iTrackYou Pro Review: A $49 'Spy' Tracker That Looks Like the GF-07

A tiny magnetic SIM-card tracker. It can roughly locate your own car or bag, but it is marketed for tracking people, and its GF-07 design relies on old 2G networks.

Quick answer

No. iTrackYou Pro is a tiny magnetic box that reports its location through a SIM card, and it is sold to "track anyone, car, boat, person, pets" with an audio add-on "for even more powerful spying". Tracking or recording people without consent can be a crime.

Our verdict

No. iTrackYou Pro is a tiny magnetic box that reports its location through a SIM card, and it is sold to "track anyone, car, boat, person, pets" with an audio add-on "for even more powerful spying". Tracking or recording people without consent can be a crime. As a tracker for your own car, it is weak too: it is marked GF-07, a design users report gives rough cell-tower locations, and it relies on 2G networks that the US and many countries have switched off. iTrackYou Pro scores 2.4 out of 10.

The short version

  • What it is: a small magnetic SIM-card tracker marked GF-07, with an optional audio recorder.
  • Price: $49 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $135 flagged as the best seller.
  • Best trait: small and subscription-free, for a rough location of your own property.
  • Biggest drawback: spying marketing, likely cell-tower accuracy and 2G network dependence.
  • Our score: 2.4 out of 10.

Pros & cons

There are legitimate reasons to track your own car or equipment. The pros reflect that narrow use. The cons are about how the product is marketed and whether it works where you live.

What we like

  • Very small, with a magnet for attaching to your own car, trailer or equipment
  • Uses a standard SIM card, so it works without a subscription to the seller
  • Rechargeable over USB
  • The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number

What we don't

  • Marketed to 'track anyone' and for 'spying'; tracking or recording people without consent can be a crime
  • Marked GF-07, a design that users report gives rough cell-tower locations rather than true GPS
  • GF-07 units use 2G GSM networks, which have been switched off in the US and many countries
  • Battery life is short; 4 to 6 days needs a $7 add-on
  • You must supply and pay for a SIM card with data
  • Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works

iTrackYou Pro is a small black box with a magnet, a rechargeable battery, a SIM slot and a memory card slot. You insert a SIM card with calls, texts and data. When you text or call its number, or check an app, it reports a location based on the mobile network and, if fitted and working, a GPS receiver. The audio add-on lets it record sound to the memory card or let you listen in.

  1. Insert a SIM card

Step 1: Open the back and insert a SIM card with calls, texts and data enabled on a network the device supports.

  2. Charge and register

Step 2: Charge it by USB, then set it up by text message or the companion app, following the leaflet.

  3. Request its location

Step 3: Text or call the tracker's number, or check the app, to get a map location for your own vehicle or belongings.

The page title calls it a "GPS tracker device", "GPRS enabled GPS tracking device", "SIM card GPS tracking", "stealth GPS tracker" and "magnetic attachment hidden GPS tracker". The six bullets promise to "track anyone, car, boat, person, pets", a "completely independent GPS tracker", a "strong magnet for stealth attachment", "accurate tracking from multiple satellites", GPRS and SIM communication, and "multipurpose tracking technology".

The GF-07 marking

The device in every photo is marked "GF-07". On the Traccar forum thread about the GF-07, an experienced user said it is not a GPS tracker despite the label and sends a location within a wide area, others reported zero coordinates, and users noted that counterfeit units with almost no components are common.

What the page leaves out

There is no network band, battery life, accuracy figure, app name or legal notice.

Who it's for

iTrackYou Pro is only reasonable for owners who want a rough location for their own car, trailer, boat or equipment, who understand SIM setup, and who live where the device's networks still run. It is not for tracking people, for pets that need accurate locations, or for US buyers. Our iTrack review covers a plug-in car tracker from the same checkout.

  • Owners who want a rough location for their own car, trailer, boat or equipment
  • People who understand SIM setup and accept cell-tower accuracy
  • Buyers in countries where the 2G networks it needs still operate

Owners of trailers and equipment

A magnetic box on your own trailer or machinery can give a rough area if it is stolen, where networks allow.

Who should skip it

Skip iTrackYou Pro if you are thinking of tracking or recording another adult without their consent, if you live in the US or another country that has shut down 2G, if you need accurate pet tracking, or if you want a reliable app-based tracker.

  • Anyone thinking of tracking or recording another adult without their consent
  • People in countries where 2G networks have been switched off, including the US
  • Pet owners who need accurate, frequent locations
  • Anyone who wants a reliable, app-based tracker with clear coverage

Using it on your own vehicle or belongings is generally lawful. Using it to track or record another adult without consent can be a crime. The page advertises tracking "anyone" and "stealth attachment", and sells an audio recorder "for even more powerful spying". Covert tracking is a recognised form of stalking, and recording private conversations can break wiretap laws.

Tracking and stalking

The US Bureau of Justice Statistics' report on stalking in 2019 estimated 3.4 million people aged 16 or older were stalked that year, with technology used against many of them, including location tracking.

What to do: only use a tracker on property you own, and tell anyone who drives a tracked vehicle.

Recording conversations

The US Wiretap Act, 18 U.S.C. 2511, makes it an offence to intercept oral communications unless you are a party to the conversation or one party consents, and many states require everyone's consent. Other countries have their own rules.

What to do: do not buy the audio recorder add-on.

If you think you are being tracked

Check under bumpers, wheel arches and the car's underside for small magnetic boxes, and inside under seats and the dashboard. If you find one and feel unsafe, contact the police or a domestic abuse service before removing it, so evidence is kept.

Does iTrackYou Pro work, and will it connect where you live?

Possibly not. GF-07 trackers connect over 2G GSM networks, which US carriers and many others have switched off, so a unit may never connect. Where 2G still runs, users report rough cell-tower locations rather than GPS accuracy, and the page's "accurate tracking from multiple satellites" comes with no figures.

The 2G problem

GSMArena reported T-Mobile's 2G network shutdown in the US, following AT&T's earlier switch-off. Other countries are retiring 2G and 3G too. A 2G-only tracker cannot report anything without a 2G network.

What to do: ask the seller which networks and bands the unit supports, and check your carrier still runs them.

Cell-tower versus GPS accuracy

Cell-tower (LBS) location can be off by hundreds of metres in cities and kilometres in the countryside. That may show which town a stolen trailer is in, not which street.

Battery

The page gives no figure for the standard unit. The $7 add-on promises 4 to 6 days, so a hidden tracker needs frequent charging.

How much does iTrackYou Pro cost, and what do the add-ons add?

On 6 October 2026, one iTrackYou Pro cost $49, with the five-pack at $135 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered a high capacity battery for $7, an audio recorder for $12, a USB car adapter for $4 and a 3-year warranty for $9. You also pay for a SIM card and data plan. GF-07 units sell online for a fraction of $49.

Is iTrackYou Pro better than an AirTag or a 4G car tracker?

No. For your own belongings, a Bluetooth tag such as an AirTag or a 4G GPS tracker with a clear subscription works better and includes anti-stalking protections. Apple and Google phones alert people to unknown Bluetooth trackers travelling with them. A 4G tracker uses networks that are not being switched off and real GPS.

Is iTrackYou Pro legit, and what should you check before buying?

iTrackYou Pro is a real product from a named seller, and a tracker should arrive if you order. Before buying, confirm network support where you live, decide whether cell-tower accuracy is enough, skip the audio recorder, switch from the five-pack and note the card statement name.

Confirm the network

What to do: email support@g63com.com and ask which network bands it supports, whether it has a real GPS receiver, and the expected accuracy. Keep the reply.

Check the selected bundle

The five-pack for $135 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one tracker.

Card statement name and memberships

The charge appears as panameedia. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.

Refunds and returns

The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost. A tracker that cannot connect to your network may still cost you postage to return.

How to buy iTrackYou Pro the smart way

  1. Confirm 2G support where you will use it.
  2. Open the iTrackYou Pro order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and select your country.
  3. Change the five-pack to one tracker.
  4. Leave the audio recorder unticked.
  5. Note the card statement name, panameedia.

How did we score iTrackYou Pro?

iTrackYou Pro scores 2.4 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.2, build durability 0.7, price competitiveness 0.5, usability 0.6 and owner satisfaction 0.4, each out of 2. It is small and subscription-free. The score falls on marketing for tracking and recording people, a GF-07 design users report lacks true GPS accuracy, dependence on 2G networks that are being switched off, short battery life and an audio "spying" add-on.

How the score breaks down

We use the five criteria on our how we test page, each out of 2.

CriterionScoreWhy
Claim accuracy0.2 / 2"Accurate tracking from multiple satellites" doubtful
Build durability0.7 / 2Basic plastic box; counterfeits common
Price competitiveness0.5 / 2Above GF-07 prices elsewhere
Usability0.6 / 2SIM setup by text; may not connect at all
Owner satisfaction0.4 / 2No ratings for this listing; GF-07 users mixed
Total2.4 / 10

What owners say

We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for iTrackYou Pro by that name. Users of GF-07 trackers on forums and retail sites report units that never connect, locations that are kilometres off, confusing text-message setup and batteries that run flat in days.

What we did, and did not, do

Nobody on our team has used iTrackYou Pro. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with GF-07 user reports, 2G shutdown coverage, US wiretap law, the BJS stalking report and the pages that rank for iTrackYou Pro. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.

How to use iTrackYou Pro responsibly

Use it only on property you own, tell anyone who drives a tracked vehicle, and do not use the audio feature. Before relying on it, confirm it connects on your network, test its location against where it really is, and recharge it on a schedule.

  1. Own property only. Your car, trailer or equipment.
  2. Tell other drivers. Consent matters.
  3. Confirm the network. Test before relying on it.
  4. Check accuracy. Compare its location with reality.
  5. Charge on a schedule. Days, not weeks.
  6. Skip audio recording. Legal risk.
  7. Report thefts to the police. Do not confront thieves yourself.

Placing it on your own vehicle

Inside the boot or glovebox works for most people and keeps it dry. Magnets on the underside can fall off and get wet.

If you sell the vehicle

Remove the tracker and cancel the SIM first.

What else do people ask about cheap SIM trackers?

Most questions are about subscriptions, children and accuracy. SIM trackers need your own data plan, child trackers should be designed and consented for that purpose, and cheap units are often far less accurate than claimed. Browse our car gadget reviews for other options.

Is there a monthly fee?

Not to the seller, but you pay for the SIM card and data.

Can I use it for my child?

Use a tracker designed for children, with consent appropriate to their age, and talk to them about it.

Will it work abroad?

Only where a supported network operates and your SIM can roam.

Can it be detected?

Yes. Detectors and visual checks can find magnetic trackers.

Frequently asked questions

Is it legal to use iTrackYou Pro to track someone?

Tracking another adult without consent can be a crime, including stalking or harassment, in many places. Using it on your own vehicle or belongings is generally fine. Recording conversations without consent can break wiretap laws. Check local law.

Does iTrackYou Pro use real GPS?

The device is marked GPS and GF-07. Users on the Traccar open-source tracking forum report that GF-07 units give rough cell-tower (LBS) locations rather than true GPS, accurate to hundreds of metres or worse, and that counterfeit units are common.

Will iTrackYou Pro work in the US?

Probably not. GF-07 trackers use 2G GSM networks, and US carriers have shut theirs down; T-Mobile's 2G shutdown was reported by GSMArena. Ask the seller which networks the unit supports before ordering.

How much does iTrackYou Pro cost?

On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one iTrackYou Pro for $49, two for $69, three (two plus one free) for $98, four for $123 and five (three plus two free) for $135, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. A bigger battery cost $7, an audio recorder $12 and a 3-year warranty $9.

How long does the battery last?

The page does not say for the standard unit. The $7 high capacity battery promises 4 to 6 days of continuous use, which means frequent recharging.

How can I check if someone put a tracker on my car?

Look under bumpers, wheel arches and the underside for small magnetic boxes, and inside under seats and the dashboard. If you find one and feel unsafe, contact the police or a domestic abuse service before removing it.

Is iTrackYou Pro legit?

It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are spying marketing, likely cell-tower rather than GPS location, 2G network dependence, short battery life and return postage at your cost.
