Our verdict

Only if you are curious about grounding, accept the evidence is thin and can afford $99.95 for a sheet. Heal Naturally Grounding Sheets are organic cotton fitted sheets with silver thread and a cord to your outlet's ground port, from an Austin, Texas brand with free US shipping. But the page's claims about inflammation, cortisol and pain go far beyond the small studies behind grounding, its "10,000 user study" is unpublished, and the guarantee wording conflicts. Heal Naturally Grounding Sheets score 4.1 out of 10, held back by unsupported health claims and unclear terms.

The short version

  • A fitted sheet woven with silver thread, connected by a cord to the ground port of a three-prong outlet.
  • Five sizes, Twin to California King; the page shows grey sheets.
  • $99.95 for one, $199.90 for two and $299.85 for three on 3 October 2026, with free US shipping.
  • The brand claims better sleep, less pain, lower cortisol and less stress.
  • Independent sleep experts say the research is small and often funded by sellers.
  • The page promises a lifetime money-back guarantee, but its own checkout code and press coverage mention 30 days.
  • Best trait: a washable organic cotton sheet that is easy to set up.
  • Biggest drawback: health claims the evidence does not support.
  • Our score: 4.1 out of 10.

Pros & cons

Heal Naturally sells a real sheet from a real US company. The cons are about evidence, marketing and terms, not about whether the sheet will fit your bed.

What we like

  • A fitted sheet in five sizes from Twin to California King, made mainly of organic cotton, according to the brand
  • Machine washable, with a grounding cord that connects only to the outlet's ground port, according to the brand
  • Free US shipping and a lifetime replacement warranty on the offer page
  • Easy to try: put it on the bed, clip the cord on, plug it in
  • Many people simply like the idea of grounding and find it relaxing

What we don't

  • The health claims, from cutting inflammation to lowering cortisol, rest on small, mostly industry-linked studies
  • The page's "10,000 user study" with "100% improved physical function" is not published anywhere we could find
  • Guarantee wording conflicts: the page says lifetime money-back, while its own checkout code and press coverage point to 30 days
  • Fabric descriptions differ: 100% organic cotton with 5% silver on the page, 90% cotton and 10% silver for the matching pillowcase
  • $99.95 for one sheet is a lot for bedding, and the page does not say whether the cord has a safety resistor
  • Works only with a correctly grounded three-prong outlet, which many older homes lack

How it works

Grounding, also called earthing, is the idea that direct contact with the Earth's surface, such as walking barefoot on grass, lets your body exchange electrical charge with the ground. Grounding products try to bring that indoors by connecting you to the building's electrical ground.

  1. Fit the sheet

Step 1: Put the grounding sheet on your mattress like any fitted sheet. A grid of silver thread runs through the cotton, so skin touching any part of it is in contact with the conductive threads.

  2. Connect the cord

Step 2: Snap the cord onto the connector on the sheet and plug the other end into the ground port of a three-prong outlet. According to the brand, the plug connects only to the ground, not to live current.

  3. Sleep on it

Step 3: Your skin touches the silver threads, which link your body to the building's electrical ground. The brand says this lets your body release built-up charge, which it links to better sleep, less pain and less stress.

Two multimeter photos from Heal Naturally showing body voltage readings before and after touching a grounding sheet
The brand's body voltage demonstration. Image: Heal Naturally

In a modern home, the round third hole of a three-prong outlet connects through the wiring to a ground rod or other grounding system. A grounding sheet's plug uses only that hole. The silver threads in the sheet carry a tiny connection from your skin to that ground.

What the brand says happens

The page describes the body building up electrical charge from modern life, comparing it to appliances that overheat when they are not grounded. It says grounding releases that charge, neutralises free radicals, calms inflammation, lowers cortisol and resets your body clock.

What we can say for sure

When you lie on a grounded conductive sheet, your body is electrically connected to ground. That can be measured: the brand's own multimeter demonstration shows a small body voltage dropping to near zero. That voltage comes from nearby mains wiring and is normal in homes. What has not been shown in large, independent studies is that removing it improves health.

Why the appliance comparison does not hold

Appliances are grounded so that a fault sends current safely to earth instead of through a person. That is a safety feature, not something the appliance needs to work well. The human body does not overheat from a lack of grounding, and the page's comparison to "an appliance plugged into the wrong voltage" is a metaphor, not physiology.

Where grounding ideas come from

Modern grounding products trace back to the early 2000s, when a former cable television executive, Clinton Ober, began promoting earthing after experimenting with grounding himself while he slept. He later co-wrote a popular book on the subject and helped fund early studies. Since then, a small group of researchers has published most of the grounding literature, and a large market of sheets, mats, patches and shoes has grown around it.

Body voltage, explained simply

Electrical wiring in walls and cords creates weak electric fields. Your body, being slightly conductive, picks up a small induced voltage from them, which is what the multimeter in the brand's photo shows. Connecting yourself to ground drains that voltage to near zero. This is real and repeatable. The open question is whether that tiny voltage does anything to your health in the first place, and no large study has shown that it does.

Who it's for

Heal Naturally Grounding Sheets suit people who are curious about grounding, enjoy the idea of a nightly connection to the Earth and are happy to pay for a quality organic cotton sheet with that feature. If you would buy a $100 sheet anyway and like the idea, the downside is mostly the cost.

They do not suit anyone looking for a treatment. If you have chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety or high blood pressure, a doctor can help in ways a sheet cannot.

Why Heal Naturally appeals

Grounding taps into a real feeling: lying on grass or walking barefoot on a beach is relaxing for many people. A sheet that promises that feeling every night, with no effort, is attractive. The page adds organic cotton, free shipping, a lifetime warranty and testimonials from people who say they finally slept through the night.

The brand also has a story. Press coverage describes it as founded by a Navy veteran and based in Austin, Texas.

A typical first week

You put the sheet on like any fitted sheet, find the connector, clip the cord on and plug it into an outlet near the bed. Some owners on the page say they noticed nothing the first night or two; one describes a brief tingle early on; others report better sleep after a week or two. That pattern is also what you would expect from a placebo effect and from paying more attention to sleep, which is why controlled studies matter.

Who gets the most value

People who already use organic bedding, like trying wellness ideas and have a modern, grounded outlet beside the bed get the most from it. Even if grounding does nothing measurable, they get a soft, washable sheet.

Who gets the least

Anyone buying it to fix a medical problem, anyone in an older home without grounded outlets and anyone who sleeps in pyjamas that cover most of their skin will get the least. The sheet only connects where bare skin touches it.

As a gift

The page calls the sheet "great for gifting". A $100 sheet with strong health claims is a tricky present: the recipient needs a grounded outlet, the right mattress size and a willingness to try something unproven. If you buy one as a gift, check the size and the return window first, and avoid presenting it as a treatment for a health problem.

Couples and shared beds

A fitted sheet covers the whole mattress, so both sleepers lie on it. That is convenient if both are curious, and harmless if one is not. One cord grounds the whole sheet.

What it will not do

It will not treat inflammation, arthritis, high blood pressure, anxiety or insomnia. It will not shield you from electromagnetic fields in any meaningful way. It will not work if the outlet is not grounded.

  • Curious sleepers who want to try grounding and accept the evidence is thin
  • People who would buy organic cotton sheets anyway and like the idea of a grounding feature
  • Anyone who already enjoys barefoot time outdoors and wants a low-effort way to feel more connected at night

Who should skip it

  • Anyone hoping to treat chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia or high blood pressure; see a clinician instead
  • Homes with two-prong or uncertain wiring, unless an electrician confirms the outlet is grounded
  • People who take blood-thinning medication or have implanted electrical devices, without asking their doctor first
  • Budget buyers: $99.95 buys very good ordinary sheets

What do you get with Heal Naturally Grounding Sheets, and what do they cost?

The offer page shows a grey fitted sheet with a fine silver grid, a snap connector patch near one edge and a white cord with a grounding plug. Press coverage of the brand mentions a cord of about 15 to 16.5 feet; the page itself does not state a length.

The fabric question

The page says the sheet is made from "100% certified organic cotton" woven with 5% silver fibre. Those numbers cannot both be true of the finished fabric, since they add up to 105%. The matching pillowcase on the same page is described as 90% organic Egyptian cotton and 10% silver. The page does not name a certifier for the organic cotton.

What this means for you: expect a mainly cotton sheet with silver thread. If organic certification matters to you, ask which standard and certifier apply.

Heal Naturally price and bundles

On 3 October 2026 the Heal Naturally offer page (opens Heal Naturally in a new tab) listed:

BundlePricePer sheetRetail shown
1 sheet$99.95$99.95$199.90
2 sheets$199.90$99.95$399.80
3 sheets$299.85$99.95$599.70

All three showed free shipping. The per-sheet price is the same in every bundle, so the bundles save nothing except on the "retail" price, which is a reference price set by the seller.

An NBC News Select article updated in January 2026 listed the Heal Naturally sheet at $149.95 against a regular $299.99, so prices and sizes may vary by time and listing.

Add-ons offered

The page's checkout data includes a grounding pillowcase, a grounding blanket and a plug-in "Grounding Tester" for outlets. We did not see the add-on prices.

Is it good value?

As bedding, $99.95 is at the upper end for a single fitted sheet without a flat sheet or pillowcases. As a grounding product, it sits within the range of grounding sheets sold online, which vary widely in price and quality. Whether it is worth it comes down to how much you value a grounding feature that the evidence does not clearly support.

Cost per night

If a sheet lasts three years, $99.95 works out to roughly 9 cents a night. Spread over its life, the cost is modest; the question is whether that money would buy more comfort or better sleep spent elsewhere, such as on a full sheet set, a better pillow or blackout curtains.

Who makes it

Heal Naturally says it is based in Austin, Texas. Press releases describe it as founded by a Navy veteran and launched in 2025. Several of the "reviews" of the brand in search results are press releases or paid articles on wire services, which are written by or for the brand.

What does the research on grounding say?

The research on grounding is small and weak. The most cited studies, such as Ghaly and Teplitz in 2004, grounded about a dozen people for weeks without a control group and reported lower night-time cortisol and better sleep. The Sleep Foundation says these studies are small and that researchers themselves call for larger trials. Much of the work is linked to grounding advocates, and none proves these sheets help.

This is the heart of the review, because the page leans heavily on science.

The studies most often cited

  • Ghaly and Teplitz, 2004. This study grounded 12 people with sleep problems, pain and stress on a conductive mattress pad for eight weeks. Night-time cortisol fell and participants reported better sleep and less pain. There was no control group.
  • Inflammation reviews. Papers in the Journal of Inflammation Research, which the page mentions, review grounding and inflammation. They draw on small studies and thermal images, and several authors have links to the grounding industry.
  • A 2022 pilot. The Sleep Foundation summarises a small pilot in people with Alzheimer's disease using grounding mats for 30 minutes a day, which reported better sleep measures.

What independent experts say

The Sleep Foundation's overview says these studies are small and that researchers themselves call for larger trials. In NBC News Select's look at grounding sheets, sleep medicine specialist Dr. Chelsea Perry says there is "no legitimate science backing grounding sheets", noting small samples and industry funding.

Why the evidence is weak

  • Small samples. The best-known studies have 10 to 60 people. Health claims usually need hundreds.
  • Blinding is hard. People can sometimes tell whether they are grounded, and many studies did not use a convincing sham.
  • Industry links. Much of the research was funded or co-authored by people connected to companies that sell grounding products.
  • Soft outcomes. Many results are self-reported sleep, pain or mood scores, which are very sensitive to expectations.
  • Short follow-up. Most studies last days or weeks, so long-term effects, good or bad, are unknown.
  • Mixed products. Studies use different mats, patches and sheets, so results from one product do not automatically apply to another.

What a fair reading looks like

Grounding is not proven to do nothing; it is unproven. The early studies are interesting enough to justify better research, and some people clearly enjoy it. But "scientifically proven", "proven to reduce inflammation at the source" and "guaranteed to deliver results" go far beyond what the studies show.

The thermal image graphic

One of the page's images shows colourful thermal pictures labelled "before grounding" and "after grounding", with a scale from "highest inflammation" to "healthy". Thermal cameras show skin surface temperature, which changes with room temperature, clothing, blood flow and activity. A pair of thermal photos is not evidence that grounding reduced inflammation.

What better evidence would look like

A convincing trial would randomly assign a few hundred people to a working grounding sheet or an identical sheet with the cord secretly disconnected, measure sleep with wrist trackers or sleep studies, and run for months. Researchers would have no financial link to sellers, and the results would be published in full. Until studies like that exist, the honest answer to "does it work?" is "we do not know".

The placebo effect is real, and not nothing

Many people do feel better after starting a grounding sheet. Expectation, a new bedtime ritual, more attention to sleep and the natural ups and downs of symptoms all play a part. Feeling better is welcome, but it does not show that the sheet itself caused the change, and it is not a reason to pay for claims that go beyond the evidence.

Are Heal Naturally's claims true?

Mostly not. "Scientifically proven, safe and effective" is not supported, since grounding has only been studied in small, mostly industry-linked studies. We could not find the "10,000 user study" published anywhere, and a 100% improvement in physical function would be extraordinary. Claims about neutralising free radicals, calming inflammation and lowering cortisol rest on advocates' theory, not large human trials, and the lifetime guarantee wording conflicts with a 30-day value.

Heal Naturally marketing graphic of thermal images labelled before grounding and after grounding
A marketing graphic that implies thermal images show inflammation. Image: Heal Naturally

"Scientifically proven, safe and effective"

Not supported. Grounding has been studied, but only in small, mostly industry-linked studies. Safety depends on the cord and your wiring.

"10,000 user study": 93% better sleep, 84% less pain, 87% less stress, 100% improved physical function

We could not find this study published anywhere. A 100% result on any health measure across thousands of people would be extraordinary, and survey results from customers are not a clinical study.

"Neutralises free radicals" and "calms inflammation"

This idea comes from grounding advocates' theory that electrons from the Earth act like antioxidants. It has not been shown in large human trials.

"Lowers cortisol"

Based mainly on the 12-person 2004 study with no control group.

"Boosts circulation to speed natural healing"

Some small studies report changes in blood flow or blood viscosity, but none shows faster healing from sleeping on a grounding sheet.

"Fits any standard mattress"

It is sold in five standard sizes, so choose yours. The page does not list pocket depth, which matters for deep or topper-covered mattresses.

"Won't shrink or fade"

Plausible for a pre-washed cotton sheet, but cotton can shrink slightly. Follow the care label.

"Lifetime warranty: we'll gladly replace your sheets if needed, for life"

A strong promise for bedding. The page does not explain what counts as a defect, whether wear and tear is covered or how to claim.

"Mission-driven" and "real humans" support

Reasonable marketing language. We did not contact support, so we cannot comment on response times.

"As seen on CBS, NBC, ABC"

The brand appears in an NBC News Select shopping roundup, alongside a sleep expert who doubts the science. We did not find what the CBS and ABC references refer to.

Are Heal Naturally Grounding Sheets better than ordinary sheets or other sleep options?

For most people, no. A quality cotton sheet set with pillowcases often costs less than one $99.95 Heal Naturally fitted sheet and gives the same comfort. Cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia, a regular schedule and a cool, dark room have far stronger evidence for sleep. If you are set on grounding, compare fabric, a current-limiting resistor in the cord, return windows and published safety testing.

Heal Naturally vs ordinary premium sheets

If what you really want is a softer, cooler bed, a quality cotton sheet set with pillowcases often costs less than one Heal Naturally fitted sheet. Our Miracle Sheets review covers another silver-infused sheet sold on comfort and freshness rather than grounding.

Heal Naturally vs other grounding sheets

Many brands sell grounding sheets, mats and pillowcases. If you are set on grounding, compare fabric composition, whether the cord includes a current-limiting resistor, cord length, sizes, return window and whether a seller publishes electrical safety testing.

Heal Naturally vs going outside

Free grounding is available on any lawn or beach. Spending time outdoors in daylight also helps set your body clock, which has much stronger evidence behind it for sleep.

Heal Naturally vs a grounding mat

Grounding mats are smaller pads you put under your feet at a desk or on the bed. They are usually cheaper than a fitted sheet and easier to move. The same evidence questions apply.

Heal Naturally vs talking to a doctor

If poor sleep has lasted more than a few weeks, or you snore loudly, wake gasping or feel exhausted during the day, a doctor can check for conditions like sleep apnoea, thyroid problems or depression. Cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia is the recommended first treatment for chronic insomnia, and it is increasingly available online.

Heal Naturally vs other sleep gadgets

Our Dodow review looks at a light-guided breathing device for falling asleep, and our Sleep Connection wristband review covers an anti-snoring gadget with its own evidence problems. Are Heal Naturally Grounding Sheets legit, and what should you check before buying?

Heal Naturally says it is based in Austin, Texas, and offers free US shipping, but several brand "reviews" in search results are press releases or paid articles. Before buying, treat the sheet as bedding with an unproven extra, and never change medication because of it. Check that your bedside outlet is correctly grounded, ask a doctor if you take blood thinners, and confirm the real guarantee, which appears to be 30 days.

Health claims

The page makes strong claims about pain, inflammation, stress and sleep.

What to do: treat the sheet as bedding with an unproven extra. Do not stop or change any medication because of it, and talk to your doctor about persistent pain, anxiety, insomnia or blood pressure.

Medicines and medical devices

Some small grounding studies report changes in blood viscosity, and grounding companies themselves often suggest that people on blood thinners speak to a doctor.

What to do: if you take blood-thinning medication or have a pacemaker or other implanted device, ask your doctor before sleeping grounded.

Your outlet must be grounded

The sheet does nothing if the outlet's ground port is not connected to ground.

What to do: use a plug-in outlet tester, available at hardware stores, or the brand's own tester. If your home has two-prong outlets or the tester shows a fault, ask an electrician.

Electrical safety

A properly made grounding plug has no live pins. Problems come from poor adapters and faulty wiring. A UK government product safety report on another earthing sheet found its adapter posed a serious shock risk. Many grounding cords include a resistor to limit any current from a wiring fault; the Heal Naturally page does not say whether its cord has one.

What to do: ask support whether the cord includes a current-limiting resistor before you buy, use only the supplied cord, and never use travel adapters with exposed pins.

The guarantee

The page shows "lifetime money-back guarantee" and "100% risk-free", but the page's own checkout code sets a 30-day money-back value, and press coverage and NBC describe a 30-day trial.

What to do: email support before you buy and ask for the return window, who pays return shipping, and whether a washed sheet can be returned. Keep the reply.

Sizing

The page lists mattress sizes but not pocket depth.

What to do: measure your mattress depth, including any topper, and ask support for the pocket depth if your mattress is deep.

Care

Silver thread can be damaged or coated by some laundry products.

What to do: follow the care label; grounding sheet makers generally advise avoiding bleach and fabric softener.

Shipping

The page promises free shipping from US warehouses, and the offer platform's FAQ says orders ship within 24 to 48 hours and arrive in 3 to 5 business days on average.

What to do: keep the tracking email and check the sheet and cord as soon as they arrive.

Upsells at checkout

The page's checkout data includes add-ons such as a grounding pillowcase, blanket and outlet tester.

What to do: decide in advance what you want, and check your basket before paying so you do not end up with extras you did not plan to buy.

How to buy Heal Naturally Grounding Sheets the smart way

  1. Check your outlet is grounded, then choose your size on the Heal Naturally order page (opens Heal Naturally in a new tab).
  2. Buy one sheet first; bundles do not lower the price per sheet.
  3. Confirm the return window and the cord's resistor with support in writing.
  4. Check which add-ons are selected at checkout before paying.
  5. Keep your order confirmation and the packaging until you are sure.
  6. Try it for a few weeks, and keep a simple sleep diary so you can judge it honestly.

What do owners say, and how did we score Heal Naturally Grounding Sheets?

Heal Naturally Grounding Sheets score 4.1 out of 10: claim accuracy 0.3, build durability 1.1, price competitiveness 0.8, usability 1.3 and owner satisfaction 0.6, each out of 2. The offer page shows four five-star testimonials describing better sleep, less pain and calmer moods. Testimonials picked by a seller are the most positive accounts, and health outcomes like lower blood pressure need medical measurement, not reviews.

Reviews on the page

The offer page shows four testimonials, all five stars, from named verified buyers. They describe less back pain, no anxiety, better sleep after years of insomnia, less arthritis pain and lower blood pressure. One mentions a brief tingle on the first nights and finding the outlet tester helpful. Two testimonials appear twice in the carousel.

What the testimonials can and cannot tell you

Testimonials picked by a seller are the most positive accounts. Claims like lower blood pressure and the end of anxiety are health outcomes that need medical measurement, not reviews. They are not evidence the sheet caused the change.

What the reviews agree on

Across the testimonials, the common thread is better sleep after a few nights to a few weeks, and a sense of feeling calmer. Nobody on the page mentions the fabric, the fit or durability, which are the things a sheet buyer can actually judge.

The tingle

One owner describes a brief tingle on the first nights. Static from bedding is common and harmless. But a tingle from a grounded product can also point to a wiring fault, which is why it is worth unplugging the cord and testing the outlet if you ever feel one, and contacting the seller if it continues.

Independent reviews

We found no Trustpilot profile for Heal Naturally on 3 October 2026. Many search results styled as reviews are press releases. One review site we tried to read blocked access, so we have not relied on it.

What we would test with the sheet in hand

If we test it ourselves, we will check the fabric and fit on several mattress depths, measure the cord and test whether it has a resistor, check continuity from sheet to plug, wash it repeatedly to see whether conductivity holds, and track sleep with and without the cord connected. We will update this review with the results.

How we scored Heal Naturally Grounding Sheets

Every score on the site follows the five criteria on our how we test page.

CriterionScoreWhy
Claim accuracy0.3 / 2Health claims unsupported; unpublished "study"; misleading thermal graphic
Build durability1.1 / 2Cotton and silver thread, lifetime warranty; fabric details inconsistent
Price competitiveness0.8 / 2$99.95 for one fitted sheet; bundles save nothing per sheet
Usability1.3 / 2Simple to fit and plug in; needs a grounded outlet
Owner satisfaction0.6 / 2Seller-picked testimonials only; no independent ratings found
Total4.1 / 10

The score would rise with claims limited to what the evidence supports, consistent guarantee and fabric information, confirmation of a safety resistor, and independent owner reviews.

What we did, and did not, do

We read the offer page and its embedded product data, NBC News Select, the Sleep Foundation, the 2004 cortisol study on PubMed and a UK product safety report, all on 3 October 2026. Nobody on our team has slept on a Heal Naturally sheet, and no figures here come from our own testing.

How to use Heal Naturally Grounding Sheets for the best results

Test the outlet nearest your bed with a plug-in outlet tester, then wash the sheet before first use following the care label. Fit it with the connector at the side nearest the outlet, snap on the cord and route it so nobody trips. Sleep with bare skin touching the sheet, keep notes on your sleep, and try some weeks with the cord connected and some without.

Getting a fair trial

Sleep varies from night to night. Note bedtime, wake time, how rested you feel and anything else that changed, like caffeine, exercise or stress. If you want a fairer test, sleep some weeks with the cord connected and some without, and compare your notes.

Pairing it with habits that work

Keep a regular sleep schedule, a cool, dark room and a wind-down routine. These have solid evidence behind them and will do more for most people than any sheet.

Positioning the cord

Run the cord along the wall or under the bed frame, away from walkways, pets and children. Do not pinch it under bed legs or run it under a rug where it can be damaged. If the cord or connector is ever damaged, stop using it and ask for a replacement under the warranty.

When to stop

Stop using the sheet and unplug it if you notice repeated tingling, skin irritation, or any change in a medical condition that worries you. Contact your doctor about any health concern, and the seller about any product fault.

Choosing the right outlet

Use a wall outlet close to the bed rather than an extension lead or power strip, which may not carry a reliable ground. If the nearest outlet tests faulty, try another on a different wall before giving up, and tell an electrician about the faulty one, since a missing ground matters for your appliances too.

Washing and care

Wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Skip fabric softener and bleach. Dry on low heat or line dry. Check the connector after washing.

Checking the connection

If you own a multimeter, you can check continuity between the sheet's surface and the plug's ground pin. The brand's own demonstration uses a multimeter to show body voltage dropping when grounded.

Travelling

The plug is designed for North American three-prong outlets. Do not use cheap travel adapters, which can expose live pins.

What else do people ask about grounding sheets?

Most questions are about how grounding works. Earthing, or grounding, means making direct electrical contact with the Earth, by walking barefoot or using conductive products connected to ground. Grounding sheets mostly do not work through cotton pyjamas, so the sheet needs to touch bare skin. Keep electric blankets and grounding products apart, and follow both makers' instructions.

What is earthing?

Earthing, or grounding, is the practice of making direct electrical contact with the Earth, by walking barefoot or using conductive products connected to ground.

Do grounding sheets work through clothes?

Mostly not. Cotton pyjamas and socks block most of the contact. The sheet needs to touch bare skin.

Can I use a grounding sheet with an electric blanket?

Avoid it. Keep electrical bedding and grounding products apart, and follow both makers' instructions.

Will a grounding sheet raise my electricity bill?

No. The cord connects only to the ground, so no current flows from the outlet to power anything.

Can I put a mattress protector over the sheet?

The sheet needs to touch your skin, so put it on top. A mattress protector goes underneath, between the sheet and the mattress.

Do grounding sheets protect against EMF?

There is no good evidence that sleeping grounded protects against electromagnetic fields from household devices.

Are grounding sheets safe for children?

The brand does not give guidance for children. Given the weak evidence and the cord, there is little reason to use one for a child.

Can I use a grounding sheet during a thunderstorm?

Some grounding sellers advise unplugging during electrical storms as a precaution. It costs nothing to do so.

Do I need a flat sheet too?

The Heal Naturally sheet is fitted. You will still need your own flat sheet or duvet cover on top, and an ordinary pillowcase unless you buy the matching grounding one.

Can I use a grounding sheet without an outlet?

Some sellers offer ground rods that go into soil outside. The Heal Naturally page shows only the outlet connection.

How long before grounding works?

The page's testimonials describe changes after a few nights to a few weeks. There is no reliable evidence on timing because there is no reliable evidence of effect for most claims.

Is Heal Naturally legit?

It is a real US company that ships a real product. The issue is not whether you will get a sheet, but whether its health claims and guarantee wording hold up.

Is Heal Naturally worth it?

For someone curious about grounding who wants a quality organic cotton sheet and can afford $99.95, it is a reasonable experiment, as long as you confirm the return window first. For anyone hoping to treat a health condition, no.

Frequently asked questions

What are Heal Naturally Grounding Sheets?

They are fitted sheets made mainly of organic cotton with a grid of silver thread, sold by an Austin, Texas brand. A cord connects the sheet to the ground port of a wall outlet, which the brand says lets your body connect to the Earth's charge while you sleep.

How much do Heal Naturally Grounding Sheets cost?

On 3 October 2026 the offer page listed one sheet at $99.95, two at $199.90 and three at $299.85, each shown as half the retail price, with free US shipping. Sizes run from Twin to California King. Check your mattress size before ordering.

Do grounding sheets really work?

The evidence is limited. A handful of small studies, many linked to companies that sell grounding products, report better sleep and lower stress markers. Sleep specialists quoted by NBC News say the science is not there yet. No large, independent trials show grounding sheets treat any condition.

Are grounding sheets safe?

A well-made grounding sheet connects only to the outlet's ground, not to live current. The risks come from faulty outlets, poor adapters and cords without a current-limiting resistor. Check your outlet with a plug-in tester, and if you are unsure about your wiring, ask an electrician.

What is the Heal Naturally guarantee?

The offer page says lifetime money-back guarantee and lifetime warranty, but the page's own checkout code and several press articles refer to a 30-day money-back guarantee. Ask support to confirm the return window in writing before you buy.

Can I wash a grounding sheet?

Yes. The brand says the sheet is machine washable and will not shrink or fade. Grounding sheet makers generally advise mild detergent and no fabric softener or bleach, which can coat or damage the silver threads. Wash before first use.

Does my outlet need to be grounded?

Yes. The sheet works only if the outlet's ground port is actually connected to ground. Older homes with two-prong outlets, or three-prong outlets added without a ground wire, will not work. An inexpensive outlet tester will tell you.

Will a grounding sheet help with pain or anxiety?

We cannot say it will. Some small studies report people feeling less pain and stress, but they are too small and too often unblinded to rely on. If you live with chronic pain or anxiety, talk to a doctor; a sheet is not a treatment.
