LungMaster Review: A $59 Inspiratory Muscle Trainer, and What It Can Really Improve
A hand-held breathing trainer that makes you inhale against adjustable resistance. This kind of training has real evidence, but it strengthens breathing muscles rather than enlarging lungs.

Quick answer
Yes, with the right expectations, and one of the more grounded products on this checkout. LungMaster is a hand-held inspiratory muscle trainer: you breathe in hard against adjustable resistance, 30 breaths morning and evening, which matches how this training is commonly done.

Our verdict
Yes, with the right expectations, and one of the more grounded products on this checkout. LungMaster is a hand-held inspiratory muscle trainer: you breathe in hard against adjustable resistance, 30 breaths morning and evening, which matches how this training is commonly done. Research shows it can strengthen breathing muscles and help some athletes. But it does not enlarge your lungs, the full 10-level range is a $13 add-on, and resistance is not stated in standard units. LungMaster scores 4.3 out of 10, held back by add-ons and missing figures.
The short version
- What it is: a hand-held breathing trainer with adjustable inhale resistance.
- Price: $59 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $149 flagged as the best seller.
- Best trait: a type of training with real evidence, and a sensible suggested routine.
- Biggest drawback: "lung capacity" wording, the 10-level range sold extra, and no resistance values.
- Our score: 4.3 out of 10.
Pros & cons
Inspiratory muscle training is one of the better-supported breathing gadgets. The pros reflect that. The cons are about the wording, the add-ons and missing technical details.
What we like
- Inspiratory muscle training has research behind it for breathing strength and some sports performance
- The suggested routine of 30 breaths morning and evening matches common training protocols
- Adjustable resistance with a numbered scale
- Small, simple and drug-free, with no batteries
- The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number
What we don't
- 'Lung capacity enhancer' overstates it: the training strengthens muscles, not lung size
- The full 10-level resistance range is a $13 add-on, though the main photo shows a 0 to 10 scale
- A bite piece and carry bag are a $7 add-on
- No resistance values in cmH2O, so you cannot compare with studied devices
- People with lung or heart conditions should ask a doctor first; the page gives no cautions
- Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works
LungMaster is an angled white tube with a mouthpiece at the top and a clear base with a resistance scale. Inside, a valve or spring makes it harder to breathe in. You twist the base to set the level, seal your lips around the mouthpiece and inhale sharply. Like weights for your arms, the resistance makes the diaphragm and rib muscles work harder, so they get stronger over weeks of practice.

Set the resistance
Step 1: Twist the base to choose a resistance level on the scale, starting low.
Inhale hard through the mouthpiece
Step 2: Seal your lips around the mouthpiece, breathe out fully, then breathe in quickly and deeply against the resistance.
Repeat 30 breaths, twice a day
Step 3: Do about 30 breaths in the morning and 30 in the evening, raising the resistance gradually over the weeks.
The page title calls it a "lung trainer exerciser", "breathing exerciser", "lung capacity enhancer", "abdominal breathing trainer" and "breathing muscles training". The six bullets promise a fast hand-held exerciser, "lung capacity breathing enhancer", a "breathing muscle trainer and recover", adjustable resistance, "just 30 breaths in the morning and by night", and that it is recommended for inspiratory muscle training.
What the page gets right
Thirty breaths twice a day, with gradually rising resistance, is the routine commonly used with inspiratory muscle trainers. The page also names the right category: inspiratory muscle training.
What the page leaves out
There is no resistance range in cmH2O, no instructions on starting level, no cleaning advice and no cautions for people with lung or heart conditions.
Who it's for
LungMaster suits runners, cyclists, swimmers and rowers who want to try breathing-muscle training, singers and wind players, and healthy adults who want a simple exercise for breathlessness on exertion. People with lung or heart conditions should ask a doctor first. Our Better Breathing Sport review covers a different kind of breathing device for athletes.
- Runners, cyclists, swimmers and rowers who want to try breathing-muscle training
- Singers and wind players curious about stronger breathing muscles
- Healthy adults who get breathless climbing stairs and want a simple exercise
Endurance athletes
Breathing muscles tire in long efforts. Strengthening them is the reason athletes use these trainers.
Singers and wind players
Some musicians use breathing trainers for control and stamina, though evidence is thinner here.
Generally healthy adults
If stairs leave you puffed and a doctor has ruled out other causes, a few weeks of training can make breathing feel easier.
Who should skip it
Skip LungMaster without medical advice if you have asthma, COPD or another lung condition, a history of collapsed lung, recent chest surgery, heart problems or a perforated eardrum, or if your breathlessness has not been checked by a doctor.
- Anyone with a lung condition, recent chest surgery or a history of collapsed lung, without medical advice
- People with heart problems or a perforated eardrum, without advice
- Anyone expecting bigger lungs or a fix for breathlessness from an undiagnosed cause
Does inspiratory muscle training with LungMaster really work?
Yes, for breathing-muscle strength, with more modest gains for performance. A 2022 meta-analysis of inspiratory muscle training with a commercial trainer found significant increases in maximal inspiratory pressure and improvements in sports performance measures. Results came from consistent training over weeks. LungMaster works the same way, but publishes no resistance values, so you cannot match it to the studies.
What the research found
The 2022 meta-analysis of inspiratory muscle training pooled trials using a commercial pressure-threshold trainer and reported stronger inspiratory muscles and better performance in some sports tests, with larger benefits in some groups than others.
What this means for you: train consistently for at least four to six weeks before judging it.
"Lung capacity enhancer"
Training strengthens muscles; it does not enlarge the lungs. Breathing may feel easier during exercise because the muscles tire less.
"Breathing muscle trainer and recover"
Inspiratory muscle training is used in some rehabilitation programmes, under clinical guidance. People recovering from illness or surgery should follow their care team's advice.
Resistance in standard units
Studied trainers specify resistance in cmH2O, so people can train at a set share of their maximum. LungMaster's 0 to 10 scale does not say what each level means.
How much does LungMaster cost, and are the add-ons needed?
On 6 October 2026, one LungMaster cost $59, with the five-pack at $149 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered a bite piece and carry bag for $7, a full 10-level resistance range for $13, a USB car adapter for $4 and a 3-year warranty for $9. A Canadian physio store listed the POWERbreathe Plus at C$119.95.
LungMaster price and bundles
| Package | Total | Per trainer |
|---|---|---|
| 1 LungMaster | $59 | $59.00 |
| 2 LungMaster | $89 | $44.50 |
| 3 (buy 2, get 1 free) | $109 | $36.33 |
| 4 LungMaster | $129 | $32.25 |

Prices are in US dollars as listed on 6 October 2026. One trainer per person is enough, and they should not be shared. You can check today's packages on the LungMaster order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab).
Bite piece
For $7, a "bite piece and carrying bag". The image shows a bite-style mouthpiece and the word "Inhale". A bite piece helps some people keep a seal.

10 levels
For $13, "full ten resistance levels". The image shows a base marked 0 to 10 that twists, and the main product photo shows the same scale. Ask what the standard version's range is before paying.

Car adapter and warranty
A $4 USB car adapter has nothing to do with a breathing trainer; skip it. A 3-year warranty for $9 is optional.
Who sells it
The order page names G Com Pte Ltd at 137 Market Street in Singapore, with the email support@g63com.com and a phone number. The footer gives the country as Hong Kong. The page code says charges appear on your card statement as drone720x.com.

Is LungMaster better than POWERbreathe or AirPhysio?
It is cheaper than POWERbreathe, but POWERbreathe publishes its resistance and has been used in research. AirPhysio is a different device, an oscillating airway clearance tool for loosening mucus, not a muscle trainer. For performance training, a pressure-threshold inspiratory trainer like LungMaster is the right type.
| Device | Type | Resistance stated | Research | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LungMaster | Inspiratory trainer | No (0 to 10 scale) | Category, not this model | $59, $72 with 10 levels |
| POWERbreathe Plus | Inspiratory trainer | Yes | Yes | C$119.95 listed |
| AirPhysio | Airway clearance (exhale) | n/a | See our review | See our review |
| Better Breathing Sport | Airway clearance | n/a | See our review | See our review |
LungMaster vs POWERbreathe
Physiostore's listing shows POWERbreathe Plus trainers in light, medium and heavy resistance. Stated ranges and research use make it the more precise choice. That is where a rival wins.
LungMaster vs AirPhysio
Our AirPhysio review covers an exhale device for clearing mucus. Different job, different evidence.

Is LungMaster legit, and what should you check before buying?
LungMaster is a real product from a named seller, and a trainer should arrive if you order. Before buying, check with a doctor if you have any lung or heart condition, ask what resistance range the standard version has, switch from the five-pack and note the card statement name.
Check your health first
What to do: if you have a lung or heart condition, or unexplained breathlessness, see a doctor before training.
Ask about resistance
What to do: email support@g63com.com and ask how many levels the standard version has and what each level means in cmH2O. Keep the reply.
Check the selected bundle
The five-pack for $149 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one trainer.
Card statement name and memberships
The charge appears as drone720x.com, a name unrelated to the product. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.
Refunds and returns
The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost. Used mouthpiece devices may not be returnable for hygiene reasons.
How to buy LungMaster the smart way
- Check with a doctor if you have any condition.
- Open the LungMaster order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and select your country.
- Change the five-pack to one trainer.
- Add the 10 levels if the standard range is limited; skip the car adapter.
- Note the card statement name, drone720x.com.
How did we score LungMaster?
LungMaster scores 4.3 out of 10: claim accuracy 1.0, build durability 0.9, price competitiveness 0.8, usability 1.2 and owner satisfaction 0.4, each out of 2. The device type has real evidence and the suggested routine is sensible. The score falls on "lung capacity enhancer" wording, the full resistance range sold as an add-on, no resistance values in standard units, no safety cautions and no independent reviews of this model.
How the score breaks down
We use the five criteria on our how we test page, each out of 2.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Claim accuracy | 1.0 / 2 | Right category and routine; "lung capacity" overstated |
| Build durability | 0.9 / 2 | Simple plastic valve; no spare parts mentioned |
| Price competitiveness | 0.8 / 2 | Cheaper than POWERbreathe, less precise |
| Usability | 1.2 / 2 | Easy to use; levels unexplained |
| Owner satisfaction | 0.4 / 2 | No independent ratings for this listing |
| Total | 4.3 / 10 |
What owners say
We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for LungMaster by that name. Owners of similar generic inspiratory trainers on large retail sites tend to say breathing feels easier after a few weeks, and complain that the lowest levels are already hard, the scale is vague and the plastic valve can stick.
What we did, and did not, do
Nobody on our team has used LungMaster. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with the 2022 meta-analysis of inspiratory muscle training, a POWERbreathe listing and the pages that rank for LungMaster. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.
How to use LungMaster for steady progress
Start at the lowest level, sit or stand upright, breathe out fully, then inhale as hard and fast as you can through the mouthpiece and breathe out slowly. Do 30 breaths morning and evening, and raise the level only when 30 feels easy. Wash the mouthpiece regularly, and stop if you feel dizzy.
- Start low. Level 0 to 2.
- Sit or stand tall. Shoulders relaxed.
- Breathe out fully first. Then inhale hard.
- Breathe out slowly. Without the device if easier.
- 30 breaths, twice a day. About 5 minutes.
- Increase gradually. When 30 becomes easy.
- Stop if dizzy. Rest and slow down.
Cleaning
Rinse the mouthpiece in warm soapy water every few days, then air dry.
Track progress
Note your level each week. Gradual increases over six weeks are normal.

What else do people ask about breathing trainers?
Most questions are about asthma, how long to train and expiratory training. People with asthma should ask a doctor, most studies run four to twelve weeks, and expiratory training is a separate device type. Browse our health gadget reviews and our best health gadgets guide for more.
Can people with asthma use it?
Some do, under medical guidance. Ask your doctor or asthma nurse.
How long until I notice a difference?
Many people notice easier breathing during exercise after four to six weeks.
Should I train breathing out too?
Expiratory trainers exist, but inspiratory training has more research behind it.
Can I use it during exercise?
No. Use it as a separate routine, not mid-workout.
Frequently asked questions
Does LungMaster work?
Inspiratory muscle trainers like it can strengthen the muscles you breathe in with. A 2022 meta-analysis found inspiratory muscle training increased maximal inspiratory pressure and improved some measures of sports performance. Results depend on training consistently for weeks with enough resistance.
Will LungMaster increase my lung capacity?
Not in the sense of making lungs bigger. Breathing-muscle training improves the strength and endurance of the diaphragm and other inspiratory muscles. That can make breathing feel easier during exercise, but lung volume is largely fixed.
How much does LungMaster cost?
On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one LungMaster for $59, two for $89, three (two plus one free) for $109, four for $129 and five (three plus two free) for $149, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. A bite piece cost $7, 10 levels $13 and a 3-year warranty $9.
How should I use it?
The page suggests 30 breaths in the morning and 30 at night, which matches common training protocols. Start at a low level, breathe out fully, inhale hard and fast, and raise the resistance gradually as it gets easier.
Who should not use a breathing trainer?
Ask a doctor first if you have asthma, COPD or another lung condition, have had a collapsed lung or recent chest surgery, have heart problems or a perforated eardrum. Stop if you feel dizzy or unwell.
Is LungMaster the same as POWERbreathe?
It works the same way as POWERbreathe and similar inspiratory trainers, but it is a different, generic design and its resistance is not stated in standard units. POWERbreathe publishes resistance ranges and has been used in studies.
Is LungMaster legit?
It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are the 'lung capacity' wording, the 10-level range sold as an add-on, no resistance figures and return postage at your cost.
