Our verdict
No, not as a replacement for your toothbrush. uSmile Pro is a U-shaped silicone mouthpiece that vibrates and glows blue, sold to clean and whiten all your teeth at once. It is hands-free and gentle, which could help a few people with limited hand movement. But an independent 2020 trial found a U-shaped automatic brush was not effective at removing plaque, blue light alone does not whiten teeth, and at $99 it costs more than proven electric toothbrushes. uSmile Pro scores 3.4 out of 10, held back by the evidence.
The short version
- What it is: a cordless U-shaped silicone mouthpiece that vibrates and emits blue light.
- Price: $99 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $297 flagged as the best seller.
- Best trait: hands-free and gentle on gums.
- Biggest drawback: a trial found this design did not remove plaque; the light does not whiten.
- Our score: 3.4 out of 10.
Pros & cons
The appeal of brushing every tooth at once in seconds is obvious. The pros are about convenience. The cons are about whether it cleans at all, according to independent research.
What we like
- Hands-free: you bite on the mouthpiece and it vibrates
- Soft silicone is gentle on gums and easy to rinse
- Cordless with a built-in battery
- Could help some people with limited hand movement
- The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number
What we don't
- A 2020 randomised trial found a U-shaped automatic brush was not effective at removing plaque
- Blue light alone does not whiten teeth; the page names no whitening gel
- One size of mouthpiece cannot fit every mouth, so some teeth may be missed
- A charging base and an extra whitening light are sold as add-ons
- The charging base image carries another brand, V-White
- At $99, it costs more than proven electric toothbrushes

How it works
uSmile Pro is a handle with a U-shaped silicone mouthpiece covered in soft bristles. You add toothpaste, put the mouthpiece in your mouth and bite gently. One button starts a sonic vibration and a blue LED. The mouthpiece shakes against the teeth for a short cycle; the main image shows "10-15s" and 360° arrows. You then spit, rinse and wash the mouthpiece.

Add toothpaste and bite
Step 1: Put toothpaste on the U-shaped silicone mouthpiece, place it in your mouth and close gently so the bristles touch your teeth.
Press the button
Step 2: One button starts sonic vibration and a blue light. The mouthpiece vibrates against the teeth for a short cycle, which the photo suggests is around 10 to 15 seconds.
Rinse and clean the mouthpiece
Step 3: Spit, rinse your mouth and wash the mouthpiece under running water. Let it dry before the next use.
The page title lists "advance silicone 360° toothbrush, deep cleaning toothbrush, light therapy whitening toothbrush, teeth whitening toothbrush". The bullets promise one-button deep cleaning, durable antibacterial silicone, sonic vibration "for real results", a wireless design with a built-in battery, a "patented technology U-shaped silicon toothbrush with light therapy" and simple use. It gives no patent number, cycle time, battery life, mouthpiece sizes or study.
Why brushing technique matters
Effective brushing moves bristles along the gum line and into the grooves of each tooth, at the right angle, for about two minutes. A mouthpiece that sits in one position for seconds cannot adjust to the shape of each tooth.
One size, many mouths
Mouths vary in size and shape. A single U-shaped mouthpiece may press on some teeth and miss others, especially at the back and along the gum line.
Who it's for
uSmile Pro could suit someone with limited hand movement who struggles with a normal toothbrush, after asking a dentist, or a gadget fan who uses it in addition to normal brushing. It should not replace a regular toothbrush for anyone.
- People with limited hand movement who struggle with a normal toothbrush, after asking their dentist
- Gadget fans who want to try a U-shaped brush alongside normal brushing
- Not anyone replacing a regular toothbrush
People with limited dexterity
Arthritis, tremor or disability can make brushing hard. A hands-free device sounds ideal. A conventional electric brush with a thick handle, or help from a carer, may clean better. Ask a dentist or hygienist.
Busy mornings
Brushing in 15 seconds is tempting. The evidence suggests it does not clean as well as two minutes with a normal brush.
Gadget fans
If you like trying new gadgets, use it alongside your usual routine, not instead of it.
Who should skip it
Skip uSmile Pro if you want the best plaque removal, have braces or dental work, crowded or unusually shaped teeth, expect light to whiten, or are buying for a child without a dentist's advice.
- Anyone wanting the best plaque removal; a normal electric brush is proven
- People with braces, bridges, crowded or unusually shaped teeth
- Anyone expecting light to whiten teeth
- Children, unless a dentist recommends it
Do U-shaped toothbrushes like uSmile Pro actually clean teeth?
An independent trial found a U-shaped automatic brush was not effective at removing plaque. The 2020 randomised cross-over study compared a U-shaped automatic electric toothbrush with a conventional powered brush, people's usual brushing and no brushing. The U-shaped brush did not remove plaque effectively. A later study of a Y-shaped design found it less effective than manual brushing.
What the trial found
The 2020 study in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health tested a U-shaped automatic toothbrush in a controlled cross-over design. The authors concluded that the U-shaped brush they tested was not effective in removing dental plaque, unlike the conventional powered toothbrush.
What this means for you: keep brushing with a normal toothbrush twice a day.
What does work: conventional powered brushes
The Cochrane review of powered versus manual toothbrushing, covering 56 studies and over 5,000 people, found powered brushes reduced plaque by 21% and gingivitis by 11% after three months compared with manual brushes. That evidence is for standard brush heads.
"Sonic and vibration cleaning for real results"
Sonic brushes work by moving bristles fast against each tooth. A silicone mouthpiece pressed loosely around all teeth spreads that movement thin. The page gives no frequency, study or result.
"Patented technology"
The page gives no patent number. A patent, even if it exists, protects an idea; it does not show the product works.
Between teeth
No toothbrush cleans well between teeth. Floss, interdental brushes or a water flosser are needed for that.
Does uSmile Pro whiten teeth?
There is no reason to think the blue light whitens teeth on its own. Whitening that changes tooth colour uses bleaching agents, usually peroxide-based gels, sometimes with a light. The page names no whitening gel. Blue light can make teeth look brighter in a photo, which is not the same as whitening.
How whitening works
Peroxide-based whitening gels break down stains inside the tooth enamel. Lights used with some kits may speed up the gel slightly; the light does nothing without the gel.
The extra whitening light for $9
The add-on promises "better and faster whitening". Its image shows the mouthpiece glowing blue. Without a whitening gel, more light does not whiten.

Whitening kits we have reviewed
Our PurelyWHITE Deluxe review and Laughland review cover whitening kits that use gels, with their own trade-offs. Our Laughland vs PurelyWHITE comparison weighs the two.
How much does uSmile Pro cost, and what do the add-ons add?
On 6 October 2026, one uSmile Pro cost $99, with the five-pack at $297 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered an extra whitening light for $9, a charging base for $14, a car USB charger for $4 and a 3-year warranty for $24. The page does not say how the standard brush charges, so the base may be needed.
uSmile Pro price and bundles
| Package | Total | Per brush |
|---|---|---|
| 1 uSmile Pro | $99 | $99.00 |
| 2 uSmile Pro | $159 | $79.50 |
| 3 (buy 2, get 1 free) | $197 | $65.67 |
| 4 uSmile Pro | $249 | $62.25 |
| 5 (buy 3, get 2 free), best seller | $297 | $59.40 |
Prices are in US dollars as listed on 6 October 2026. A toothbrush is personal, so one is enough to try. You can check today's packages on the uSmile Pro order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab).
The charging base
For $14, a charging base offers fast charging. Its image shows the handle glowing on a white base printed "V-White", another brand, with a separate silicone mouthpiece beside it. What to do: ask support how the standard brush charges before ordering.

Replacement mouthpieces
The page does not list spare mouthpieces. Toothbrush heads need replacing every few months. Ask whether replacements are sold and at what price.
Warranty
The 3-year warranty costs $24, about a quarter of the price.
The "regular price"
Add-ons are shown against crossed-out prices, with a countdown timer on the page. We found no evidence that uSmile Pro sells at a higher regular price. U-shaped silicone brushes of this design are sold under many names.
Who sells it
The order page names G Com Pte Ltd at 137 Market Street in Singapore, with the email support@g63com.com and a phone number. The footer gives the country as Hong Kong. The page code says charges appear on your card statement as panameedia.

Is uSmile Pro better than a regular electric toothbrush?
No. A conventional electric toothbrush has good evidence for removing plaque and reducing gum inflammation, and many cost less than $99. uSmile Pro's only advantage is hands-free use. For whitening, a gel-based kit is needed, and for between teeth, floss or a water flosser.
| Option | Plaque removal | Whitening | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| uSmile Pro | Not effective for a similar brush in a 2020 trial | Light only | $99 |
| Conventional electric brush | 21% less plaque at three months vs manual, Cochrane | No | Varies, often less |
| SonicX PRO | See our review | See our review | See our review |
| Whitening gel kit | No | Yes, with peroxide | Varies |
uSmile Pro vs a conventional electric brush
A rotating or sonic brush with a small head, used for two minutes, is backed by the Cochrane evidence. That is the clearest case where a rival wins.

Is uSmile Pro legit, and what should you check before buying?

How did we score uSmile Pro?
uSmile Pro scores 3.4 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.4, build durability 0.9, price competitiveness 0.5, usability 1.1 and owner satisfaction 0.5, each out of 2. It is hands-free and gentle. The score falls on independent evidence that this design does not remove plaque well, a light whitening claim with no gel, a charging base sold separately, another brand on the base and a price above proven brushes.
How the score breaks down
We use the five criteria on our how we test page, each out of 2.

What owners say
We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for uSmile Pro by that name. Owners of similar U-shaped brushes on large retail sites often say they like the novelty but that teeth do not feel as clean as with a normal brush, and that the mouthpiece does not fit well.
What we did, and did not, do
Nobody on our team has used uSmile Pro. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with the 2020 trial of a U-shaped toothbrush, the Cochrane review summary on powered toothbrushes and the pages that rank for uSmile Pro. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.
How to use uSmile Pro without neglecting your teeth
Use uSmile Pro only as an extra, keep brushing twice a day for two minutes with a normal or electric toothbrush, clean between your teeth daily and see your dentist regularly. If you do use it, bite gently, rinse and dry the mouthpiece after each use and replace it as often as a normal brush head.
- Brush normally twice a day. Two minutes with fluoride toothpaste.
- Clean between teeth daily. Floss, interdental brushes or a water flosser.
- Use uSmile Pro as an extra. Not instead.
- Bite gently. Hard biting presses silicone on gums.
- Rinse and dry it. Bacteria grow in damp mouthpieces.
- Replace it regularly. Every three months, like a brush head.
- See your dentist. Regular check-ups catch problems early.
Children
Children need supervised brushing with a child-sized brush. Do not use a U-shaped adult mouthpiece on a child.
Sensitive gums
If your gums bleed or feel sore, stop and see a dentist. Bleeding gums can be a sign of gum disease.
Storage
Keep it upright and dry, not in a closed case while wet.

What else do people ask about U-shaped toothbrushes?
Most questions are about whether they replace brushing, whether they suit braces and how long they take. They do not replace brushing according to independent research, they are not designed for braces, and their short cycles are part of why they clean less. A conventional electric brush is the better buy.
Do dentists recommend U-shaped toothbrushes?
The independent research we found does not support them over conventional brushing.
Can I use it with braces?
Braces need careful brushing around brackets. A U-shaped mouthpiece is not designed for them. Ask your orthodontist.
How long should I brush?
Dental bodies commonly recommend two minutes, twice a day, with fluoride toothpaste.
Does it need special toothpaste?
The page does not say. Use a fluoride toothpaste unless your dentist advises otherwise.
Frequently asked questions
Do U-shaped toothbrushes like uSmile Pro work?
Not well, according to an independent trial. A 2020 randomised cross-over study found the U-shaped automatic electric toothbrush it tested was not effective at removing dental plaque, while a conventional powered brush was. A later study of a Y-shaped design also found it less effective than manual brushing.
Does the blue light whiten teeth?
Not on its own. Teeth whitening that changes tooth colour uses bleaching agents such as peroxide. The uSmile Pro page names no whitening gel. Blue light may brighten how teeth look in photos, but that is not whitening.
How much does uSmile Pro cost?
On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one uSmile Pro for $99, two for $159, three (two plus one free) for $197, four for $249 and five (three plus two free) for $297, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. An extra light cost $9, a charging base $14 and a 3-year warranty $24.
Is an electric toothbrush better than a manual one?
Conventional powered toothbrushes have good evidence. A Cochrane review found they reduced plaque by 21% and gingivitis by 11% after three months compared with manual brushes. That evidence is for standard powered brush heads, not U-shaped mouthpieces.
Can uSmile Pro clean between teeth?
No toothbrush cleans well between teeth. Floss, interdental brushes or a water flosser do that job. A U-shaped mouthpiece may also miss the backs of teeth and the gum line.
Is it safe?
Soft silicone on teeth is gentle. If it does not fit your mouth, it may press on gums. Stop if it causes pain, and ask your dentist before using it with braces, implants or gum disease.
Is uSmile Pro legit?
It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are the evidence on U-shaped brushes, the light whitening claim, a charging base sold separately, another brand's name on the base and return postage at your cost.
