NoiseBudsX Review: $49 'Silent Earbuds' That Are Really Reusable Earplugs
Sold as earbuds for complete silence, NoiseBudsX are passive silicone earplugs with a filter. They can soften noise, but no rating is given and similar plugs cost far less.

Quick answer
No for most people, mainly on price. NoiseBudsX are reusable silicone earplugs with a small filter, not electronic earbuds, and that design can soften loud music or a noisy office well.

Our verdict
No for most people, mainly on price. NoiseBudsX are reusable silicone earplugs with a small filter, not electronic earbuds, and that design can soften loud music or a noisy office well. But the page promises they "instantly block out all environment noise", which no earplug can do, and gives no noise reduction rating at all. Rated filtered earplugs from Loop cost about half as much. NoiseBudsX scores 3.3 out of 10, held back by overstated claims, no rating and a high price.
The short version
- What it is: passive triple-flange silicone earplugs with a filter and a key-ring case.
- Price: $49 for one pair on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $135 flagged as the best seller.
- Best trait: reusable, discreet plugs with no batteries.
- Biggest drawback: no decibel rating and a price about twice that of rated rivals.
- Our score: 3.3 out of 10.
Pros & cons
Filtered earplugs are a genuinely useful product, and the design pictured is a common, sensible one. The pros reflect that. The cons are about how NoiseBudsX are described and priced.
What we like
- Reusable flanged silicone earplugs with a filter, a sensible design for softening noise
- No batteries, pairing or charging
- Small and discreet in the ear
- The main photo shows a key-ring case
- The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number
What we don't
- They are passive earplugs, not electronic earbuds, which the name and page title blur
- 'Instantly block out all environment noise' is impossible for any earplug
- No noise reduction rating (NRR or SNR) is given, so you cannot judge protection
- At $49, they cost about twice as much as rated filtered earplugs from Loop
- A 'high-noise filter' and an aluminium case are sold as add-ons
- Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works
NoiseBudsX are soft silicone plugs with three ridges, called flanges, that seal the ear canal. A small filter in the stem lets some sound through, which is meant to keep voices and music clearer than a solid plug while lowering the volume. There are no electronics: no speaker, microphone, battery or Bluetooth. The noise reduction comes entirely from the seal.

Choose the fit
Step 1: Roll your ear gently up and back and push the flanged tip into the ear canal until it seals, with the stem pointing out.
Let the seal and filter work
Step 2: The silicone flanges block the ear canal, and a small filter lets some sound through so voices stay clearer than with foam plugs.
Remove and store
Step 3: Twist them out slowly to break the seal, wipe them clean and keep them in the case.
The page title calls them a "hearing protector", "effective noise blocking technology" and "complete silence quality earbuds". The six bullets promise to "instantly block out all environment noise", help you concentrate on work or meditation, protect your ears at loud parties, "block out easily heavy machinery noises", give an "invisible" ergonomic fit and suit "everyone, no limitations".
Earbuds or earplugs?
"Earbuds" usually means wireless headphones. NoiseBudsX do not play sound. If you want music plus quiet, you need noise-cancelling earbuds, a different and pricier product. Our SpatialSound Edge review covers wireless earbuds sold through the same checkout.
Sizes
The page does not mention sizes. Many flanged plugs come in one size, which fits some ear canals poorly. A poor seal means much less noise reduction.
Who it's for
NoiseBudsX suit people who want to soften noise rather than block it: concert-goers, clubbers, travellers and open-office workers. They do not suit anyone who needs certified protection for work, shooting or power tools, and they are not headphones. Our ActivBeat 2.0 review covers sport earbuds if music is what you need.
- Concert-goers and clubbers who want to soften volume while hearing the music
- Light sleepers and open-office workers who want quieter surroundings
- Travellers who want reusable earplugs for flights
Concert and club goers
Filtered plugs lower the volume while keeping music recognisable, which helps protect hearing at loud gigs.
Open-office workers
Plugs can take the edge off chatter, though they will not create silence.
Travellers
Reusable plugs can make flights and trains more restful.
Light sleepers
Some people sleep well with flanged plugs. Side sleepers may find the stems press on the ear.
Who should skip it
Skip NoiseBudsX if you need rated hearing protection for work, shooting or heavy tools, if you want something that plays music, or if you want to see a decibel rating before paying.
- Anyone who needs certified hearing protection for machinery, shooting or work
- People expecting electronic noise-cancelling earbuds that play music
- Buyers who want a stated decibel rating before paying $49
Do NoiseBudsX really block out all noise?
No earplug blocks all noise. Well-fitted earplugs reduce sound by a number of decibels, and loud sounds still reach the inner ear through the bones of the skull. NoiseBudsX's page gives no noise reduction rating (NRR in the US, SNR in Europe), so you cannot tell how much they reduce. Fit matters more than the label.
Why ratings matter
Hearing protectors sold for work carry an NRR or SNR measured in a lab. Real-world protection is usually lower: NIOSH recommends derating the NRR to estimate what users actually get, keeping only about 30% of the label value for pre-moulded plugs like these. With no label at all, you have nothing to start from.
What this means for you: for work or shooting, choose protection with a stated rating.
"Block out easily heavy machinery noises"
Noise from heavy machinery can damage hearing over time. Protection needs to be rated and fitted properly, and workplaces have rules for it.
What to do: at work, use the protection your employer provides or one with a stated NRR or SNR.
"Protect your ears from loud noise in parties"
Filtered earplugs are a good idea at loud events. Any reasonable plug that fits well will lower your exposure.
"Invisible earbuds"
The clear or smoky plugs are discreet, but the stems sit at the ear opening and are visible up close.
How much do NoiseBudsX cost, and what do the add-ons add?
On 6 October 2026, one pair of NoiseBudsX cost $49, with the five-pack at $135 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered a "high-noise filter" upgrade for $7, an aluminium carrying case for $14, a USB car adapter for $4 and a 3-year warranty for $9. The main photo already shows a key-ring case, so ask what comes in the box before adding one.

| 3 (buy 2, get 1 free) | $98 | $32.67 |
| 4 NoiseBudsX | $123 | $30.75 |

Prices are in US dollars as listed on 6 October 2026. You can check today's packages on the NoiseBudsX order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab).
High-noise filter
For $7, a "super silent high-noise filter upgrade". The image shows smoky grey plugs with a filter visible in the base. No decibel figure is given for the standard or upgraded filter.

Aluminium carrying case
For $14, a grey aluminium case with a key ring. The main product photo already shows a black case of the same shape, so the add-on may only change the colour or material.

Car adapter and warranty
A $4 USB car adapter has nothing to do with earplugs; skip it. A 3-year warranty for $9 on silicone plugs is hard to justify.
Who sells it
The order page names G Com Pte Ltd at 137 Market Street in Singapore, with the email support@g63com.com and a phone number. The footer gives the country as Hong Kong. The page code says charges appear on your card statement as perfectchoicebase.com.

Are NoiseBudsX better than Loop earplugs or foam plugs?
No. Loop Quiet 2 costs about half as much and states its noise reduction. Loop listed Quiet 2 at $24.95 in the US with a 24 dB SNR and several tip sizes. Foam earplugs cost a few cents a pair and often block more noise when rolled and fitted well. Musicians' earplugs with flat filters suit concerts best.
| Option | Type | Rating stated | Sizes | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NoiseBudsX | Flanged, filtered | No | Not stated | $49 |
| Loop Quiet 2 | Silicone, sealed | 24 dB SNR | Several | $24.95 |
| Foam earplugs | Disposable foam | Usually NRR on pack | Roll to fit | Very low |
| Musicians' earplugs | Flanged, flat filter | Usually | Varies | Varies |
NoiseBudsX vs Loop Quiet 2
Loop's Quiet 2 page lists the price, the 24 dB rating and the ear tip sizes. That is the clearest case where a rival wins.
NoiseBudsX vs foam earplugs
Foam plugs are cheap and effective but disposable and can muffle voices. Filtered plugs sound more natural.
NoiseBudsX vs noise-cancelling earbuds
If you want to play music or podcasts, earbuds with active noise cancellation are the right category. Our SafeSleeve Air-Tube Headphones review covers wired earbuds, and our Talky AI Buds review covers translation earbuds.
If you prefer reusable filtered plugs and accept the price, you can see today's bundles on the NoiseBudsX offer page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab).

How did we score NoiseBudsX?
NoiseBudsX scores 3.3 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.4, build durability 1.0, price competitiveness 0.3, usability 1.2 and owner satisfaction 0.4, each out of 2. The flanged, filtered design is sensible and reusable. The score falls on "earbuds" wording for earplugs, the impossible "block out all noise" claim, no rating, a price about twice a rated rival's and add-ons for a filter and case.
How the score breaks down
We use the five criteria on our how we test page, each out of 2.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Claim accuracy | 0.4 / 2 | "All environment noise" and "complete silence" impossible |
| Build durability | 1.0 / 2 | Reusable silicone; filters can clog |
| Price competitiveness | 0.3 / 2 | About twice Loop Quiet 2, with no rating |
| Usability | 1.2 / 2 | Simple; fit depends on ear size |
| Owner satisfaction | 0.4 / 2 | No independent ratings for this listing |
| Total | 3.3 / 10 |
What owners say
We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for NoiseBudsX by that name. Owners of similar flanged filtered earplugs on large retail sites tend to like the clearer sound at concerts, and complain about plugs that do not seal in small ears, discomfort when sleeping on the side and less quiet than foam.
What we did, and did not, do
Nobody on our team has used NoiseBudsX. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with Loop's Quiet 2 page, NIOSH derating guidance and the pages that rank for NoiseBudsX. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.
How to use NoiseBudsX for a good seal
Reach over your head, pull the top of your ear up and back, and push the plug in with a slight twist until it seals and your own voice sounds muffled. A good seal matters more than any filter. Clean the plugs after use, keep them in the case, and replace them if the silicone hardens or the filter clogs.
- Wash your hands. Clean hands, clean ears.
- Pull the ear up and back. This straightens the canal.
- Insert with a twist. Until the flanges seal.
- Check the seal. Your voice should sound deeper.
- Remove slowly. Twist to break the seal.
- Clean after use. Mild soap and water, then dry.
- Store in the case. Away from heat and lint.
If they will not seal
The single size may not suit your ears. Loop and others sell several tip sizes; foam plugs fit almost anyone.
Earwax and ear health
Do not push plugs in hard or share them. If your ears feel blocked or sore, stop and see a doctor or pharmacist.

Frequently asked questions
Are NoiseBudsX earbuds or earplugs?
Earplugs. The photos show passive triple-flange silicone plugs with a filter and no electronics, speaker or battery. They reduce noise by sealing the ear canal. They do not play music or use active noise cancellation.
Do NoiseBudsX block out all noise?
No. The page says they instantly block out all environment noise, but no earplug does. Even well-fitted plugs reduce sound by a number of decibels, and loud sounds still reach the inner ear through bone. The page gives no rating.
How much do NoiseBudsX cost?
On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one pair for $49, two for $69, three (two plus one free) for $98, four for $123 and five (three plus two free) for $135, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. A filter cost $7, a case $14 and a 3-year warranty $9.
Can I use NoiseBudsX around heavy machinery?
The page says they block heavy machinery noise but gives no noise reduction rating. For work, shooting or power tools, use hearing protection with a stated NRR or SNR rating and follow your employer's rules.
Can I sleep in NoiseBudsX?
Possibly. Flanged plugs with a stem can press on the ear when you lie on your side. Soft foam plugs are often more comfortable for side sleepers.
What is a good alternative?
Loop Quiet 2 earplugs were listed at $24.95 in the US with a stated 24 dB SNR. Foam earplugs cost very little and often block more noise when fitted well. Musicians' earplugs with flat filters suit concerts.
Are NoiseBudsX legit?
They are a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are 'earbuds' wording for earplugs, no rating, a high price, add-ons and return postage at your cost.
