LightX Pro Review: A $49 Wide-Beam Headlamp With Its Own Features Sold as Extras

A headband with a long LED strip and a spotlight for hands-free light. Wide-beam headlamps are genuinely handy, but USB charging and the wave sensor in the photos cost extra.

Our verdict

A useful design, sold in pieces. LightX Pro is a COB LED strip headlamp that throws a wide, even beam plus a separate spotlight, ideal for car repairs, camping and walking the dog. But the USB cable and wave sensor shown in the main photo are both add-ons, the page gives no lumens, run time or water rating, and similar headlamps cost far less. LightX Pro scores 3.5 out of 10, held back by price and paid extras.

The short version

  • What it is: a headband with a 230° LED strip and a front spotlight.
  • Price: $49 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $135 flagged as the best seller.
  • Best trait: wide, hands-free light for close work.
  • Biggest drawback: charging and sensor sold extra, and no specs.
  • Our score: 3.5 out of 10.

Pros & cons

COB strip headlamps are one of the more practical gadgets around. The pros reflect that. The cons are about what you pay extra for and missing figures.

What we like

  • A long flexible LED strip lights a wide area, good for close work
  • A separate spotlight for distance
  • Hands-free for car repairs, camping, fishing and DIY
  • Light, adjustable headband
  • The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number

What we don't

  • USB charging, shown with a cable in the main photo, is a $4 'rechargeable version' add-on
  • The wave-to-switch sensor, also in the main photo, is a $9 add-on
  • No lumens, run time, beam distance or water rating given
  • 'Waterproof, use under any conditions' is unproven without an IP rating
  • At $49, it costs several times similar COB headlamps
  • Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works

LightX Pro is a flexible silicone band with a long strip of COB (chip-on-board) LEDs across the front, giving a broad, even wash of light, and a small control unit with a spotlight for distance. Buttons switch between modes and brightness levels. With the sensor add-on, a wave of the hand switches it on and off.

The headlamp, cable and two light modes. Image: LightX
  1. Power it

Step 1: Charge the rechargeable version by USB, or fit batteries in the standard version.

  2. Adjust the band

Step 2: Put the band around your head and tighten it so the light sits level on your forehead.

  3. Choose a mode

Step 3: Press the buttons to switch between the wide strip, the spotlight and brightness levels.

The page title calls it an "ultra-bright LED headlight", "waterproof headlamp", "fishing headlight", "hiking headlight", "car fixing headlamp" and "smart camping headlight". The six bullets promise 230° projection, "high power ultra-bright light", waterproof use "under any conditions", flexible long-life LED strip technology, an ergonomic band and use for car repair, camping, fishing and hiking.

What the page leaves out

There is no lumen output, run time, beam distance, battery capacity or IP rating.

Branding

The rechargeable add-on image shows a headlamp printed "Lotorasia", a brand sold on large marketplaces.

Who it's for

LightX Pro suits DIYers and mechanics, campers and anglers, and runners and dog walkers who want hands-free light. It is less suited to long-distance hiking or anyone needing certified waterproofing. Our TacticalX Flashlight review covers a handheld torch from the same checkout.

  • DIYers and mechanics working under cars or in cupboards
  • Campers and anglers who want wide, hands-free light
  • Runners and dog walkers who want to see and be seen

Car and DIY work

Wide light fills an engine bay or cupboard without shadows.

Camping

Setting up tents and cooking at night is easier with both hands free.

Evening walks

Wide light shows the path and the sides; the spotlight helps further ahead.

Who should skip it

Skip LightX Pro if you need long-distance beam with stated run times, certified waterproofing, or the lowest price.

  • Hikers needing long-distance beam and stated run times
  • Anyone needing certified waterproofing
  • Buyers who can get a similar headlamp for less

How bright and waterproof is LightX Pro really?

The page does not say, so you cannot compare it. Lights tested to the ANSI FL1 standard publish lumens, beam distance, run time and water resistance in a consistent way. LightX Pro offers "ultra-bright" and "waterproof under any conditions" with no figures or rating.

What ANSI FL1 covers

Safariland's guide to the ANSI FL1 standard explains how light output, beam distance, run time, impact resistance and water resistance are measured and labelled.

What this means for you: ask the seller for lumens, run time and IP rating.

Wide beam versus distance

COB strips light a wide area close by; they do not reach far. The spotlight handles distance.

"Waterproof"

Rain-resistant is likely; submersion is not proven.

Batteries

The standard version's power source is not stated.

How much does LightX Pro cost, and are the add-ons needed?

On 6 October 2026, one LightX Pro cost $49, with the five-pack at $135 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered a rechargeable battery version for $4, an induction sensor for $9, a car USB charger adapter for $4 and a 3-year warranty for $9. The headlamp as pictured, with cable and sensor, costs $62.

Is LightX Pro better than other COB headlamps or a branded headlamp?

No. COB strip headlamps of this design are sold widely, often in packs, for much less, usually rechargeable with sensors included. Branded headlamps from outdoor makers publish ANSI figures and offer warranties.

Is LightX Pro legit, and what should you check before buying?

LightX Pro is a real product from a named seller, and a headlamp should arrive if you order. Before buying, ask what the base version includes and for its specs, add the rechargeable version, switch from the five-pack and note the card statement name.

Ask for specs

What to do: email support@g63com.com and ask for lumens, run time, IP rating, and whether USB charging and the sensor are standard. Keep the reply.

Check the selected bundle

The five-pack for $135 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one headlamp.

Card statement name and memberships

The charge appears as panameedia. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.

Refunds and returns

The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost.

How to buy LightX Pro the smart way

  1. Ask support for specs.
  2. Open the LightX Pro order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and select your country.
  3. Change the five-pack to one headlamp.
  4. Add the rechargeable version; the sensor is optional.
  5. Note the card statement name, panameedia.

How did we score LightX Pro?

LightX Pro scores 3.5 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.6, build durability 0.9, price competitiveness 0.3, usability 1.3 and owner satisfaction 0.4, each out of 2. The COB strip design is practical and comfortable. The score falls on charging and sensor sold extra despite the photos, no lumens, run time or IP rating, "waterproof under any conditions" and a price several times similar headlamps.

How the score breaks down

We use the five criteria on our how we test page, each out of 2.

What owners say

We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for LightX Pro by that name. Owners of similar COB headlamps tend to love the wide beam for close work, and complain about short run times on high, sensors that trigger by accident and bands that loosen.

What we did, and did not, do

Nobody on our team has used LightX Pro. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with a guide to the ANSI FL1 standard and the pages that rank for LightX Pro. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.

How to use LightX Pro for the best light

Charge it fully, tighten the band so the lamp sits level, and use the wide strip for close work and the spotlight for distance. Use lower brightness to save battery, switch off the sensor when stowing it, and wipe it dry after rain.

  1. Charge fully. Before trips.
  2. Level fit. Not tilted down.
  3. Strip for close work. Spot for distance.
  4. Lower brightness. Longer run time.
  5. Sensor off in bags. Avoid accidental switching.
  6. Wipe after rain. Dry the port.
  7. Carry a spare light. On long hikes.

Around others

Wide beams can dazzle people facing you; tilt the light down.

Storage

Store charged, away from heat.

The page does not say. Ask the seller.

Can children use it?

Yes, at low brightness; avoid shining in eyes.

Frequently asked questions

How bright is LightX Pro?

The page says ultra-bright but gives no lumens, beam distance or run time. Headlamps tested to the ANSI FL1 standard publish these figures, which lets you compare.

How much does LightX Pro cost?

On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one LightX Pro for $49, two for $69, three (two plus one free) for $98, four for $123 and five (three plus two free) for $135, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. A rechargeable version cost $4, an induction sensor $9 and a 3-year warranty $9.

Is LightX Pro rechargeable?

Only with the $4 add-on, according to the checkout, even though the main photo shows a USB cable. Ask the seller what the standard version includes.

What is the 230-degree beam?

A long COB LED strip curves around the front of the band, throwing wide, even light to the sides. It suits close work. The spotlight handles distance.

Is it waterproof?

The page says so but gives no IP rating. Most headlamps of this type handle rain; few are made for submersion.

What does the sensor do?

With the $9 induction sensor, you wave a hand near the lamp to switch it on or off without touching it, handy with dirty or gloved hands.

Is LightX Pro legit?

It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are charging and sensor sold extra despite appearing in the photos, no specs, the price and return postage at your cost.
