Vacuum suction phone mount

Quick answer

A strong mount for smooth dashboards and MagSafe phones; check both before buying. VacHold Pro has a rechargeable vacuum pump base, judging by the photos' USB-C port and button, that sucks onto glass or glossy plastic, topped with a round magnetic pad on a ball joint.

Our verdict

A strong mount for smooth dashboards and MagSafe phones; check both before buying. VacHold Pro has a rechargeable vacuum pump base, judging by the photos' USB-C port and button, that sucks onto glass or glossy plastic, topped with a round magnetic pad on a ball joint. That combination can hold firmly and comes off cleanly. But the page never mentions the magnet, so phones without MagSafe will need a metal ring, suction fails on textured dashboards, and no battery or holding force is stated. VacHold Pro scores 3.7 out of 10, held back by missing details and price.

The short version

  • What it is: a vacuum-suction car phone mount with a swivelling magnetic pad.
  • Price: $59 for one on 6 October 2026, with a five-pack for $149 flagged as the best seller.
  • Best trait: strong, removable grip on smooth surfaces.
  • Biggest drawback: needs MagSafe or a metal ring, and a smooth surface.
  • Our score: 3.7 out of 10.

Pros & cons

The pros come from a strong, removable design. The cons come from what the page leaves out.

What we like

  • Vacuum pump base can grip smooth dashboards and glass firmly
  • Swivelling ball joint for portrait or landscape
  • Removable, so it moves between cars without adhesive
  • Compact design with a USB-C port, according to the photos
  • The seller names a registered company with an address, email and phone number

What we don't

  • The photos show a round magnetic pad, which needs a MagSafe phone or a metal ring; the page does not say
  • Suction struggles on textured or curved dashboards
  • No battery, holding force or temperature range stated
  • Cross-sells unrelated gadgets at checkout
  • Simple magnetic mounts cost much less
  • Return postage to an overseas seller is yours to pay

How it works

The base has a soft suction cup and, according to the photos, a small electric pump with a button and USB-C charging port. Press the button and the pump draws air from under the cup, creating a vacuum that clamps it to the surface. A ball joint links the base to a round magnetic pad, which holds a MagSafe phone or a phone fitted with a metal ring.

The mount as shown on the offer page. Image: VacHold Pro
  1. Charge the base

Step 1: Charge the pump base through its USB-C port.

  2. Place and pump

Step 2: Set it on a clean, smooth, flat surface and press the button; the pump draws air out to create suction.

  3. Attach your phone

Step 3: Stick a MagSafe phone, or a phone with a metal ring, to the magnetic pad and angle it.

The page title calls it a "Vacuum Pump Phone Holder", "Car Phone Mount With Vacuum Pump", "Strong Grip Vacuum Phone Holder" and "Anti-Slip Vacuum Phone Holder". The six bullets promise a rock-solid grip on rough roads, quick setup, wide compatibility, 360-degree rotation, durability against daily use and weather, and a firm hold on dashboards or windshields.

What the page leaves out

Magnet strength, MagSafe compatibility, battery life, how long suction lasts, temperature range and phone weight limit.

Who it's for

VacHold Pro suits drivers with smooth dashboards, MagSafe iPhone owners and people who move mounts between cars. It is cross-sold with the shower case in our ShowerTime Max review.

  • Drivers with smooth dashboards who want a strong, removable mount
  • iPhone owners with MagSafe, or anyone willing to add a metal ring
  • People who move a mount between cars

Smooth dashboards and glass

The vacuum seal needs a flat, smooth surface.

MagSafe phones

Snap on, snap off.

Several cars

No adhesive to peel off.

Who should skip it

Skip VacHold Pro if your dashboard is textured or curved, if your case is thick or non-magnetic and you do not want a ring, or if you want the cheapest working mount.

  • Drivers with textured or curved dashboards
  • Anyone with a thick or non-magnetic case who does not want a ring
  • Buyers who want the cheapest working mount

Will VacHold Pro hold your phone, and where can you legally mount it?

On smooth surfaces with a magnetic phone, probably; placement depends on local law. Vacuum mounts lose grip on textured, soft or curved dashboards and in extreme heat. Hands-free laws also restrict windshield mounting: California, for example, allows windshield mounts only in specific lower corners, or on the dashboard or console without blocking the view, with single-tap use while driving.

California's rules, as an example

CBS Sacramento's guide to California's hands-free law explains the permitted windshield corners and the single swipe or tap rule.

What to do: check your state's rules and mount it where it does not block your view.

"Fits Most Smartphones"

Only if they are magnetic or fitted with a metal ring, based on the photos.

"Withstands Daily Use And Weather"

No temperature range is given; hot cars can weaken suction.

How much does VacHold Pro cost, and are the cross-sells worth it?

On 6 October 2026, one VacHold Pro cost $59, with the five-pack at $149 flagged as the best seller. Instead of accessories, the checkout cross-sold ShowerTime Max for $19, DusterX Pro for $29 and a car USB charger adapter for $4, plus a 3-year warranty for $5. Simple magnetic vent mounts are widely sold for much less.

Is VacHold Pro better than a vent clip or an adhesive dashboard mount?

It is more flexible than an adhesive mount and pricier than a vent clip. Vent clips are cheap and easy but can block airflow and sag with heavy phones. Adhesive dashboard mounts are very secure but hard to move. VacHold Pro sits in between, if your dashboard is smooth.

Is VacHold Pro legit, and what should you check before buying?

VacHold Pro is a real mount from a named seller, and it should arrive if you order. Before buying, confirm it is magnetic and whether a metal ring is included, check your dashboard surface, switch from the five-pack and note the card statement name.

Ask about magnets and rings

What to do: email support@g63com.com and ask whether the pad is magnetic, whether a metal ring is included, the battery life and the phone weight limit. Keep the reply.

Check the selected bundle

The five-pack for $149 is flagged as the best seller in the page code. What to do: change the order to one mount per car.

Card statement name and memberships

The charge appears as panameedia. Pages on this checkout have also carried text for a "Gadget Discount Club" membership that is free for 30 days and then billed. What to do: read every checkbox and post-payment page.

Refunds and returns

The page code offers a 30-day guarantee for a full refund or replacement, less shipping and handling. The terms we recorded on 4 October 2026 focus on defective goods, which can be returned within two years once you have a returns number, with return postage at your cost.

What owners say

We found no Trustpilot profile for the gadgetxaura.com store and no retailer reviews for VacHold Pro by that name. Owners of similar electric suction mounts like the grip on smooth surfaces and easy removal, and complain about losing suction on textured dashboards and in hot weather.

What we did, and did not, do

Nobody on our team has used VacHold Pro. We read the offer page our link opens and its page code on 6 October 2026, along with a guide to California's hands-free law and the pages that rank for VacHold Pro. The refund and returns terms are as we recorded them from the site's terms page on 4 October 2026.

How to use VacHold Pro for a secure hold

Clean the surface, mount it on a smooth flat spot that does not block your view, and pump it down before attaching your phone. Add a metal ring if your phone is not magnetic, recheck suction in hot weather, and adjust only when parked.

  1. Clean and dry the surface. Dust breaks the seal.
  2. Smooth and flat. Glass or glossy plastic.
  3. Legal placement. Out of your line of sight.
  4. Pump it down. Then tug gently to test.
  5. Add a metal ring. If your phone is not MagSafe.
  6. Recheck in heat. Suction weakens when hot.
  7. Adjust when parked. Not while driving.

Charging the base

Top it up regularly; the page gives no battery life.

Removing it

Release the vacuum, as the instructions describe, rather than pulling it off.

What else do people ask about suction phone mounts?

Most questions are about textured dashboards, heavy phones and heat. Textured surfaces need an adhesive disc, heavy phones need strong magnets, and heat weakens suction. Browse our phone accessory reviews for more.

Can I use it on a textured dashboard?

Many suction mounts come with an adhesive disc for this; ask the seller.

Will it hold a large phone?

Depends on magnet strength, which is not stated.

Can I use it at home?

Yes, on a smooth desk or table.

Does it work with a case?

Only if the case is MagSafe-compatible or has a metal ring.

Frequently asked questions

How much does VacHold Pro cost?

On 6 October 2026, the offer page listed one VacHold Pro for $59, two for $89, three (two plus one free) for $109, four for $129 and five (three plus two free) for $149, with the five-pack flagged as the best seller. A ShowerTime Max cost $19, a DusterX Pro $29 and a 3-year warranty $5.

Is VacHold Pro magnetic?

The photos show a round magnetic pad, typical of MagSafe-style mounts, though the page only talks about a vacuum pump. Phones without MagSafe usually need a metal ring or plate stuck to the case.

Will it stick to my dashboard?

Vacuum suction works best on smooth, flat, clean surfaces like glass or glossy plastic. Textured, soft-touch or curved dashboards can break the seal.

Can I mount it on the windshield?

Laws vary. California, for example, allows phones on the windshield only in the lower corner farthest from the driver or the lower corner nearest the driver outside the airbag zone, or on the dashboard or console without blocking the view. Check your state's rules.

Does it need charging?

The photos show a USB-C port and a button on the base, suggesting an electric pump. The page does not give battery life.

Does it charge my phone?

The page does not mention wireless charging. Assume it does not.

Is VacHold Pro legit?

It is a real product sold by G Com Pte Ltd, which lists a Singapore address, email and phone number. The concerns are the unmentioned magnetic requirement, no specs, unrelated cross-sells and return postage at your cost.

We may earn a commission if you buy through our links.

Prices accurate as of October 6, 2026. Check the seller's checkout for current pricing, promotions and terms.

What we checked: No hands-on use.
