Quick answer

A practical camp and barbecue lighter, if you remember it cannot fly. StormFlame Pro is a slim refillable butane lighter with a jet flame, the kind of focused blue torch that keeps burning in wind where ordinary lighters fail, and it has an adjustable flame.

Our verdict

A practical camp and barbecue lighter, if you remember it cannot fly. StormFlame Pro is a slim refillable butane lighter with a jet flame, the kind of focused blue torch that keeps burning in wind where ordinary lighters fail, and it has an adjustable flame. That is genuinely useful outdoors. But the TSA bans torch lighters from both carry-on and checked bags, butane is not included, the zinc alloy body is a $4 upgrade, and similar jet lighters cost less. StormFlame Pro scores 3.9 out of 10, held back by price and missing details.

The short version

  • What it is: a refillable butane jet torch lighter with an adjustable flame.
  • Price: $39 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $99 flagged as the best seller.
  • Best trait: a wind-resistant flame for camping and barbecues.
  • Biggest drawback: banned from flights, and butane is extra.
  • Our score: 3.9 out of 10.

Pros & cons

The pros come from a useful lighter type. The cons come from travel rules and the listing's gaps.

What we like

  • Jet flame resists wind far better than a normal lighter flame
  • Refillable, so you reuse it rather than throwing it away
  • Adjustable flame and a slim metal body, according to the page
  • Handy for camp stoves, barbecues and candles
  • The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number

What we don't

  • Torch lighters are banned from both carry-on and checked bags by the TSA
  • Butane refills are not included or sold on the page
  • The zinc alloy body is a $4 upgrade, so the standard body material is unclear
  • Very hot, focused flame needs care around children and skin
  • Similar jet lighters are widely sold for less
  • Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works

A jet lighter releases butane under pressure through a small nozzle, mixing it with air so it burns as a thin, hot, blue flame. A piezo igniter makes the spark. Because the gas leaves at speed, wind does not easily bend or blow out the flame, unlike the soft yellow flame of a normal lighter. A control adjusts the flame size, and you refill it through a valve in the base.

  1. Fill it with butane

Step 1: Refill through the valve on the base with a butane canister, then wait a few minutes for the gas to settle.

  2. Ignite

Step 2: Slide or press the ignition button; a piezo spark lights a pressurised jet of gas.

  3. Aim the flame

Step 3: Point the small blue jet at the wick, kindling or gas burner; adjust its size with the flame control.

The page title lists "Windproof Lighter For Outdoor Camping", "Refillable Windproof Jet Flame Lighter", "Adjustable Flame Windproof Torch Lighter", "Windproof Metal Body Lighter" and "Windproof Lighter With Safety Lock". The six bullets promise reliable lighting in any condition, refillable design, portability, a durable metal body, adjustable flame and outdoor use.

What the page leaves out

Tank capacity, burn time per fill, body material for the standard version, how the safety lock works and refill instructions.

Is a jet lighter like StormFlame Pro safe, and can you travel with it?

Safe with sensible care; not allowed on flights. The TSA says torch lighters are banned in both carry-on and checked bags, because their thin, needle-like flame reaches about 2,500°F and stays intense at any angle. That heat also means it can burn skin and surfaces quickly, so handle it carefully and keep it away from children.

The TSA rule

The TSA's guidance on torch lighters explains why they are prohibited.

What this means for you: pack a matchbook or buy a lighter at your destination.

"Windproof Flame Ensures Reliable Lighting In Any Condition"

Jet flames handle wind well; heavy rain and very cold weather can still affect butane lighters.

"Windproof Lighter With Safety Lock"

What to do: ask how the lock works before buying, and store it out of children's reach.

Is StormFlame Pro better than a regular lighter, a ferro rod or matches?

For wind, yes; for reliability in all conditions, carry a backup. A jet lighter beats a regular lighter in wind. A ferro rod sparks when wet and needs no fuel, which is why survival kits carry one. Waterproof matches are cheap and allowed on planes in limited amounts.

Is StormFlame Pro legit, and what should you check before buying?

StormFlame Pro is a real lighter from a named seller, and it should arrive if you order. Before buying, ask about the body material, safety lock and refill valve, buy butane separately, switch from the five-pack and note the card statement name.

Ask the key questions

What to do: email support@g63com.com for the standard body material, how the safety lock works and the refill valve type. Keep the reply.

Check the selected bundle

The five-pack for $99 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to the lighters you need.

Card statement name and memberships

The charge appears as panameedia. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.

Refunds and returns

The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost. Lighters may have shipping restrictions for returns.

How to buy StormFlame Pro the smart way

  1. Ask support about the body and lock.
  2. Open the StormFlame Pro order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and select your country.
  3. Change the five-pack to what you need.
  4. Add the zinc alloy body; skip the flashlight and car adapter.
  5. Note the card statement name, panameedia.

How did we score StormFlame Pro?

It is a practical, refillable wind-resistant lighter. The score falls on "any condition" wording, no butane or refill details, an unclear standard body and a price above similar jet lighters.

What owners say

We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for StormFlame Pro by that name. Owners of similar jet lighters like the strong flame in wind, and complain about small fuel tanks, igniters that wear out and leaks after refilling with poor-quality butane.

What we did, and did not, do

Nobody on our team has used StormFlame Pro. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with the TSA's torch lighter guidance and the pages that rank for StormFlame Pro. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.

How to use StormFlame Pro safely

Refill with good-quality butane, let it settle before lighting, and keep the flame pointed away from you. Use the lowest flame that does the job, let the head cool after use, and store it locked, upright and away from children and heat.

  1. Quality butane. Cheap gas can clog the jet.
  2. Purge before refilling. Release leftover gas, as the manual describes.
  3. Wait after refilling. A few minutes for the gas to settle.
  4. Point it away. From your face and hands.
  5. Short bursts. The head gets very hot.
  6. Lock and store safely. Out of children's reach.
  7. Never fly with it. Torch lighters are banned.

In the cold

Keep it in an inside pocket; cold butane lights poorly.

If it will not light

Check fuel, then clean the nozzle with a puff of air.

What else do people ask about jet lighters?

Most questions are about refills, flights and cold weather. Most take standard butane, they cannot go on planes, and cold weather weakens butane pressure. Browse our tactical gear reviews for more.

How often do I need to refill?

Depends on tank size, which is not stated.

Can I post it?

Shipping lighters has restrictions; check with your carrier.

Does it work at altitude?

Butane lighters can struggle at high altitude and in cold.

Can I adjust the flame?

Yes, the page lists adjustable flame control.

Frequently asked questions

How much does StormFlame Pro cost?

On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one StormFlame Pro for $39, two for $59, three (two plus one free) for $79, four for $89 and five (three plus two free) for $99, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. A zinc alloy body cost $4, a tactical flashlight $29 and a 3-year warranty $5.

Can I take StormFlame Pro on a plane?

No. The TSA says torch lighters are not allowed in carry-on or checked bags, because their thin flame reaches about 2,500°F and stays strong at any angle.

Is it windproof?

Jet lighters push a pressurised stream of burning gas, so wind affects them far less than a soft yellow flame. Very strong gusts can still blow one out.

What fuel does it use?

Butane, which the page does not include or sell. Use a good-quality butane canister with a nozzle that fits the refill valve.

Does it have a safety lock?

The title mentions a safety lock, and the upgrade photo shows a slider on the side. Ask the seller how it locks, and keep it away from children.

Can I use it to light a cigar or candle?

Yes, jet flames are often used for both. Keep the jet short for candles to avoid scorching the jar.

Is StormFlame Pro legit?

It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are no butane included, an unclear standard body material, cheaper look-alikes and return postage at your cost.
