Our verdict
Only if you like the look and want a finer spray from a handheld shower, not for any health or filtering benefit. IOnic Spa Shower is a clear handheld head filled with mineral beads, with small holes that can make a low-pressure shower feel stronger. But its claims about fatigue, flaky skin, hydration and cell regeneration are unsupported, no filter certification is shown, and the three spray modes and hose are sold separately. At $79 it costs far more than most handheld heads. IOnic Spa Shower scores 3.7 out of 10, held back by health claims and price.
The short version
- What it is: a handheld shower head with a clear handle of mineral beads and a small-hole spray face.
- Price: $79 for one on 4 October 2026, with a five-pack for $197 preselected. Delivery was listed as free.
- Best trait: a finer, faster spray that can feel stronger on low pressure.
- Biggest drawback: skin and purification claims with no evidence or certification.
- Our score: 3.7 out of 10.
Pros & cons
The pros are about the spray and the look. The cons are about the health claims and what you pay extra for.
What we like
- Screws onto a standard handheld shower hose without tools, according to the page
- Small spray holes can make a low-pressure shower feel stronger
- Clear handle with coloured beads looks distinctive
- Replacement bead packs are available
- Free delivery, and the seller names a registered company with a Singapore address
What we don't
- Claims about fatigue, flaky skin, hydration and cell regeneration have no evidence on the page
- No NSF/ANSI 177 or other filter certification shown for its purifying claims
- The 3 massage modes from its own title are sold as a $9 add-on, and the hose as a $7 add-on
- Smaller holes raise spray force, not water flow, and the page gives no flow rate
- At $79, it costs far more than many handheld shower heads
- Refunds need a returns number first, and you pay return postage to an overseas seller

How it works
IOnic Spa Shower is a handheld shower head with a hollow clear handle. Water from your hose passes through a cartridge of coloured beads inside the handle, then out through a face with many small holes. The small holes speed the water up, producing a fine, forceful spray.
Screw it onto your hose
Step 1: Unscrew your existing handheld shower head and screw IOnic Spa onto the hose in its place, with the washer seated correctly.
Water passes through the beads
Step 2: Water flows through the clear handle, which is packed with coloured mineral beads, before reaching the spray face.
Small holes shape the spray
Step 3: Many small holes in the face create a fine, fast spray that can feel stronger than a standard head, especially on low pressure.
Who it's for
IOnic Spa Shower suits someone with a handheld shower who wants a different look and a finer spray, particularly with low water pressure, and who does not expect any health benefit from the beads. It does not suit people hoping to help a skin condition or reduce chlorine reliably.
- People with a handheld shower who want a different-looking head with a finer spray
- Homes with low water pressure where a small-hole head may feel stronger
- Buyers who like the look of the beads and accept the health claims are unproven
Why IOnic Spa Shower appeals
A shower is a daily ritual, and the idea of turning it into a "spa shower experience" is appealing. The page promises warm steam and spray that envelop you, easy installation, eco-friendly laser-cut holes for luxurious high pressure while saving water, ionic mineral bio stones that purify, filter and soften water for smooth skin, a solid and beautiful design, and ion minerals that reduce fatigue, eliminate flaky skin, improve hydration and support cell regeneration.
The product photos show a clear handle packed with orange beads, close-ups of a fine spray face and a pile of beads. It looks clean, colourful and different from a plain chrome head.
Who gets the most value
People with weak water pressure, often in older homes or upstairs bathrooms, may notice the biggest difference. A head with smaller holes can make the same water feel sharper. If that is your problem, the spray design may help, though cheaper small-hole heads do the same.
People with dry or sensitive skin
Dry, itchy skin after showers is common, especially in hard water areas and winter. The page's claims are aimed squarely at this. Unfortunately, there is no evidence that mineral beads in a shower head change skin hydration. Shorter, cooler showers, gentle cleansers and moisturiser straight after showering are the steps dermatologists commonly advise.
People with hard water
In hard water areas, scale builds up on shower heads and screens, and some people find their skin and hair feel drier. The page promises softer water, but a bead cartridge cannot remove the calcium and magnesium that make water hard. Regular descaling of the head and a good moisturiser are the practical steps if you do not want a whole-house softener.
People worried about chlorine
Some people dislike the smell of chlorine in tap water or feel it dries their skin. A certified shower filter may reduce free chlorine. IOnic Spa shows no certification. Our NUUD showerhead review covers a filtered shower head and explains the difference between chlorine and chloramine, which many filters struggle with.
Renters
Swapping a handheld shower head is usually allowed in rented homes, because it screws on and off without tools and leaves no trace. Keep the original head in its box and refit it before you move out. If something leaks, you can switch back at once.
Gift buyers
Bead-filled shower heads look attractive in gift boxes and photos. If you give one, avoid suggesting it will improve the recipient's skin or health. Framed as a nicer-looking spray for a handheld shower, it is a modest, practical gift; framed as a skincare tool, it sets expectations it cannot meet.
Families with children
The clear handle and colourful beads appeal to children. Check the handle is sealed and the beads cannot escape, since small beads are a choking hazard for young children. A cracked handle should be replaced straight away.
Who should skip it
Skip IOnic Spa Shower if you hope it will treat a skin condition, need certified chlorine reduction, have a fixed overhead shower or want a good-value handheld head.
- Anyone with eczema, psoriasis or other skin conditions hoping it will treat them
- People who want certified chlorine reduction, who should look for NSF/ANSI 177 certification
- Homes with fixed overhead showers and no handheld hose
- Price-conscious buyers, since many handheld heads cost far less
Do mineral beads in a shower head do anything?
There is no evidence on the page, and we found no independent studies, showing that shower bead cartridges reduce fatigue, eliminate flaky skin, improve hydration or regenerate cells. Water passes through them for a fraction of a second. Without certification to a recognised standard, such as NSF/ANSI 177 for chlorine reduction, there is no way to know whether they remove anything at all. The beads mainly change how the head looks.

What the offer page claims
The headline describes "IOnic Spa Shower, ionic shower head handheld, 3-way function, filter bead replacement, 200% high pressure, water saving". The six bullets are: spa shower experience from your home, envelops you in warm steam and spray; easy installation, easy maintenance, attach to any standard shower; eco-friendly laser-cut water holes resulting in luxurious high pressure water saving; ionic mineral bio stones, purifies, filters and softens water for smooth skin; solid and beautiful design; and ion minerals reduce fatigue, eliminate flaky skin, improve hydration and cell regeneration.
What the photos show
The main image shows the head with close-ups of the spray face, the chrome collar and a pile of orange beads. The add-on images show three spray patterns, bags of orange and grey replacement beads, and a stainless hose. None shows a label with flow rate, materials or certification, which are what you would look for on a shower head from a hardware shop.
The health claims
"Reduce fatigue", "eliminate flaky skin", "improve hydration" and "cell regeneration" are claims about how the body works. The page offers no studies, mechanism or regulatory status. In our view, they should be treated as marketing. If you have a skin condition, talk to a pharmacist, GP or dermatologist.
Why skin claims need evidence
Skin hydration and flakiness can be measured, and dermatology researchers do run controlled trials of skincare products. A shower head claiming to improve hydration could be tested the same way: two groups, one with the head and one without, with skin measured before and after. The page cites no such study, and in our search we found none for bead shower heads.
"Ionic" and "negative ions"
Ionic shower heads often claim to release negative ions or minerals that benefit the skin. Tap water already contains dissolved minerals and ions, and the amounts that could come from a small bead cartridge in the moment water passes through are tiny. We found no good evidence that they change how water affects your skin.
"Purifies and filters"
Real filtration needs the right media in enough quantity, with enough contact time, and independent testing to show it works. NSF explains that its NSF/ANSI 177 standard sets requirements for shower filters, including verified reduction of free available chlorine and material safety, and that there are no federal rules for residential shower filters, so certification matters. IOnic Spa shows none.
Bacteria in bead cartridges
Any damp cartridge that sits warm between showers can grow bacteria and mould, especially if it is rarely opened. Certified filters come with replacement schedules partly for this reason. If you keep IOnic Spa, open and rinse the cartridge regularly, let it dry and replace the beads if they look slimy or smell.
How to find a certified filter
NSF keeps a searchable listing of certified products. If a shower filter claims to reduce chlorine, look it up by brand and model to confirm it is certified to NSF/ANSI 177. A product that claims to purify water but does not appear in any certification listing has not been independently shown to do so.
Chlorine versus chloramine
Many water suppliers now use chloramine rather than chlorine. The EPA explains chloramine use in drinking water, and chloramine is harder for simple filters to remove. Even certified chlorine filters may do little against chloramine. Check which your supplier uses.
Why contact time matters for filtering
For a filter to remove substances from water, the water needs enough contact with the right material. In a shower, water rushes through a handheld head at several litres a minute. A small cartridge of loose beads gives very little contact time. Certified shower filters use specific media, such as activated carbon or KDF, sized and tested to work at shower flow rates.
What the different bead colours mean
Bead-filled heads often mix orange, grey, black and white beads, sometimes described as tourmaline, germanium or mineral stones. The page calls them "ionic mineral bio stones" without naming the materials. Without a list of materials and test data, the colours tell you nothing about what the beads do.
"Softens water"
Water softness depends on dissolved calcium and magnesium. Softening needs an ion exchange unit or similar, sized for household use and regenerated with salt. A shower head cartridge cannot meaningfully soften water. If hard water bothers you, a whole-house softener or simply moisturising after showering are the practical options.
Does IOnic Spa really give "200% high pressure" while saving water?
Small holes make water leave the head faster, which can feel stronger, but they do not create more water or more pressure. Whether it saves water depends on its flow rate, which the page does not state. The EPA's WaterSense programme labels showerheads that use no more than 2.0 gallons per minute and meet spray and coverage tests. Without a flow figure or label, "high pressure water saving" cannot be checked.
How small holes change the spray
Water pressure pushes water through the head. With smaller holes, the same water must move faster to get through, which feels sharper on the skin. If your pressure is low, that can make showers feel more invigorating. If your pressure is already high, a small-hole head can feel needle-like.
What "200%" might mean
The page does not explain its 200% figure. It may refer to spray speed or a comparison with an unnamed head. Pressure in your pipes is set by your water supply and plumbing; a shower head cannot double it.
What flow rate tells you
Flow rate, in gallons or litres per minute, is the single most useful number for a shower head. It tells you how much water and hot water energy each minute of showering uses. Older heads can exceed 2.5 gallons per minute; WaterSense heads use 2.0 or less. Without a flow figure, you cannot tell whether IOnic Spa saves water compared with your current head.
Water saving
A head saves water if it has a lower flow rate than the one it replaces. The EPA's WaterSense showerhead performance overview describes how WaterSense showerheads are limited to 2.0 gallons per minute and must still meet tests for spray force and coverage. IOnic Spa gives no flow rate and no WaterSense label.
Energy and hot water
Most of a shower's running cost is heating the water. A head that uses less water per minute also uses less energy, which is why WaterSense heads can cut both bills. A small-hole head that feels strong at a lower flow can save energy too, but only if its flow is genuinely lower, which the IOnic page does not show.
The modes are sold separately
The title promises a "3-way function", but the page code sells "3 Massage Comfort Modes" as a $9 add-on, shown reduced from $19, with images of three spray patterns. What to do: ask support whether the standard head has one spray pattern or three before ordering.
Low pressure homes
If your shower feels weak, first check whether the problem is the head or the supply. Remove the head and run the hose into a bucket for ten seconds. If flow from the bare hose is strong, a clogged or restrictive head is the issue, and descaling or replacing it helps. If flow is weak even without a head, the issue is your plumbing or supply, and no head will fix it.
High pressure homes
Where pressure is already strong, a small-hole head can feel sharp or even painful on sensitive skin. Choose a head with larger holes or a softer rain setting if you have high pressure.
Warm steam
The page talks about warm steam and spray enveloping you. Steam comes from hot water, not from the head. Any shower at the same temperature produces the same steam.
How much does IOnic Spa Shower cost, and what is sold separately?
On 4 October 2026, with the United States selected, one IOnic Spa Shower cost $79, shown as half of $158, with free delivery. The five-pack for $197 was preselected. The page code lists the 3 massage modes for $9, a shower hose for $7 and replacement beads for $9, and a 3-year warranty cost $14. Buying the modes and hose brings one head to $95.

IOnic Spa Shower price and bundles

| 1 IOnic Spa Shower | $79 | $79.00 |
| 2 IOnic Spa Shower | $119 | $59.50 |
| Buy 2, get 1 free (3) | $137 | $45.67 |
| 4 IOnic Spa Shower | $179 | $44.75 |

Most homes need one per handheld shower. You can check today's packages on the IOnic Spa Shower order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab).
The add-ons
- 3 Massage Comfort Modes: $9 (from $19). Three spray patterns, despite "3-way function" in the product title.
- Shower Installation Cord: $7 (from $14). A stainless steel shower hose. You need one if your shower does not already have a handheld hose.
- Purifying Water Stones Replacement: $9 (from $19). Bags of replacement beads.
What the hose add-on tells you
Selling a shower hose as an add-on suggests the head may arrive without one. That is normal for replacement heads, since most showers already have a hose. But if your shower has no handheld hose, the $7 add-on, or a hose from a hardware shop, is essential, and fixed overhead showers may need a diverter or a different setup altogether.
Replacement beads
The page sells replacement beads but does not say how often to change them. Without evidence that the beads do anything, replacing them is a recurring cost for little proven benefit. Some owners of similar heads report beads discolouring or breaking down over time. If you keep the head, rinse the cartridge occasionally.
Total cost over a year
If you replace beads every few months as many sellers suggest, the cost adds up: $9 a pack on top of the $79 head, plus the $9 modes and $7 hose if you need them. A basic small-hole handheld head with no beads costs far less and has no running costs. A certified filter has running costs too, but you know what each cartridge does.
The "regular price"
The page shows $158 crossed out next to $79 with a countdown. We found no evidence of IOnic Spa Shower selling at $158. Bead-filled handheld heads are widely sold for much less.
Who sells it
The order page and impressum name G Com Pte Ltd, at 137 Market Street in Singapore, with a company registration number, email and phone number. The footer says "G Com Pte Ltd - Hong Kong". We found no independent rating profile for the store. With the United States selected, the order page said charges would appear as drone720x.com.

Is IOnic Spa Shower better than a filtered or WaterSense shower head?
No. If you want to reduce chlorine, choose a filter certified to NSF/ANSI 177. If you want to save water, choose a WaterSense labelled head. If you want a stronger spray on low pressure, many small-hole handheld heads cost less. IOnic Spa's only distinction is its bead-filled look. A filtered head such as NUUD at least lists what it filters and how often to replace it.
| Option | Chlorine reduction | Water saving | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| IOnic Spa Shower | No certification shown | No flow rate stated | $79, plus extras |
| NSF/ANSI 177 certified filter | Tested for free chlorine | Depends on head | Varies |
| WaterSense handheld head | No | 2.0 gpm or less, tested spray | Varies, often low |
| Basic small-hole handheld head | No | Varies | Low |
| NUUD filtered shower head | Lists filter media | Not WaterSense | $89.99 when we checked |
What to look for in any shower head
Look for a stated flow rate, ideally a WaterSense label, a clear list of materials, and any filtering claims backed by NSF/ANSI 177 or equivalent certification. Check the connector type, whether it is handheld or fixed, and how easy it is to descale. Those details tell you far more than claims about ions or spa experiences.
IOnic Spa vs a certified shower filter
An NSF/ANSI 177 certified filter has been independently tested to reduce free chlorine. That is the clearest case where a rival wins, if chlorine is your concern.
IOnic Spa vs a WaterSense shower head
WaterSense heads save water and still pass tests for spray force and coverage. The EPA says installing a WaterSense showerhead can save a household thousands of gallons a year and cut water heating costs. IOnic Spa offers no such label.
IOnic Spa vs a basic small-hole handheld head
If what you like is the finer, faster spray, plenty of handheld heads with small nozzles do the same without beads or cartridges. They are usually cheaper, have no consumables and are easier to keep clean. For many people, that is the better buy.
IOnic Spa vs NUUD
Our NUUD showerhead review covers a filtered head that lists its filter media and replacement schedule, scoring 6.7. It is a more transparent product, though it too has limits with chloramine.
IOnic Spa vs a whole-house water softener
If hard water leaves scale on taps and makes skin feel dry, a whole-house softener changes the water at every tap and shower. It is a bigger investment, needs salt and maintenance, and usually needs a plumber. It is the only option that genuinely softens water throughout the home.
Choosing what to prioritise
Decide what you want most: a stronger-feeling spray, less chlorine, lower water use or softer water. Each points to a different product. A small-hole head for spray, an NSF/ANSI 177 filter for chlorine, a WaterSense head for saving water, and a softener for hardness. IOnic Spa tries to promise all four and proves none.

Is IOnic Spa Shower legit, and what should you check before buying?
IOnic Spa Shower is a real product from a named seller, and a shower head should arrive if you order. Before buying, ignore the health claims, check you have a handheld hose with a standard connector, ask whether the three modes are included, change the preselected five-pack, and know that refunds need a returns number and that return postage is yours to pay.
Do not use it to treat a skin condition
What to do: if you have eczema, psoriasis or very dry skin, ask a pharmacist or doctor for advice. Shorter, cooler showers and a fragrance-free moisturiser are common first steps.
Check your shower setup
What to do: check you have a flexible hose with a standard connector. If not, you need the hose add-on or a fitting from a hardware shop.
Ask about the spray modes
What to do: ask support whether the standard head has three spray patterns or one, before deciding on the $9 add-on.
Check the selected bundle
The five-pack for $197 was preselected. What to do: change it to one head before entering your details.
Membership offers
The page code contains text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership, free for 30 days and then "a small fee of $9 may apply". We did not see it on the order page with the United States selected. What to do: read every checkbox and post-purchase page.
Refunds and returns
The page code promises a 30-day guarantee with a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms focus on defective or damaged products, which may be returned within two years once you have a returns number. Return postage is at your cost and is not reimbursed.
What to do: fit and test the head the day it arrives, and contact support at once if it leaks or does not fit.
Check materials and safety
The page says the materials are solid and beautiful but gives no material specification or safety certification. What to do: ask support what the handle and beads are made of, and whether they are certified for contact with drinking water, since shower water is the same supply.
Check the connector size
Most handheld hoses use a standard connector, but sizes vary between countries. What to do: check your hose connector matches the head, or buy the hose with it if you are unsure.
How to buy IOnic Spa Shower the smart way
- Check you have a handheld hose with a standard connector.
- Open the IOnic Spa Shower order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and select your country.
- Change the preselected five-pack to one head.
- Ask whether the three modes are included; add the hose only if you need one.
- Note the card statement name, drone720x.com, and save your order email.
- Fit and test it on the day it arrives.
How did we score IOnic Spa Shower?
IOnic Spa Shower scores 3.7 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.3, build durability 0.9, price competitiveness 0.8, usability 1.2 and owner satisfaction 0.5, each out of 2. It is easy to fit and the spray may suit low pressure, but its health and filtration claims are unsupported, no certification or flow rate is shown, and features from its own title are sold as extras.
What owners say
We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no independent retailer reviews for IOnic Spa Shower. Owners of similar bead-filled handheld heads elsewhere often like the look and the stronger-feeling spray, and complain about beads discolouring, plastic handles cracking, leaks at the connector and no noticeable change in skin or hair.
How the score breaks down
We use the five criteria on our how we test page, each out of 2.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Claim accuracy | 0.3 / 2 | Skin, fatigue and cell regeneration claims unsupported; no filter certification |
| Build durability | 0.9 / 2 | Plastic handle; bead cartridge needs replacing |
| Price competitiveness | 0.8 / 2 | $79 for a type of head widely sold for much less; modes and hose extra |
| Usability | 1.2 / 2 | Simple screw-on fit for handheld hoses |
| Owner satisfaction | 0.5 / 2 | No independent ratings for this product |
| Total | 3.7 / 10 |
What we did, and did not, do
Nobody on our team has used IOnic Spa Shower. We read the offer page our link opens with the United States selected, its code and the seller's terms on 4 October 2026, along with NSF's shower filter standard, the EPA's WaterSense showerhead overview and chloramine guidance, and the top-ranking IOnic Spa Shower pages.
How to use IOnic Spa Shower: fitting, beads and care
Unscrew your old handheld head, check the washer, screw IOnic Spa on hand-tight and run the water to check for leaks. Rinse the bead cartridge regularly, descale the spray face in hard water areas, and keep your old head in case you want to switch back. For dry skin, focus on shower habits rather than the beads.
- Remove the old head. Unscrew it from the hose by hand.
- Check the washer. Make sure the rubber washer is in the hose or new head connector.
- Screw it on hand-tight. Overtightening can crack plastic threads.
- Run the water. Check the connector and handle joints for drips.
- Flush the beads. Run the shower for a minute to clear any dust from new beads.
- Adjust your routine. Try slightly cooler, shorter showers for drier skin.
- Keep the old head. Handy if the new one leaks or you prefer it.

Getting the most from the spray
If your water pressure is low, run the shower fully open and keep the head close to your body for a sharper feel. If pressure is high, turn the tap down slightly; a fast small-hole spray does not need full flow to feel strong, and you will use less hot water.
Changing the beads
The handle usually unscrews to open the cartridge. Tip out old beads, rinse the cartridge and refill with new ones. Do this over a bowl so beads do not go down the drain.
Hanging the head to drain
Bead cartridges stay damp after each shower. Hang the head with the spray face down so water drains out of the handle, and leave the bathroom door or window open for ventilation. A damp, enclosed cartridge is where mould and bacteria grow.
Descaling the spray face
Small holes clog with limescale in hard water. Soak the face in a solution of white vinegar and water, then rub the nozzles gently with your thumb or a soft brush.
Checking for leaks over time
Every few weeks, run the shower and look at the joint between the hose and the head and the seams of the handle. Small drips get worse as washers age. A replacement washer costs pennies and fixes most connector leaks.
Looking after your skin
Dermatologists commonly suggest lukewarm rather than hot water, keeping showers short, using gentle, fragrance-free cleansers and applying moisturiser within a few minutes of drying off.
Cleaning the clear handle
Clear handles can cloud or grow mould inside if water sits in them. After each shower, hang the head so it drains, and every few weeks open the cartridge, rinse the beads and let the handle dry. If the inside looks slimy or discoloured, clean it with a mild diluted vinegar solution and rinse well.
When to replace the head
Replace the head if the handle cracks, the beads crumble into small grit or the spray becomes patchy even after descaling. Grit from crumbling beads can block holes and is not something you want on your skin.
Storing spare beads
If you buy replacement beads, keep the sealed bags somewhere dry and out of reach of children and pets. Small beads look like sweets to young children and are a choking risk. Label the bags so nobody mistakes them for anything else. If a child does swallow a bead or put one in their nose or ear, seek medical advice promptly. Keep the product's details handy so you can say what the beads are made of, as far as the seller has told you.
Showering with children
If children use the shower, keep the head at a height they cannot pull down roughly, and supervise them with the water temperature. A strong small-hole spray can feel stinging to children, so test it on your own arm first.
If it leaks
Check the washer is seated and the connection is snug. Replace the washer if it is cracked. If the handle leaks at a seam, contact support within the guarantee period.
Other questions about ionic and filtered shower heads
Can a shower head make hair softer? Hard water and chlorine can leave hair feeling rough for some people. A certified filter may help with chlorine; a softener helps with hardness. Conditioners and a final cool rinse are simpler fixes. Bead heads have no evidence of changing hair.
Do vitamin C shower filters work? Vitamin C can neutralise chlorine and chloramine in water, and some shower filters use it. Look for independent test data for any product making this claim.
Is it safe to shower in chlorinated water? Tap water is treated to make it safe, and chlorine levels in drinking water are regulated. Some people find chlorine irritates their skin or smells unpleasant, which is a comfort issue rather than a safety one for most people.
How often should I replace a shower head? Replace it when it leaks, cracks or clogs beyond cleaning. A simple head can last many years with regular descaling.
Do handheld shower heads waste more water? Not necessarily. Water use depends on flow rate and shower length. A WaterSense handheld head with a short shower uses far less than a high-flow fixed head.
Can I use IOnic Spa with an electric shower? Electric showers often have specific hose and head requirements and lower flow. Check the shower maker's guidance before fitting any different head.

Frequently asked questions
Do ionic shower heads work?
They can change the spray, and small holes may feel stronger on low pressure. But the claims that mineral beads reduce fatigue, eliminate flaky skin, improve hydration or regenerate cells have no evidence on the page, and we found no independent studies supporting them. Treat the beads as decoration unless certified otherwise.
Does IOnic Spa filter chlorine?
The page says the beads purify, filter and soften water, but shows no certification. NSF/ANSI 177 is the standard for shower filters, and certified filters are tested to reduce free chlorine. Without that certification, there is no way to know how much, if any, chlorine is removed.
Does IOnic Spa soften hard water?
True water softening removes calcium and magnesium, usually with an ion exchange unit fitted to the household supply. A small cartridge of beads in a shower head cannot do that for any meaningful amount of water. Expect no real change in hardness.
How much does IOnic Spa Shower cost?
With the United States selected on 4 October 2026, the offer page listed one for $79, two for $119, three for $137, four for $179 and five for $197. The five-pack was preselected. Delivery was listed as free, and a 3-year warranty add-on cost $14.
Will IOnic Spa fit my shower?
It is a handheld head, so it needs a flexible shower hose with a standard connector. The page sells a hose as a $7 add-on. If you have a fixed overhead shower arm, it will not fit without a different setup.
Does it increase water pressure?
Small holes make water leave faster, which can feel like more pressure, but they do not increase the amount of water. In some homes, small holes restrict flow and can feel weaker. The page gives no flow rate in gallons or litres per minute.
Is IOnic Spa Shower legit?
It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, company number, email and phone. The concerns are the unsupported skin and health claims, no filter certification, features sold as add-ons, the preselected five-pack and refund terms that leave return postage to you.
