FaucetMaster Review: A $39 Flexible Tap Extender With a Small Filter Cartridge
A bendable gooseneck aerator that screws onto your tap, with a swivel head and a foam filter. Handy for rinsing sinks, but it cannot raise water pressure and the filter is not certified.

Quick answer
A handy sink gadget, oversold as a pressure booster and water filter. FaucetMaster is a chrome gooseneck extension that screws onto your tap, with a swivel aerator head that lets you aim water into every corner of the sink.

Our verdict
A handy sink gadget, oversold as a pressure booster and water filter. FaucetMaster is a chrome gooseneck extension that screws onto your tap, with a swivel aerator head that lets you aim water into every corner of the sink. That is genuinely useful. But no tap attachment can raise your water pressure, the "built-in filtration system" is a small foam cartridge with no NSF certification shown, and similar flexible aerators sell for much less. FaucetMaster scores 3.5 out of 10, held back by its claims.
The short version
- What it is: a flexible gooseneck tap extender with a swivel aerator and foam filter.
- Price: $39 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $99 flagged as the best seller.
- Best trait: easy rinsing anywhere in the sink.
- Biggest drawback: pressure and filtration claims it cannot back up.
- Our score: 3.5 out of 10.
Pros & cons
The pros come from a practical design. The cons come from the claims.
What we like
- Bendable gooseneck lets you aim water into every corner of the sink
- 360-degree swivel head
- Aerated spray can feel stronger while using less water
- Screws on with a universal adapter, according to the page
- The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number
What we don't
- It cannot increase your water pressure; it only shapes the flow
- The 'filtration system' is a small foam cartridge with no NSF certification shown
- Nine extra filters are a $7 add-on, suggesting cartridges need frequent changing
- Universal fit is not guaranteed; tap threads vary
- Similar flexible aerators are widely sold for much less
- Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works
FaucetMaster replaces your tap's aerator. Water flows through the flexible metal hose, past a small foam filter in the head, and out through an aerator that mixes in air for a softer, wider spray. The gooseneck bends to point the stream where you need it, and the head swivels 360 degrees.

Remove your aerator
Step 1: Unscrew the existing aerator from the tap spout.
Screw it on
Step 2: Fit the universal adapter and screw FaucetMaster onto the tap thread.
Bend and rinse
Step 3: Bend the gooseneck to where you need it; water passes through the filter and aerator head.
The page title lists "Water Tap Extender", "Pressurized Water Nozzle", "High Pressure Water Filter", "360 Degree Rotating Faucet", "Universal Faucet Adapter", "Water Saving Faucet Attachment" and "Tap Filter with Replaceable Cartridge". The six bullets promise boosted pressure, 360-degree rotation, built-in filtration, easy universal fit, water saving and a durable flexible design.
What the page leaves out
Flow rate, filter material and what it removes, certification, thread sizes and hose length.
A familiar design
Chrome flexible tap extenders with a blue-banded filter head are sold widely under many names.
Who it's for
FaucetMaster suits anyone who wants easier sink rinsing, renters wanting a removable upgrade, and people who like an aerated spray. It is cross-sold with the shower head in our IOnic Spa Shower review.
- Anyone who wants to rinse every corner of a sink more easily
- Renters wanting a removable upgrade to a fixed tap
- People who like a softer, aerated spray
Kitchen sinks
Rinse pans and sink corners without moving them.
Renters
Screws on and off, leaving the tap unchanged.
Softer spray
Aerated water splashes less.
Who should skip it
Skip FaucetMaster if you need a certified drinking water filter, have low water pressure you hope to fix, or have a pull-out or unusual tap.
- Anyone needing a certified drinking water filter
- People with low water pressure hoping to raise it
- Owners of pull-out or unusual taps without a standard thread
Does FaucetMaster really boost pressure and filter water?
No to pressure; barely to filtration. A tap attachment cannot raise the pressure delivered by your pipes. Aerators narrow and aerate the flow, which can feel stronger while using less water. The foam cartridge may trap some sediment, but NSF explains that certifications like NSF/ANSI 42 and 53 are what confirm a filter reduces specific contaminants, and FaucetMaster shows none.
Filter certifications
NSF's guide to NSF/ANSI 42, 53 and 401 explains which standards cover taste and odour, health contaminants like lead, and emerging contaminants.
What this means for you: for drinking water, choose a filter certified to the standard for the contaminant you are worried about.
Water saving
The EPA's WaterSense bathroom faucets page says labelled faucets and accessories use at most 1.5 gallons per minute. FaucetMaster gives no flow rate.
"Universal Fit Adapter"
Most standard taps fit; pull-out and designer taps may not.
How much does FaucetMaster cost, and are the add-ons worth it?
On 6 October 2026, one FaucetMaster cost $39, with the five-pack at $99 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered nine additional filters for $7, an IOnic Spa Shower for $39, a car USB charger adapter for $4 and a 3-year warranty for $5. If you keep the filter, the spares are cheap.

Is FaucetMaster better than a cheap aerator or a certified tap filter?
It is a cheap aerator at a higher price, and not a substitute for a certified filter. Flexible aerators without the claims are sold widely for less. For drinking water, a certified pitcher or tap-mounted filter states what it removes.
| Option | Flexible | Certified filter | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| FaucetMaster | Yes | No | $39 |
| Generic flexible aerator | Yes | No | Usually less |
| Certified tap-mounted filter | Varies | Yes | Varies |

What owners say
We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for FaucetMaster by that name. Owners of similar flexible tap extenders like the reach and spray, and complain about leaks at the thread, reduced flow as filters clog and hoses that droop.
What we did, and did not, do
Nobody on our team has used FaucetMaster. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with NSF filter standards, EPA WaterSense guidance and the pages that rank for FaucetMaster. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.
How to use FaucetMaster for easier sink cleaning
Fit it hand-tight with the washer seated, bend the gooseneck to where you rinse most, and change the filter when the flow slows. Keep the old aerator in case you remove it, and use a certified filter for drinking water.
- Keep your old aerator. In case you remove it later.
- Seat the washer. Prevents leaks.
- Hand-tight first. Then a gentle extra turn if needed.
- Bend to your sink. Aim at the corners you rinse most.
- Change filters as flow slows. Do not wait for discolouring.
- Clean the head. Soak in vinegar to remove limescale.
- Drink from a certified filter. Not this one.
Hot water
Ask the seller about temperature limits for the filter.
Leaks
Re-seat the washer or try the adapter if the thread drips.

What else do people ask about tap extenders?
Most questions are about bathroom taps, limescale and hot water. They fit many bathroom taps, limescale needs occasional vinegar soaks, and filters may not like very hot water. Browse our home accessory reviews for more.
Does it fit bathroom taps?
Many, if they have a removable aerator.
How do I remove limescale?
Soak the head in white vinegar, then rinse.
Can it take hot water?
Ask the seller; foam filters may degrade with heat.
Does it work without the filter?
Probably, as a plain aerator.
Frequently asked questions
How much does FaucetMaster cost?
On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one FaucetMaster for $39, two for $59, three (two plus one free) for $79, four for $89 and five (three plus two free) for $99, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. Nine extra filters cost $7, an IOnic Spa Shower $39 and a 3-year warranty $5.
Does FaucetMaster increase water pressure?
No device on a tap can raise the pressure supplied to it. An aerator mixes air into the flow and narrows it, which can make the spray feel stronger while using less water.
Does FaucetMaster filter drinking water?
It has a small foam cartridge, which may catch sediment, but no NSF certification is shown. NSF says certifications such as NSF/ANSI 42 and 53 confirm a filter reduces specific contaminants. Use a certified filter for drinking water.
Does it save water?
Aerators can reduce flow. The EPA's WaterSense label covers bathroom faucets and accessories using a maximum of 1.5 gallons per minute. FaucetMaster gives no flow rate, so savings are unknown.
Will it fit my tap?
The page says it has a universal adapter. Most taps with removable aerators have standard threads, but pull-out and designer taps may not fit. Check before ordering.
How often should I change the filter?
The page does not say. Nine spare filters for $7 suggests they need changing often. Replace one when flow slows or it looks discoloured.
Is FaucetMaster legit?
It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are pressure and filtration claims, no certification or flow rate, cheaper look-alikes and return postage at your cost.
