Our verdict
Worth it only as a cheap bathroom speaker you will not drop in water. WaterBOOM 360 is a small round Bluetooth speaker with a rubber shell, a carabiner and a call button, and for podcasts in the shower it will do the job. But it is sold as waterproof with no IP rating, its six-hour battery is short, and the suction cup that makes it a shower speaker costs extra. For about $30 more, the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 is rated IP67, floats and lasts 14 hours. WaterBOOM 360 scores 4.3 out of 10, held back by the missing water rating and weak battery.
The short version
- What it is: a palm-sized round Bluetooth speaker with a rubber shell, carabiner and hands-free call button.
- Price: $49 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $135 flagged as the best seller.
- Best trait: small, cheap and easy to hang in a bathroom or on a bag.
- Biggest drawback: "waterproof" with no IP rating, and only six hours of playback.
- Our score: 4.3 out of 10.
Pros & cons
The pros are about size, price and convenience: a speaker you can hang anywhere and forget. The cons are about the claims that matter most for a water speaker, which the page never puts to a standard test.
What we like
- Small, round and light enough to clip to a bag with the built-in carabiner
- Rubber shell and splash-proof design suit a bathroom or a poolside table
- Takes hands-free phone calls through a built-in microphone
- Works with any Bluetooth phone, Android or iPhone
- Cheaper than big-brand waterproof speakers
What we don't
- Sold as waterproof with no IP rating, so you cannot tell if it survives a dunk
- Six hours of battery is short next to rivals that last 12 to 20 hours
- The suction cup for the shower wall is a $9 add-on
- 'Advanced HD sound' comes with no driver size, power output or frequency range
- A tested IP67 speaker from a major brand costs about $30 more and lasts more than twice as long

How it works
WaterBOOM 360 is a standard Bluetooth speaker in a splash-resistant case. Your phone streams audio to it wirelessly, and a small driver behind the grille plays it back. A rubber rim protects the edges, a flap or seal usually covers the charging port, and buttons on the shell handle power, volume, track skipping and calls. A microphone lets you talk on speakerphone.

The round shape, the rubber rim in a bright colour and the carabiner loop at the top are a design you will see from many sellers. It is popular because it is cheap to make, easy to hang and forgiving of knocks. That is not a bad thing in itself, but it does mean the WaterBOOM name adds little beyond the checkout and its add-ons.
Charge it and switch it on
Step 1: Charge the speaker over USB, then hold the power button until it enters pairing mode and the light flashes.
Pair it with your phone
Step 2: Choose the speaker in your phone's Bluetooth menu. It plays whatever audio the phone sends, from music apps, podcasts or video.
Hang it up and play
Step 3: Clip it to a towel rail or a bag with the carabiner, or stick it to tiles with the optional suction cup. The buttons control volume, tracks and calls.
The page lists six features: waterproof for showers and holidays, "advanced HD sound" with a 6-hour battery, phone calls, a stable Bluetooth connection, portability and Android and iOS compatibility. It gives no Bluetooth version, driver size, power output in watts, frequency range, charging time or weight. Those are the figures you would use to compare it with other speakers, and none of them is there.
Who it's for
WaterBOOM 360 suits someone who wants background music or a podcast while they shower, shave or do their make-up, and who wants to spend as little as possible. It also suits a casual walker who wants a little sound clipped to a backpack strap for an hour or two.
- People who want cheap background music or podcasts in the bathroom
- Buyers who want a small speaker to clip to a bag on short trips
- Anyone who takes calls while getting ready and wants them on speaker
Shower listeners
This is the job the design was made for. A small speaker hung on a towel rail or stuck to the tiles keeps your phone away from the water and the steam. You do not need much volume or bass in a small tiled room, because the hard surfaces reflect sound. A six-hour battery covers a week of short showers between charges.
People who take calls while getting ready
The call button lets you answer without picking up a wet phone. In practice, a running shower drowns your voice for the person on the other end, so this works better while you are shaving or drying your hair than under the water itself.
Casual hikers and dog walkers
The carabiner clips to a bag or belt loop. For a podcast on a short walk, it is enough. For a long day outside, six hours of battery and no tested water rating make it a gamble in the rain. Think about other walkers and wildlife too, as many trails ask for music to be kept off.
Kids' rooms and gifts
A cheap, rubbery speaker is a safer bet for a child than an expensive one. It is light, easy to pair, and the rubber shell protects it from knocks. Keep volume in mind, because small speakers used close to the ear can still be loud.
Renters and students
A speaker that needs no installation, no drilling and no mains socket suits a rented bathroom or a shared flat. It packs in a drawer when you move. At $49 it is also a small loss if it gets left behind.
Older relatives
Big buttons and a simple pairing routine can make a small speaker a good way to bring radio or podcasts into a bathroom for an older relative. Pair it for them once and show them the volume buttons. If they want radio, set up a radio app on their phone rather than relying on the add-on.
Who should skip it
Skip WaterBOOM 360 if you want a speaker for the pool, the beach or the boat, need a full day of battery, or care about sound quality outdoors. Tested rivals do all three better.
- Anyone who wants a speaker that can be dropped in a pool or used in the rain all day
- People who need more than a few hours of play on one charge
- Listeners who care about bass and volume outdoors
Is WaterBOOM 360 really waterproof?
The page says waterproof but gives no IP rating, so you cannot know how much water it survives. An IP rating is the international test for water and dust protection. IPX4 means splash-resistant from any direction; IPX7 means it survived a metre of water for 30 minutes. Sponsored pages claim WaterBOOM 360 can go a metre deep for 30 minutes, but the offer page does not say so, and we found no test.
What an IP rating tells you
IP ratings come from the IEC 60529 standard. The first digit covers dust, the second water; an X means that part was not tested. West Marine's guide to IP ratings explains the scale for gear used around water. A speaker rated IPX4 copes with splashes and rain. IPX5 and IPX6 handle jets of water. IPX7 survives being dropped in shallow water for half an hour, and IPX8 goes further, to a depth the maker states.
Why "waterproof" alone means little
Anyone can print "waterproof" on a box. A rating means the product, or one like it, was put through a defined test. Without one, you do not know whether the seals cover the charging port, whether the grille lets water reach the driver, or how long it lasts in a steamy room. Many small round shower speakers of this design are rated IPX4 or IPX5, which is fine for splashes and not for a dunk.
What the sponsored pages claim
Articles that rank for WaterBOOM 360 say it is "100% waterproof", survives a metre of water for 30 minutes, covers a 100-foot range and connects to several devices at once. None of those figures appears on the offer page our link opens. Because they come from promotional articles that name no source, we have not counted them.
What to do: email support before you buy and ask for the IP rating in writing. If the answer is IPX4 or none, keep it out of pools and baths.
The charging port is the weak spot
On small speakers, water usually gets in through the charging port. Many have a rubber flap that must be pressed fully closed, and a flap left slightly open lets steam and water in. If yours has one, check it before every shower. Never charge the speaker while it is wet or in the bathroom.
Salt water and pool water
Sea water and chlorinated pool water are harder on seals and metal contacts than fresh water. Even a rated speaker should be rinsed in fresh water after a splash at the beach or pool and left to dry. On a speaker with no stated rating, salt spray that dries inside the port can corrode the charging contacts within weeks.
Sand and dust
The page says nothing about dust. An IP rating's first digit covers it, and a speaker rated IP6X is dust-tight. Sand in the grille or the port is a common way beach speakers fail. Keep it in a bag on the beach and brush the port clean before charging.
Steam is a test too
A hot shower fills the room with steam that settles inside anything not fully sealed. Over months, moisture can corrode contacts and crackle the speaker. Hanging it outside the shower spray, near the door, and letting it dry after use extends its life whatever the rating.
How does WaterBOOM 360 sound, and how long does it last?
The page promises "advanced HD sound" and 6 hours of battery, and gives no figures to back the sound claim. A speaker this size has one small driver, so expect clear voices and modest volume, with little bass. Six hours is a short battery for a portable speaker; rivals at similar or slightly higher prices claim 10 to 14 hours or more.
What "HD sound" means here
"HD" has no agreed meaning for speakers. Bluetooth audio quality depends on the codec your phone and the speaker share, and small speakers almost always use SBC, the basic codec. The size of the driver and the box matter more than any label. A palm-sized round speaker will sound fine for speech and light music in a small room and thin outdoors.
The "360" name
The name suggests sound in every direction. The photos show a single front-facing grille, which points sound one way. In a tiled bathroom that hardly matters, because the walls bounce the sound around. Outdoors, you will hear it best from the front.
Battery life in practice
The six-hour figure is a maximum, usually measured at moderate volume. Loud playback and cold weather shorten it. For daily showers, six hours is plenty between charges. For a day at the beach or a camping trip, you would need to recharge from a power bank, which the speaker allows over USB.
Calls and microphone
Small speakers pick up your voice well in a quiet room. Water noise, a fan or wind make it hard for the caller to hear you. If you take a lot of calls, test it in the room where you will use it during the first week.
Bluetooth range and stability
The page promises a "stable Bluetooth connection" without a range figure. Bluetooth speakers commonly manage about 10 metres in open space, less through walls. Keep your phone in the next room and the speaker may drop out. Leaving the phone on a shelf just outside the shower is usually close enough.
Volume and your hearing
Small speakers distort before they get dangerously loud, but holding one close to your ear in a noisy room can still push the level up. If you need to raise your voice to talk over it at arm's length, it is loud enough to matter over long periods. Keep it at a level where you can still hear the shower running.
Podcasts and audiobooks
Speech is where small speakers do best. Voices sit in the middle of the frequency range, which a small driver handles well, and a tiled room adds clarity. If most of what you play is talk radio, podcasts or audiobooks, a speaker like this is a reasonable fit for the price.
Parties and outdoor gatherings
For a group in a garden or on a beach, a palm-sized speaker struggles. Sound spreads out in open air with nothing to reflect it, and bass all but disappears. A larger speaker with a published power figure and a long battery will serve a group far better.
What owners of this design report
We found no independent reviews of WaterBOOM 360 by that name. Owners of similar round shower speakers on large retail sites tend to praise the size, the suction cup and the price, and complain about modest volume, buttons that get stiff and units that stop charging after water gets into the port.
How much does WaterBOOM 360 cost, and what do the add-ons add?
On 6 October 2026, one WaterBOOM 360 cost $49, with the five-pack at $135 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered a suction cup and hiking hook for $9, an FM radio upgrade for $4, a car power supply for $5 and a 3-year warranty for $9. The suction cup is what turns it into a true shower-wall speaker, so budget for it if that is your plan.

Prices are in US dollars as listed on 6 October 2026. Buy one first unless you already know you want speakers for several bathrooms. You can check today's packages on the WaterBOOM 360 order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab).
The suction cup and hook
The $9 add-on adds "a suction cup and hiking hook" to attach the speaker to a shower wall or a backpack. The add-on image shows a teal speaker on a tiled wall beside a running shower. Since the carabiner already appears on the main product photo, the suction cup is the part you are paying for.

The FM radio upgrade
For $4, the checkout offers FM radio, with an instruction to plug a disconnected USB cord into the port to act as an aerial. That suggests the radio is in the hardware already and the upgrade unlocks or adds it, but the page does not say. The image is a generic radio app icon. What to do: ask support what the upgrade changes before adding it.

What it costs against the competition
With the suction cup, one WaterBOOM 360 comes to $58 before any warranty. The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 lists at $79.99 with a tested IP67 rating and 14 hours of play. The $22 difference buys proven water resistance and more than twice the battery, which is the main reason we would spend the extra if water is part of the plan.
Battery replacement
The page does not say whether the battery can be replaced. On sealed speakers of this size it usually cannot without opening the case and breaking the seals. When the battery wears out after a few hundred charge cycles, the speaker is effectively finished.
Car power supply and warranty
The $5 car power supply is a USB car charger. If you own one, skip it. The 3-year warranty costs $9. The seller's terms already cover defective goods for two years once you have a returns number, so the extra year is the main thing on offer.
The "regular price"
Add-ons are shown against crossed-out prices, with a countdown timer on the page. We found no evidence that WaterBOOM 360 sells at a higher regular price. Round shower speakers of this exact shape, with the rubber rim and carabiner, are sold under many names by many sellers, which suggests a common factory design.
Who sells it
The order page names G Com Pte Ltd at 137 Market Street in Singapore, with the email support@g63com.com and a phone number. The footer gives the country as Hong Kong. The page code says charges appear on your card statement as panameedia.

Is WaterBOOM 360 better than a Wonderboom or other budget speakers?
No: the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 costs about $30 more and beats it on every published figure. The Wonderboom 4 is rated IP67, floats, survives 1.5-metre drops and is rated for 14 hours of play, against WaterBOOM's six hours and no rating. If you only want shower podcasts, WaterBOOM 360 is cheaper. For anything near a pool or outdoors, the tested speaker is the better buy.

| WaterBOOM 360 | Not stated | Up to 6 hours | Calls, carabiner; suction cup $9 | $49 |
| Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 | IP67, floats | 14 hours | 1.5 m drop-proof, outdoor mode | $79.99 |

WaterBOOM 360 vs Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4
Ultimate Ears lists the Wonderboom 4 at $79.99, with an IP67 rating against dust and water, a design that floats, protection from 1.5-metre drops, 14 hours of battery, a 40-metre range and an outdoor mode tuned for open spaces. The names sound alike, but the two products are not in the same class. This is the clearest case where a rival wins.
WaterBOOM 360 vs other cheap shower speakers
Many round shower speakers with a suction cup and a carabiner sell for similar or lower prices from large retailers, often with a stated IPX4 or IPX5 rating and a returns process you can use locally. If you find one with a rating and the suction cup included, it beats WaterBOOM 360 on clarity of what you are buying.
WaterBOOM 360 vs Anything Speaker
Our Anything Speaker review looks at a vibration speaker that turns a table or window into the sound source. It is a novelty with different strengths, not a water speaker, but it shows how much a speaker's surroundings shape what you hear.
WaterBOOM 360 vs waterproof earbuds
If you want music while swimming or running in the rain, a speaker is the wrong tool. Our SoundPRO Sport review covers sports earbuds sold through the same checkout, and our SafeSleeve Air-Tube Headphones review looks at a wired design. Check any earbud's own IP rating before you take it in water.
If a cheap bathroom speaker is all you need, you can see today's bundles on the WaterBOOM 360 offer page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and pick a single unit.

Is WaterBOOM 360 legit, and what should you check before buying?
WaterBOOM 360 is a real product from a named seller, and a speaker should arrive if you order. Before you buy, ask for the IP rating, switch the order to one speaker, decide whether you need the suction cup, note the card statement name and remember that return postage is yours to pay.
Ask for the water rating
What to do: email support@g63com.com and ask for the IP rating. Keep the reply. If the speaker fails after a splash that its rating should cover, that email supports a defect claim.
Check the selected bundle
The five-pack for $135 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change it to one speaker before you enter your details.
Card statement name and memberships
The page code says charges appear as panameedia. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: note the statement name, and read every checkbox and post-payment page.
Refunds and returns
The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost. Water damage may be refused as misuse if the seller says the speaker was never meant to be submerged.
What to do: test it in the first week, keep it out of standing water, and contact support at once if it fails.
Safety marks
The page shows no FCC, CE or UKCA marking, and does not name the factory. Battery products sold in the US, UK and EU are expected to meet radio and electrical rules. What to do: look for the marks on the speaker and its box when it arrives, and stop using it if the battery swells, smells or gets hot while charging.
Delivery and support
The seller ships from overseas and gives no delivery estimate on the page. What to do: save your confirmation email and, if nothing arrives within three weeks, ask support for tracking.
Product name and model
The speaker in the photos has no visible model number, and the page does not name the factory. That matters if you ever need a replacement part or a manual. What to do: when it arrives, photograph the label on the back or under the flap and keep it with your order email. A model number makes support conversations and warranty claims much easier.
How to buy WaterBOOM 360 the smart way
- Open the WaterBOOM 360 order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and select your country.
- Change the five-pack to a single speaker.
- Add the $9 suction cup only if you want it on a shower wall.
- Skip the car charger if you own one, and ask about the radio before adding it.
- Note the card statement name, panameedia, and save your order email.
- Charge and test it the day it arrives, and keep the box for 30 days.
How did we score WaterBOOM 360?
WaterBOOM 360 scores 4.3 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.8, build durability 0.9, price competitiveness 0.8, usability 1.3 and owner satisfaction 0.5, each out of 2. It is an easy, cheap bathroom speaker. The score falls because "waterproof" comes with no rating, "HD sound" with no figures, the battery is short, the suction cup costs extra and we found no independent owner ratings.
How the score breaks down
We use the five criteria on our how we test page, each out of 2.

|---|---|---|
| Claim accuracy | 0.8 / 2 | "Waterproof" and "HD sound" with no rating or specs; 6-hour battery stated plainly |
| Build durability | 0.9 / 2 | Rubber shell protects from knocks; water resistance untested |
| Price competitiveness | 0.8 / 2 | $49 is cheap, but common designs with ratings sell for similar money |
| Usability | 1.3 / 2 | Simple pairing, call button and carabiner |
| Owner satisfaction | 0.5 / 2 | No independent ratings; similar speakers draw port and volume complaints |
| Total | 4.3 / 10 |
What owners say
We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for WaterBOOM 360 by that name. Owners of similar round shower speakers on large retail sites tend to like the size, suction cup and price, and to report modest volume and units that fail after water gets into the charging port.
What we did, and did not, do
Nobody on our team has used WaterBOOM 360. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with Ultimate Ears' Wonderboom 4 page, West Marine's guide to IP ratings and the pages that rank for WaterBOOM 360. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.
How to use WaterBOOM 360 for the best results
Hang WaterBOOM 360 outside the direct spray, keep the charging flap closed, charge it dry and away from the bathroom, and keep it out of pools and baths until the seller confirms a rating. Pair it with the phone before you step into the shower, keep the phone within a few metres, and let the speaker dry after each use.
- Pair it once, outside the bathroom. Hold the power button until the light flashes, then pick it in your phone's Bluetooth menu.
- Hang it out of the spray. A towel rail or the wall by the door gets enough sound with less water.
- Check the port flap every time. It must be fully pressed in before any water reaches the speaker.
- Keep your phone close. A shelf just outside the shower avoids drop-outs through walls.
- Charge it dry. Wipe it, let it air for an hour and charge it in another room.
- Keep the volume moderate. You will get closer to the six-hour figure and less distortion.
- Do not submerge it. Without a rating, a bath or a pool is a risk.
Getting the most sound in a small room
Place the speaker facing into the room, not into a corner, and a little above head height. Tiles reflect sound well, so you rarely need full volume. If it sounds harsh, turn it down a notch and the distortion usually goes.
Using the suction cup
Suction cups hold best on smooth, clean, flat tiles. Wipe the tile and the cup, press firmly and check it after a few minutes. Grout lines and textured tiles break the seal. A cup that falls can drop the speaker into the bath, so test it before relying on it.
Taking it on a walk
Clip the carabiner to a bag strap, not your waistband, so it does not bounce. Pack it in a bag if heavy rain starts. Turn it off when you meet other people on the trail.
If it will not pair
Turn Bluetooth off and on on your phone, forget the speaker in your phone's list, then hold the speaker's power button until it flashes again. If it paired before and suddenly will not, charge it fully, as low battery often blocks pairing.
If it crackles after a shower
Switch it off, dry it with a towel, leave the port flap open in a dry, warm room for a day and try again. If the crackle stays, water has probably reached the driver, and you should contact support while you are inside the guarantee window.
Using it in a steamy bathroom without a fan
Bathrooms with no extractor fan or window stay humid for an hour or more after a shower. Moisture in the air finds its way into seams that a splash never reaches. If your bathroom has no ventilation, take the speaker out of the room after each shower and let it sit somewhere dry. It costs you ten seconds and adds months to the speaker's life.
Pairing with a new phone
If you change phones or want a partner to use it, the speaker usually connects to the last device it knew. Turn Bluetooth off on the old phone first, then hold the power button on the speaker until it flashes and pair the new one. Most small speakers remember a handful of devices but connect to one at a time.
Keeping the rubber clean
Soap scum and shampoo build up on rubber and on the grille. Wipe it with a damp cloth and a drop of washing-up liquid every couple of weeks, then wipe again with plain water. Avoid bleach and bathroom sprays, which can harden the rubber and make the buttons stiff.
Long-term care
Rinse it with fresh water if it gets splashed with salt water or chlorinated water, then let it dry fully. Charge it at least every few weeks if you do not use it, as lithium batteries left flat for months can stop holding a charge.

What else do people ask about shower speakers?
Most questions are about safety near water, whether phones can stream through walls and whether cheap speakers last. A battery speaker is low risk in a bathroom if you never charge it there, most phones reach a few metres through a door, and cheap speakers usually fail at the charging port first. Browse our audio reviews for other speakers and headphones we have checked.
Is it safe to use a Bluetooth speaker in the shower?
A battery speaker runs at a low voltage, so it does not carry the shock risk of a mains appliance. Never use it while it is plugged in to charge, never charge it in the bathroom, and stop using it if the case swells or gets hot.
Can I use it in the bath?
Only if the seller confirms an IPX7 rating or better, and even then keep it on the edge of the bath rather than in the water. Without a rating, a drop into the bath can kill it.
Can I connect two WaterBOOM 360 speakers together?
The page does not mention stereo pairing or linking two speakers. Some speakers of this design do not support it. If you want stereo sound, ask support before buying a two-pack.
How long do cheap speakers last?
Owners of budget shower speakers often report a year or two of use before the battery fades or the port fails. Steam and water speed that up. Keeping the port dry and charging it out of the bathroom are the two habits that most extend its life.
Why does my speaker keep cutting out?
Bluetooth drops are usually about distance or obstacles. Walls, a closed door and even your body between the phone and the speaker weaken the signal. Move the phone closer, keep other Bluetooth devices from connecting, and check whether the speaker's battery is low.
Will it work with a TV or laptop?
Any device with Bluetooth audio can connect to it, including most laptops and many TVs. There can be a slight delay between picture and sound over Bluetooth, which matters for video more than music.
Frequently asked questions
Is WaterBOOM 360 waterproof?
The page calls it waterproof for showers and holidays but gives no IP rating, which is the standard test for water resistance. Sponsored pages claim it survives a metre of water for 30 minutes, an IPX7 level, but the offer page does not make that claim. Treat it as splash-resistant until the seller confirms a rating.
How long does WaterBOOM 360's battery last?
The offer page claims up to 6 hours of playback. Battery life falls at high volume, so expect less at full blast. That is short for a portable speaker: the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 is rated for 14 hours, and many budget speakers claim 10 hours or more.
How much does WaterBOOM 360 cost?
On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one speaker for $49, two for $69, three (two plus one free) for $98, four for $123 and five (three plus two free) for $135. The five-pack was flagged as the best seller. A suction cup costs $9 extra and a 3-year warranty $9.
Can WaterBOOM 360 take phone calls?
Yes, the page lists hands-free calls among its features. Like most small speakers, it uses a built-in microphone and a button to answer. Call quality on small speakers is usually fine in a quiet room and poor in a running shower, where the water noise drowns your voice.
Is WaterBOOM 360 better than JBL or Ultimate Ears?
No. Big-brand waterproof speakers such as the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 publish a tested IP67 rating, float, survive drops and last more than twice as long on a charge. They cost more, around $79.99 for the Wonderboom 4, but you get proven water resistance and better sound.
Does WaterBOOM 360 have a radio?
Not as standard. The checkout sells an FM radio upgrade for $4 and says to plug a disconnected USB cord into the port to act as an aerial. The upgrade is illustrated with a generic radio icon, so it is unclear what hardware changes.
Is WaterBOOM 360 legit?
It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are the missing water rating, the short battery life, the five-pack flagged as best seller and refund terms that leave return postage to you.
