Quick answer

Fine for baths and getting ready, risky as "completely waterproof". ShowerTime Max is a stick-on wall case that holds your phone behind a clear touch-through cover, so you can watch videos without a wet shelf.

Our verdict

Fine for baths and getting ready, risky as "completely waterproof". ShowerTime Max is a stick-on wall case that holds your phone behind a clear touch-through cover, so you can watch videos without a wet shelf. That is a nice convenience. But the page gives no waterproof rating, steam can still reach the phone, and Apple advises keeping iPhones out of showers altogether. The stronger adhesive and a sound vent are add-ons, and similar boxes cost much less. ShowerTime Max scores 3.6 out of 10, held back by price and its waterproof claim.

The short version

  • What it is: a wall-mounted phone case with a touch-through front for the bathroom.
  • Price: $49 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $135 flagged as the best seller.
  • Best trait: a phone at eye level in the bathroom, away from puddles.
  • Biggest drawback: no waterproof rating, steam risk, and add-ons for adhesive and sound.
  • Our score: 3.6 out of 10.

Pros & cons

Shower phone boxes are a popular, simple accessory. The pros reflect the convenience. The cons are about the waterproof claim, the add-ons and the price.

What we like

  • Holds a phone on the wall at eye level, with no drilling
  • A clear touch-through cover lets you scroll and tap without opening it
  • Keeps direct splashes off the phone better than a shelf
  • Hooks underneath can carry light items, per the page's images
  • The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number

What we don't

  • 'Completely waterproof' has no rating; steam can still condense inside a closed box
  • Apple advises against exposing iPhones to showers and steam rooms, and liquid damage is not covered by warranty
  • The stronger adhesive and the sound vent are $4 and $9 add-ons
  • No maximum phone size is given, despite 'all smartphone sizes'
  • At $49, it costs several times similar shower phone boxes at large retailers
  • Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works

ShowerTime Max is a shallow plastic box with a clear front cover. An adhesive pad on the back sticks it to a smooth bathroom wall. You open the front, drop your phone into the tray and close it. The cover is thin enough for touchscreen taps and swipes. Buttons and hooks underneath appear in the images.

Touch-through use of the case. Image: ShowerTime
  1. Stick it to a smooth wall

Step 1: Clean and dry a smooth tile, glass or mirror, peel the backing and press the adhesive pad firmly, then wait before loading it.

  2. Put your phone inside

Step 2: Open the front, place the phone in the tray and close the clear cover.

  3. Use it through the cover

Step 3: Tap and swipe through the cover to play music or videos while the case keeps splashes off.

The page title calls it a "waterproof shower phone holder", "smartphone holder in the shower", "touchscreen allowing shower phone holder" and "new waterproof shower time smartphone holder". The six bullets promise a "punch-free" attachment, "touch-through technology for precise touchscreen", "completely waterproof and safe for all smartphones", a clear, anti-fog cover, attachment "to all shiny surfaces in the bathroom", and compatibility with "all smartphone sizes".

What the page leaves out

There is no IP rating, inside dimensions, weight limit for the hooks, or adhesive type. The main photo shows small buttons along the bottom edge, which the page does not explain.

Touch-through covers

Thin plastic lets capacitive touchscreens work, though wet fingers and fogging make taps less precise. Face unlock may not work through the cover.

Who it's for

ShowerTime Max suits people who watch videos or listen to podcasts in the bath or while getting ready, and renters who cannot drill. It is a poor fit for phones whose makers advise against showers and steam, for textured walls, and for very large phones until the size is confirmed. Our WaterBOOM 360 review covers a waterproof speaker if sound is what you are after.

  • People who watch videos or listen to podcasts in the bath or while getting ready
  • Renters who want a wall mount without drilling
  • Anyone who props their phone on a wet shelf and wants something safer

Bath-time viewers

A phone at eye level on the wall beats balancing it on the tub edge.

Getting ready

Recipes, news or videos while shaving or doing makeup, away from the sink.

Renters

Adhesive mounting avoids drilling tiles.

Who should skip it

Skip ShowerTime Max if your phone maker advises against showers and steam, if your walls are textured or painted, or if you have a very large or folding phone and cannot confirm the fit.

  • Anyone whose phone maker advises against showers and steam, including iPhone owners
  • People with textured, painted or rough walls where adhesive will not hold
  • Owners of very large phones until the seller confirms the size

Is ShowerTime Max really waterproof enough for your phone?

It keeps splashes off, but "completely waterproof" is unproven, and steam is the bigger risk. The page gives no IP rating or test. A closed box in a hot shower can still let humid air in, where it condenses on a cooler phone. Apple advises avoiding showers and steam rooms with iPhones, and says liquid damage is not covered by warranty.

What Apple says

Apple's support page on iPhone water resistance advises avoiding high-velocity water such as showering, saunas and steam rooms, and exposure to soap and lotions. It also says water resistance decreases with wear and that liquid damage is not covered under warranty.

What this means for you: use the case for baths and getting ready, not long hot showers.

"Clear-view and anti-fog properties"

No coating or test is named. Fogging on the cover is a common complaint with shower boxes.

"Safe for all smartphones"

Phones differ in water resistance. Older phones and those with worn seals are most at risk from humidity.

What to do: keep the bathroom ventilated and take the phone out promptly afterwards.

Charging

Never charge a phone in the bathroom from a mains socket or extension lead.

How much does ShowerTime Max cost, and are the add-ons needed?

On 6 October 2026, one ShowerTime Max cost $49, with the five-pack at $135 flagged as the best seller. The checkout offered an extra-strength adhesive for $4, a "playback valve" sound vent for $9, a USB car adapter for $4 and a 3-year warranty for $9. Similar shower phone boxes sell for much less at large retailers.

Extra stick

For $4, "enhanced sticker attachment for tougher resistance and longevity". The image shows the case holding two large water bottles from hooks under the heading "strong bearing capacity". If the standard adhesive needs upgrading for a phone to stay up, this should be standard.

Playback valve

For $9, "improved audio output from the hermetic protection". The image shows a round valve on the back labelled "anti drenching sound hole". Sound from a closed box is muffled, so this may help, though any opening is a path for water.

Car adapter and warranty

A $4 USB car adapter has nothing to do with a wall case; skip it. A 3-year warranty for $9 is optional.

Who sells it

The order page names G Com Pte Ltd at 137 Market Street in Singapore, with the email support@g63com.com and a phone number. The footer gives the country as Hong Kong. The page code says charges appear on your card statement as Matrixfze.

Is ShowerTime Max better than a cheaper shower phone box or a speaker?

No. Similar wall-mounted shower phone boxes sell widely for much less, often listing their inside dimensions. If you mainly want music, a small waterproof Bluetooth speaker keeps the phone outside the bathroom entirely. A waterproof pouch is the cheapest option for occasional use.

Same design, lower price and listed sizes. That is where a rival wins.

Is ShowerTime Max legit, and what should you check before buying?

ShowerTime Max is a real product from a named seller, and a case should arrive if you order. Before buying, ask for the inside dimensions, check your wall surface, switch from the five-pack, consider the adhesive upgrade and note the card statement name.

Ask for the size

What to do: email support@g63com.com and ask for the maximum phone length, width and thickness, and whether a case can stay on. Keep the reply.

Check your wall

What to do: test that your tile or glass is smooth; adhesive will not hold well on grout lines or textured paint.

Check the selected bundle

The five-pack for $135 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one case.

Card statement name and memberships

The charge appears as Matrixfze. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.

Refunds and returns

The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost. Once stuck to a wall, the adhesive may not be reusable.

How to buy ShowerTime Max the smart way

  1. Ask support for the inside dimensions.
  2. Open the ShowerTime Max order page (opens G Com Pte Ltd in a new tab) and select your country.
  3. Change the five-pack to one case.
  4. Consider the $4 adhesive; skip the car adapter.
  5. Note the card statement name, Matrixfze.

What owners say

We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for ShowerTime Max by that name. Owners of similar shower phone boxes on large retail sites tend to like having their phone on the wall, and complain about fogging, muffled sound, adhesive that lets go after a few weeks and large phones that do not fit.

What we did, and did not, do

Nobody on our team has used ShowerTime Max. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with Apple's water resistance guidance and the pages that rank for ShowerTime Max. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.

How to use ShowerTime Max without risking your phone

Mount it on smooth, clean, dry tile away from the direct spray, wait a day before loading it, and use it for baths, music and getting ready rather than long hot showers. Ventilate the bathroom, take the phone out promptly, and wipe any condensation off the phone and case.

  1. Clean and dry the wall. Alcohol wipe, then dry.
  2. Mount away from the spray. Not in the direct stream.
  3. Press firmly and wait. A day before loading it.
  4. Close the cover fully. Check the seal each time.
  5. Ventilate the room. Fan on or window open.
  6. Take the phone out promptly. Do not leave it in steam.
  7. Wipe away condensation. Inside the case too.

Removing it

Warm the adhesive with a hairdryer on low and peel slowly to avoid damaging tiles.

Cleaning

Wipe the cover with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that scratch the clear front.

What else do people ask about shower phone holders?

Most questions are about Face ID, steam and kids' videos at bath time. Face unlock may struggle through the cover, steam is the main risk, and a tablet stand outside the splash zone suits children's bath time. Browse our phone accessory reviews and our best phone accessories guide for more.

Does Face ID work through it?

Often not reliably. Unlock before closing the cover.

Can I take calls?

Yes, on speaker, though sound is muffled.

Can it hold a tablet?

The page is about smartphones. Tablets are unlikely to fit.

Does it work on a mirror?

Smooth mirrors are fine for adhesion. Check it does not block the view.

Frequently asked questions

Is ShowerTime Max waterproof?

The page says completely waterproof, but gives no IP rating or test. The front closes over the phone, which keeps splashes off. Steam can still get in and condense, so do not rely on it to protect a phone in a hot, steamy shower.

How much does ShowerTime Max cost?

On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one ShowerTime Max for $49, two for $69, three (two plus one free) for $98, four for $123 and five (three plus two free) for $135, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. Extra adhesive cost $4, a playback valve $9 and a 3-year warranty $9.

Can I use my iPhone in the shower in it?

Apple's support page advises avoiding exposing iPhones to showers and steam rooms, and says liquid damage is not covered under warranty. A case reduces splashes but not steam. Using it for baths or while getting ready is lower risk.

Will it stick to my wall?

The page says it attaches to all shiny surfaces. Adhesive pads hold best on smooth, clean, dry tile, glass or mirror. Textured, painted or grouted surfaces may not hold, and the stronger adhesive is a $4 add-on.

Does sound come through the case?

Muffled sound is the main complaint about closed phone boxes. The checkout sells a $9 'playback valve', a sound hole on the back, to improve audio. A small waterproof Bluetooth speaker is another option.

What size phones fit?

The page says it fits all smartphone sizes but gives no inside dimensions. Ask the seller for the maximum phone length and width, especially for large or folding phones.

Is ShowerTime Max legit?

It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are the unrated waterproof claim, adhesive and sound vent sold extra, no size details, the price and return postage at your cost.

We may earn a commission if you buy through our links.
