branded heater?
Choose by stated specs, and EcoThermal states the fewest. EcoHeat S at least lists 600 and 1,200 watt settings, a thermostat and tip-over shut-off. WarmAIR plugs into the wall with no cable. A branded ceramic heater with a UL or ETL mark, a thermostat and tip-over protection usually beats all three on value and proof.
| Heater | Wattage stated | Safety stated | Shape | Price seen |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EcoThermal | No | "Anti-accident", unnamed | Round desktop | $67 |
| WarmAIR | 500 W on box | No | Wall plug | $59 |
| EcoHeat S | 600 / 1,200 W | Tip-over, thermostat | Compact | $89 |
| Branded ceramic heater | Yes | Usually UL or ETL, tip-over | Varies | Often less |
Choose EcoThermal if
You like the round desktop look and only need warm hands at a desk.
Choose a branded certified heater if
You want a known wattage, a thermostat and a certification mark you can check. Walmart's Lasko listing is one example: a 1500 W ceramic heater with tip-over protection. That is where a rival wins.
For the rest of the year
Our AirMoisturize Max review covers a USB humidifier, useful when heating dries the air.

Is EcoThermal legit, and what should you check before buying?
EcoThermal is a real heater from a named seller, and it should arrive if you order. Before buying, ask for the wattage, safety features and certification, switch from the five-pack and note the card statement name.
Ask for wattage and certification
What to do: email support@g63com.com for the wattage, voltage, protections and any UL, ETL or CE mark. Keep the reply.
Check the plug and voltage
Heaters made for 220 to 240 V will not work properly on 120 V US sockets, and vice versa. Confirm the version shipped to your country.
Check the selected bundle
The five-pack for $196 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one heater.
Card statement name and memberships
The charge appears as panameedia. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.
Refunds and returns
The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost.
How to buy EcoThermal the smart way

EcoThermal scores 3.2 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.5, build durability 0.7, price competitiveness 0.4, usability 1.2 and owner satisfaction 0.4, each out of 2. The PTC design gives quick, directed warmth. The score falls on no wattage or certification shown, "economic" marketing, unnamed safety protections and two upgrades sold separately.
How the score breaks down
We use the five criteria on our how we test page, each out of 2.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Claim accuracy | 0.5 / 2 | "Economic" and unnamed protections |
| Build durability | 0.7 / 2 | PTC elements last; no specs |
| Price competitiveness | 0.4 / 2 | Above certified branded heaters |

| Owner satisfaction | 0.4 / 2 | No independent ratings for this listing |
| Total | 3.2 / 10 |
What owners say
We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for EcoThermal by that name. Owners of similar mini desk heaters like the quick warmth on their legs, and complain that they do little for a whole room, the fan hums, and the casing gets warm.
What we did, and did not, do
Nobody on our team has used EcoThermal. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with DOE and PIRG guidance and the pages that rank for EcoThermal. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.
How to use EcoThermal safely and efficiently
Plug it straight into a wall socket, stand it on a hard, level surface three feet from anything that can burn, and point it at yourself rather than the room. Turn it off whenever you leave or go to sleep, check the label for wattage and certification, and use it so you can turn the main heating down.
- Wall socket only. No extension leads or power strips.
- Three-foot clear zone. Away from curtains, bedding and paper.
- Hard, level surface. Not on rugs or beds.
- Aim at yourself. Spot heat is its strength.
- Off when you leave or sleep. Every time.
- Check the label. Note the wattage and any safety mark.
- Turn the main heating down. That is where savings come from.
Running cost
Multiply the wattage on the label by hours of use and your electricity rate. A 500-watt heater uses 0.5 kWh an hour.
Cleaning
Unplug it and vacuum dust from the grille; dust on elements can smell when heated.

What else do people ask about mini desk heaters?
Most questions are about noise, smell and smoke alarms. Small fan heaters hum, a new element can smell for the first few uses, and dust burning off can occasionally trip a sensitive alarm. Browse our household gadget reviews for more.
Is it noisy?
Fan heaters hum quietly. The page gives no decibel figure.
Why does it smell at first?
New elements and dust burn off. If a smell persists, stop using it.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
No. Keep plug-in heaters away from water unless rated for it.
Can children use it?
Only with supervision; grilles get warm.
Frequently asked questions
How much does EcoThermal cost?
On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one EcoThermal for $67, two for $97, three (two plus one free) for $134, four for $169 and five (three plus two free) for $196, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. A brushless motor cost $4, a heating element upgrade $9 and a 3-year warranty $7.
Does EcoThermal save money on heating?
Only if it lets you turn down central heating and warm just yourself. The DOE notes that electric resistance heaters convert nearly all their electricity into heat, so every electric heater of the same wattage gives the same heat for the same cost. 'Low power' simply means less heat.
How many watts is EcoThermal?
The page does not say. Without a wattage, you cannot estimate running cost or heat output. Check the rating label on arrival and ask the seller before ordering.
Is EcoThermal safe?
The page lists 'multiple anti-accident protection' without naming tip-over or overheat cut-offs, and shows no UL or ETL mark. The DOE advises choosing a heater with a UL label. Keep it three feet from anything flammable and never leave it running unattended.
Can EcoThermal heat a room?
Probably not a typical room. Small fan heaters like this warm the person in front of them. For a whole room, a thermostat-controlled heater sized for the space, or an oil-filled radiator, is a better fit.
Is it safe to use in a bedroom overnight?
No portable heater should run while you sleep. PIRG advises turning space heaters off when you leave the room or go to bed. Use it to warm up, then switch it off.
Is EcoThermal legit?
It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are no wattage, no safety certification shown, economic claims, paid upgrades and return postage at your cost.
