Our verdict
Yes, if you want one pillow you can adjust and you do not mind fluffing it. The Sleepgram gives you soft, medium and firm from two removable microfibre inserts, a cotton cover you can wash, and a 100-day return window.
Back, stomach and average-weight side sleepers are well served. It scores 7.4 out of 10, the highest of the sleep products we cover, because it is simple, comfortable and fairly priced; the score is held back by fibre that flattens within a year or two and by marketing claims that go beyond the evidence. Buy the two-pack only if you need two pillows; otherwise a single from the main store costs less.
The short version
- A 3-in-1 adjustable pillow: one cotton outer pillow and two microfibre inserts, blue for soft and red for medium.
- $49.99 each in a two-pack ($99.98) on the offer page our link opens; $64.99 for a single Queen on sleepgram.com.
- Best trait: you can change the height in a minute, which suits combination sleepers and couples.
- Biggest drawback: the fill compresses over time and needs regular fluffing.
- Our score: 7.4 out of 10, with the lowest mark for durability.
Pros & cons
The Sleepgram does one thing well: it lets you set the height. That solves the most common pillow problem, a pillow that is too high or too low for how you sleep. The trade-off is the fill, which is soft and forgiving but not long-lasting.
What we like
- Three firmness settings from two inserts, so one pillow suits back, stomach and most side sleepers
- Polyester microfibre fill feels like down but suits people with down allergies
- Cotton cover is easy to remove and machine wash
- 100-day return window that accepts like-new pillows, plus a lifetime replacement promise
- Owners rate it 4.2 out of 5 from 435 Trustpilot reviews
What we don't
- Microfibre flattens over time; testers put its useful life at around a year with regular fluffing
- Heavier side sleepers may find even the firm setting compresses too far
- The offer page our link opens sells two-packs only, from $99.98
- One hands-on tester found heat built up overnight, despite the cooling claims
- Marketing claims such as 'eliminates dust mites' and 'doctor recommended' come without evidence

How it works
There is no foam, gel or clever material here. The pillow works by stacking.
One cover, two inserts
Step 1: The outer cotton pillow unzips to reveal two inner pillows, one with a blue tag and one with a red tag; the blue insert is thinner and the red is thicker, both filled with polyester microfibre.
Build your firmness
Step 2: Blue insert alone for soft, red alone for medium, both together for firm; a 2-inch gusset around the edge keeps the height even from the centre to the sides.
Fibre conforms, then needs fluffing
Step 3: Because the fill is fibre rather than foam, the pillow shapes around your head and springs back when fluffed, which is why it works across positions and why it slowly flattens if you never fluff it.
Who it's for
The Sleepgram suits you if you sleep in more than one position, share a bed with someone who likes a different height, or simply do not know what pillow height you need. It is also a good choice if you like the squashable feel of down but are allergic to it. Average-weight side sleepers do well on the firm setting; back and stomach sleepers have two softer options to choose from.
- Combination sleepers who change position during the night
- Couples who want the same pillow but different firmness
- Anyone allergic to down who wants a soft, squashable feel
- People who are not sure what height they need and want to experiment
Who should skip it
- Side sleepers over about 230 pounds who need a pillow that will not compress
- Anyone who wants to set a pillow once and never fluff it
- Very hot sleepers who need a gel or ventilated foam pillow
Why do people like the Sleepgram pillow?
Most pillows are a guess. You choose a firmness in a shop or online, sleep on it for a week, and find out it is too high or too low. The Sleepgram takes the guess out: unzip the cover, swap an insert, and you have a different pillow the same night. Testers recommend giving it a few weeks to try each combination, and the 100-day window leaves time to do that.
It is also easy to live with. The cover unzips from both sides, so swapping inserts takes seconds, and the cotton shell goes in the washing machine with your sheets. The fill is polyester microfibre, a down alternative, so it suits people who react to feathers and does not have the chemical smell some foam pillows give off when new.
The design suits couples too. Two Sleepgrams can be set differently, one firm for a side sleeper and one soft for a stomach sleeper, without buying two different models. That is part of why the offer page sells them in pairs.
And it is fairly priced for what it does. Adjustable pillows from bigger brands often cost more per pillow than a Sleepgram does in a two-pack.

How much does the Sleepgram cost, and what do you get?
The Sleepgram offer page sold pairs only on 3 October 2026: two Standard/Queen pillows for $99.98 or two Kings for $129.98, with four- and six-packs at $44.99 each, and free shipping over $100. Sleepgram's main store sold a single Standard/Queen for $64.99. Each pillow has an outer pillow and two removable microfibre inserts, a cotton cover, a 100-day return window and a lifetime warranty.
Each Sleepgram is three pillows in one: the outer pillow with a 2-inch gusset, and two inner pillows tagged blue (thin) and red (thicker). The images below are Sleepgram's own.
| Spec | Sleepgram pillow, as sold on 3 October 2026 |
|---|---|
| Construction | Outer pillow plus two removable inner pillows |
| Settings | Soft (blue), medium (red), firm (both) |
| Fill | Siliconised polyester microfibre, down alternative |
| Cover | Cotton (the order page says 100% long-staple cotton) |
| Sizes | Standard/Queen 18 x 26 in; King 18 x 33 in; 2-inch gusset |
| Care | Brand FAQ: remove inserts and wash the cover with linens |
| Returns | 100 calendar days; unused or like-new condition |
| Warranty | "Lifetime"; replacement if the pillow gives out |
The offer page our link opens sells pillows in packs of two, four or six:
| Pack | Standard/Queen each | Queen total | King each | King total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 pillows | $49.99 | $99.98 | $64.99 | $129.98 |
| 4 pillows | $44.99 | $179.96 | $59.99 | $239.96 |
| 6 pillows | $44.99 | $269.94 | $59.99 | $359.94 |
Shipping is free on orders over $100, so a Queen two-pack at $99.98 falls just short. The main sleepgram.com store sells a single Standard/Queen at $64.99 and a single King at $74.99.
How to buy the Sleepgram the smart way
- Decide whether you need one pillow or two. For one, the main store's single is cheaper than half a two-pack plus shipping.
- For two or more, open the Sleepgram offer page (opens Sleepgram in a new tab) and pick the pack and size.
- Choose King only if your pillowcases are king-size; Standard/Queen fits standard cases.
- Check the total for shipping before paying, then save the order email as proof of purchase.
- Keep the pillows clean and the tags on while you test them, so they stay returnable.
Which Sleepgram setting suits how you sleep?
Use the blue insert alone for stomach sleeping, or the outer pillow with no insert if your neck still bends back. Back sleepers should start with the red insert alone. Side sleepers need the most height, so use both inserts, though heavier testers found it compressed by morning. Combination sleepers usually settle on the red insert as a middle ground.

Soft: blue insert only

Medium: red insert only

Firm: both inserts
Pillow height should keep your head in line with your spine. That depends on your position and, for side sleepers, on how broad your shoulders are.
Stomach sleepers need the lowest pillow. Use the blue insert alone, or the outer pillow with no insert if your neck still bends back.
Back sleepers need moderate support under the neck. Start with the red insert alone. If your chin tips toward your chest, swap to the blue.
Side sleepers need the most height to fill the gap between shoulder and ear. Use both inserts. Average-weight testers found this comfortable; heavier testers found it compressed by morning, and one 2021 reviewer found the pillow went flat enough to make an ear sore.
Combination sleepers usually settle on medium, the red insert, as a middle ground. If you start on your side and end on your back, try firm for a week, then medium for a week, and keep the one you wake up better from.
Our sleep category covers other ways to improve the bed itself, but height is the change most likely to fix a stiff neck.
How does the Sleepgram sleep, and how long does it last?
The Sleepgram feels soft and squashable, closer to down than memory foam. Testers disagree on heat: Mattress Clarity found it very breathable, while Mattress Nerd's tester noticed heat building overnight. Lifespan is the weak point, because microfibre compresses with nightly use; Mattress Clarity put its useful life at about a year with regular fluffing, and Trustpilot owners report pillows losing support over time.
The feel is soft and squashable, closer to a down pillow than to memory foam. Your head sinks in, and the pillow reshapes when you turn.
Heat is where testers disagree. Mattress Clarity found it very breathable, thanks to the cotton cover and loose fibre fill. Mattress Nerd's tester noticed heat building up overnight and scored it 3 out of 5 for cooling.
Both can be true: fibre breathes better than solid foam, but a thick stack of two inserts holds some warmth. If you sleep hot, pair it with breathable bedding such as a cotton set like the Miracle Made sheets; a silk case such as Blissy feels cool at first but does not breathe like cotton, and we compare the two upgrades in Sleepgram vs Blissy.
Lifespan is the weak point. Microfibre compresses with nightly use, and Mattress Clarity put the Sleepgram's useful life at about a year with regular fluffing and dryer cycles. Owners on Trustpilot echo that: the most common serious complaint is pillows that lost their support after extended use. Sleepgram's "lifetime warranty" says that if the pillow gives out, it will be replaced, no questions asked, but the order page does not publish conditions and testers found the details vague. Keep your order email in case you need it.

Is the Sleepgram legit, and what should you check before buying?
Sleepgram is a real brand with mostly positive owners, but the page our link opens is an advertorial styled as an article. It sells pairs only, so if you want one pillow, the main store's $64.99 single is cheaper. Returns within 100 days need the pillow unused or like new, with tags, proof of purchase and a return number. Claims like "eliminates dust mites" are marketing.
None of these rule the Sleepgram out. Each one changes how you should buy it.
The page our link opens is an advertorial. It is styled like an article, "5 Reasons You Should Replace Your Pillow", dated 2022, with "reader results" quotes and a "limited stock" note. It leads to the real order page, which is where the facts in this review come from.
The offer sells pairs. There is no single pillow on the offer page. If you only want one, the main store's single at $64.99 is the better buy.
Returns depend on condition. The order page promises a 100-night guarantee. The written terms say 100 calendar days from purchase, with the pillow unused or in like-new, donatable condition; stained, damaged or incomplete pillows, including ones with missing tags, are refused. You need proof of purchase and a return number before sending anything back, and the page does not say who pays return postage. Use a pillowcase from night one.
Care instructions differ. The brand FAQ says to wash the cover and keep the inserts out; some reviewers wash and dry everything. Follow the tag on your pillow.
Some claims are marketing. "Eliminates dust mites", "doctor recommended", "promotes spine health" and "wake up with cleaner skin" come without evidence. A washable cover helps with hygiene; it does not eliminate dust mites, and the inserts are not washed under the brand's own instructions.
What do owners and other reviewers say about the Sleepgram?
Owners are mostly positive. On 3 October 2026, Sleepgram's Trustpilot score was 4.2 out of 5 from 435 reviews, with 62 percent five-star and 24 percent one-star; praise centres on comfort, quality and adjustability, and complaints on pillows losing support and delivery problems. Hands-on reviewers rate it well too: Mattress Clarity tested it with average-weight and heavyweight sleepers and scored it 4.3 out of 5.
Owners are mostly positive. The Trustpilot profile for sleepgram.com showed 4.2 out of 5 from 435 reviews on 3 October 2026, with 62 percent five-star and 24 percent one-star. The praise centres on comfort, quality and being able to adjust the pillow. The complaints centre on pillows losing their support after extended use, and on delivery delays and wrong addresses. Trustpilot noted that Sleepgram had not replied to negative reviews.
The top-ranking reviews are stronger than for most products we cover, because several are hands-on. Mattress Clarity tested it with an average-weight and a heavyweight sleeper and scored it 4.3 out of 5. Mattress Nerd scored it 3.8, with full marks for back and stomach sleeping and 3.5 for side sleeping. A 2021 tester at The Gadgeteer liked the soft blue setting best but found the pillow flattened. One first-person review claims Sleepgram is made in the USA; nothing on Sleepgram's own pages says so.
How we researched this review
Nobody on our team has slept on a Sleepgram yet, and this review does not claim otherwise; the hands-on findings above belong to the reviewers named. Every score on the site follows the five criteria on our how we test page. For this review we read the offer, order and package pages our link opens, the sleepgram.com store, the Trustpilot profile and the six Sleepgram reviews that ranked highest in search, all on 3 October 2026.
Is the Sleepgram better than a shredded foam or solid foam pillow?
It depends on what you need. The Sleepgram wins for people who want a soft, down-like pillow they can change, at $49.99 in a pair or $64.99 single, lasting about one to two years. Shredded memory foam pillows, at about $50 to $80, suit heavier side sleepers who need height that stays put. Solid foam or latex lasts longer if you already know your ideal height.
| Option | How you adjust it | Feel | Typical price per pillow | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sleepgram | Swap two inserts | Soft, down-like | $49.99 in a pair, $64.99 single | About 1 to 2 years |
| Shredded memory foam pillow | Remove loose fill | Supportive, mouldable | About $50 to $80 | Longer; foam holds up better |
| Single-insert adjustable (fibre) | Remove one insert | Soft | About $60 to $70 | Similar to Sleepgram |
| Solid memory foam or latex | Not adjustable | Firm, springy | About $40 to $100 | Longest |
The Sleepgram wins for people who want a soft, down-like pillow they can change. Shredded foam wins for heavier side sleepers who need height that stays put.
A solid foam or latex pillow wins on lifespan if you already know your ideal height; we put the Sleepgram against one, the contoured Derila Ergo, in Sleepgram vs Derila Ergo. The pillow ranks first in our best sleep products guide because it is the upgrade most likely to fix a morning neck ache. If snoring rather than comfort is the issue, sleeping on your side helps, and a mouthpiece like SleepZee tackles the cause; if falling asleep is the issue, our Primal Sleep review covers what a supplement can do. For sleeping upright on a plane, our ErgoRelax review covers an inflatable pillow you lean forward onto.
How to use the Sleepgram pillow for the best results
Unpack the Sleepgram and let it loft for a few hours, then fluff each insert before the first night. Start with the setting for your main position: blue for stomach, red for back and both for side. Give each setting at least three nights before judging it, use a pillowcase from night one to keep the cover returnable, and fluff it regularly.

- Fluff the inserts every morning by squeezing them from the ends toward the middle.
- Wash the cover with your sheets, and refresh the inserts in a dryer on low with dryer balls if your care tag allows it.
- Note the date you bought it. When it feels flat even after fluffing, use the warranty or replace the inserts.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Sleepgram pillow worth it?
Yes for most sleepers who want to adjust height and like a soft, down-like feel, especially at the offer price of $49.99 each in a two-pack. It is less worth it for heavier side sleepers, who may find it compresses too far, and for anyone who wants a pillow that keeps its shape for years without fluffing.
What are the Sleepgram pillow settings?
Three. The outer pillow with the blue-tagged insert is soft, for stomach and back sleepers; with the red-tagged insert it is medium, for back and side sleepers; and with both inserts it is firm, for side sleepers. Some owners also use the outer pillow alone for an even lower profile.
Is the Sleepgram good for side sleepers?
For average-weight side sleepers, yes, on the firm setting with both inserts, which keeps the neck level with the spine. Heavier side sleepers, roughly over 230 pounds, report the fill compressing by morning, and one tester found the pillow went flat enough to make an ear sore. They may prefer shredded foam.
Can I wash the Sleepgram pillow?
The brand's FAQ says to unzip the cover, remove the inner pillows, zip the cover closed and wash it with your linens. Some reviewers also machine wash and tumble dry the inserts, but follow the care tag on your pillow. Drying on low with dryer balls helps the fibre regain its loft.
Does the Sleepgram pillow sleep hot?
Usually not, but it is not a cooling pillow. Mattress Clarity found it very breathable, while Mattress Nerd's tester noticed heat building up overnight and scored it 3 out of 5 for cooling. A cotton cover and fibre fill breathe better than solid memory foam, but there is no gel or cooling material.
What is the Sleepgram return policy?
The order page offers a 100-night guarantee. Its written terms give 100 calendar days from purchase and require the pillow to be unused or in like-new, donatable condition, with no stains or missing parts or tags. You need proof of purchase and a return number from customer support before sending it back.
How long does a Sleepgram pillow last?
Around one to two years of nightly use before the fill feels noticeably flatter, based on tester and owner reports, and sooner if you never fluff it. That is typical for microfibre. Sleepgram's lifetime warranty promises a replacement if the pillow gives out, but the page does not publish the warranty's conditions.
