Our verdict
Only if you want a small, cable-free top-up for a phone, earbuds or controller and value convenience over capacity. Rush Charge Universe's built-in Lightning, USB-C and Micro-USB tips mean no cables, and it can charge three devices at once. But retailer listings put the battery at about 3,300 mAh, its 2.4A output is ordinary, "world's fastest and most powerful" is not true, owners report fiddly connections, and Rush Charge's own store charged less. It scores 4.9 out of 10, held back by claims and value.
The short version
- A small power bank with fold-out Lightning, USB-C and Micro-USB tips.
- Charges up to three devices at once; pass-through charging.
- $49.99 plus shipping on 4 October 2026; bundles from $34.99 each.
- Rush Charge's own store listed it at $39.99.
- About 3,300 mAh, according to retailer listings; the offer page does not say.
- 2.4A output: standard, not fast, charging.
- Adds roughly half a charge to a large modern phone.
- Trustpilot: 3.7 from 187 reviews; 40% one-star.
- 60-day money-back guarantee, according to the page.
- Best trait: no cables to forget.
- Biggest drawback: small capacity sold as "most powerful".
- Our score: 4.9 out of 10.
Pros & cons
Rush Charge Universe is a convenient gadget with a real niche. The trouble is a marketing pitch that promises far more power and speed than its battery can deliver.

What we don't
- Retailer listings put the battery at about 3,300 mAh, small for a modern power bank
- 2.4A output is standard USB charging, not "the world's fastest"
- "Most powerful" and "26+ hours of power" are not supported by its capacity

How it works
Rush Charge Universe is a small, rounded square power bank with three short connectors that fold out from its edges: one Lightning, one USB-C and one Micro-USB. You plug a device directly onto a tip, and the battery inside charges it.
Plug it straight into your device
Step 1: Flip out the matching tip, Lightning, USB-C or Micro-USB, and plug Rush Charge Universe directly into your phone, earbuds case or other device.
Charge up to three at once
Step 2: Use the other tips to charge more devices at the same time. The battery's charge is shared between them.
Recharge it with any cable
Step 3: Recharge the Universe using a Lightning, USB-C or Micro-USB cable. Pass-through charging lets it charge your phone while it is plugged in.

Cable-free design
Most power banks need a cable between the bank and your phone. Universe's built-in tips remove that cable. The phone and charger become one unit you can hold, which is handy in a pocket or bag. The trade-off is that the tips are short and fixed, so cases can get in the way, and the charger sticks out from the bottom of the phone.
Holding the phone while it charges
With the charger attached to the bottom, the phone becomes taller and the weight shifts down. Some people find it comfortable to hold like this for calls and messages, as the images show; others find it awkward for typing. Resting the phone on a table while it charges is easiest.
Three tips
Lightning is used by older iPhones and some accessories. USB-C is used by newer iPhones, most Android phones, many earbuds and tablets. Micro-USB is used by older Android phones and some cheap accessories. Having all three means one charger can serve a mixed household.
Charging speed
The FAQ says 2.4A charging. At 5 volts, that is about 12 watts, the standard speed of many USB-A chargers. Modern phones can charge at 20 watts or more with USB-C Power Delivery. So Universe charges at a normal speed, not a fast one, and when charging three devices at once, the power is shared.
What "fast charging" means today
Phone makers now use standards such as USB Power Delivery, which raise voltage to deliver 20 to 45 watts or more to compatible phones. These can take a phone from empty to about half full in roughly 30 minutes. A 2.4A USB output, at about 12 watts, takes longer. It is perfectly adequate for a top-up, but describing it as the world's fastest is not accurate by current standards.
Battery capacity
The offer page does not state the battery's capacity. Retailer listings describe it as about 3,300 mAh. After conversion losses, a 3,300 mAh power bank usually delivers around 8 watt-hours to a phone. A large modern phone battery holds roughly 15 to 19 watt-hours, so Universe might add around half a charge. A smaller phone or earbuds case will get a larger share.
The weight figure
The FAQ gives a weight of about 7.5 ounces. That is heavier than most 3,300 mAh banks, which often weigh a few ounces. We could not reconcile the two figures; check the box when it arrives.
Understanding mAh and watt-hours
Power bank capacity is usually given in milliamp-hours (mAh) at the battery's internal voltage of about 3.7 volts. Phones are charged at 5 volts or more, and converting voltage wastes energy as heat. That is why a 3,300 mAh bank does not put 3,300 mAh into a phone with a 3,300 mAh battery. Watt-hours (Wh), which multiply capacity by voltage, give a fairer comparison: about 12 Wh stored, of which roughly 8 Wh reaches your device.
Why the bank empties faster with three devices
Charging three devices at once does not create more energy; it splits the same battery three ways. If you charge a phone, earbuds and a controller together, each gets a share of the roughly 8 Wh available. For a phone in serious need, it is better to charge it alone.
Pass-through charging
Pass-through means the bank can charge your phone while it is itself being charged from the wall. That is handy overnight or in a hotel with one socket, because you can plug the bank in and have both full by morning. Pass-through can make the bank warm, so keep it somewhere ventilated rather than under a pillow.
Who it's for
Rush Charge Universe suits people who want a small, cable-free top-up, people who often forget cables, and households with a mix of Lightning, USB-C and Micro-USB devices. It suits light users who need a bit of extra charge to get through the evening.

It is less suited to anyone who needs a full charge or more on the go, travellers on long trips, and people who only have USB-C devices and could buy a larger, cheaper power bank.
Common reasons people buy it
From the testimonials and marketing, buyers usually want one of a few things: to stop carrying cables, to give the whole family one charger that fits everything, to keep a phone alive for the evening, or a colourful gift. The first and third are what Universe does best, within its capacity.
Gamers with controllers
Some game controllers use USB-C or Micro-USB and can run out mid-session. A small bank plugged into a controller can keep it going without a long cable to the console. Check that the tip fits the controller's port and that the charger does not get in the way of your grip.
Teenagers and students
Teenagers and students often run their phones flat by afternoon and forget cables. A small, bright charger that plugs straight in suits them, and the colours make it easy to spot in a school bag. Explain that it adds about half a charge, so it is a top-up, not a full refill.
Older relatives
For older relatives who find cables fiddly, plugging a charger straight onto the phone is simpler. Show them which tip fits their phone and how to recharge the bank.
Why Rush Charge appeals
Cables are the most annoying part of power banks: they tangle, go missing and break. A charger that plugs straight into your phone solves that. The bright colours make it easy to find in a bag and appealing as a gift. And being able to charge your phone, earbuds and a friend's phone at once sounds generous.
It is also something you can keep in a handbag or coat permanently because it is small. The best power bank is the one you actually have with you, and a compact, cable-free charger is more likely to be there when you need it than a heavier bank and a cable you left at home.
A typical day
In the afternoon, your phone drops to 30%. You flip out the right tip, plug in Universe and keep using your phone. By early evening, it has gained a useful amount of charge, enough to get you home. Universe itself is now nearly empty, so you recharge it overnight. One owner describes charging an iPhone 14 Pro Max from 50% to 100% in about an hour while working online, which is consistent with a small bank delivering most of its charge.
A typical trip
On a weekend away, Universe tops up your phone on the train and your earbuds in the hotel. On the second day, you recharge it overnight alongside your phone using the same cable. It is convenient for light use, but if you rely on your phone for maps, photos and tickets all day, you may find yourself wishing for more capacity by mid-afternoon.
Earbuds and accessories
For earbuds cases, smartwatches with compatible chargers, game controllers and small speakers, Universe's capacity goes further, as these have smaller batteries. One owner plans to buy a USB adapter to charge a watch.
As a gift
At around $40 to $50, in several colours, it is an easy gift. Its convenience is real; just set expectations about capacity.
Commuters
For a daily commute, a small top-up is often all you need. Universe fits in a jacket pocket and can add charge during the journey. Heavy users who stream video on long commutes will drain it quickly.
Festivals and day trips
At festivals, theme parks and long days out, phones die fast from photos and maps. A small bank helps, but its capacity means you may still run low by evening. For multi-day events, a larger bank is better.

Rush Charge price and bundles
On 4 October 2026 the Rush Charge Universe offer page (opens Rush Charge in a new tab) listed:
| Package | Price | Per unit | Shipping |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $49.99 (shown against $79.99) | $49.99 | Extra |
| 3 | $119.99 | $39.99 | Extra |
| 5 | $184.99 | $36.99 | Free |
| 10 | $349.99 | $34.99 | Free |
The checkout button was set to the five-pack. Rush Charge's own store listed the Universe at $39.99 for one, and a designer collaboration version at $120. Retailers have listed it too.
Is it good value?
A 10,000 mAh power bank with USB-C fast charging often costs less than $49.99 and holds roughly three times the energy. You would need a cable, though. Universe's value is the cable-free, multi-tip convenience. At $39.99 from the brand's own store, that convenience is easier to justify than at $49.99 plus shipping.
The bundle pricing
The offer page pushes multi-packs, with the checkout set to five units. Five chargers at $36.99 each only makes sense for a family or office. For most people, one is plenty. The three-pack also adds shipping, which reduces its value further.
Cost per charge
If you use it most days and it lasts a couple of years, the cost per top-up is small. But a larger, cheaper bank would give more charge for the same money, so the premium is for convenience alone.
Extended protection plans
Rush Charge's own store offers extended protection plans from a third party. These add cost and are rarely worth it for an inexpensive accessory. Check what is covered by the standard guarantee and any retailer warranty first.
What the colours tell you
The range of colours and a designer collaboration suggest Rush Charge positions Universe partly as a fashion accessory and gift. That is fine, but it can mean paying for style rather than capacity. If capacity is your priority, a plain, larger bank is better value.
Who makes it
Rush Charge sells through its own store and retailers, and has offered designer collaborations. The page describes the Universe as patented.

Does Rush Charge Universe work, according to owners?
It works as a convenient, cable-free top-up, but owners are split. On 4 October 2026, Trustpilot showed 3.7 from 187 reviews, with 50% five-star and 40% one-star. Owners praise convenience, compact size and charging several devices without cables; complaints focus on touchy tip connections, small capacity and slow recharging. Expect roughly half a charge for a large modern phone.
Trustpilot
On 4 October 2026, the Trustpilot profile for rushcharge.com showed 3.7 out of 5 from 187 reviews: 50% five-star, 3% four-star, 2% three-star, 5% two-star and 40% one-star. Owners praise convenience, compact size and charging several devices without cables. Complaints mention short tips that require removing phone cases, touchy or unreliable connections, capacity that falls short of expectations, slow recharging of the unit itself, holiday delivery delays and shipping fees kept on refunds for defective units.
The testimonials on the page
The page shows four testimonials: an iPhone 14 Pro Max owner who charged from 50% to 100% in about an hour, a buyer who praises fast charging and quick recharging, a buyer who likes having no cords, and a traveller. They are selected by the seller.
What we would want to know from owners
Useful owner reviews would say which phone and case they use, how much charge Universe added from a full bank, how long it took, how reliable the tips were after months of use and how long the bank takes to recharge. Those details would help separate disappointment caused by marketing from genuine faults.
The split ratings
Half of reviewers are very happy and 40% very unhappy. That suggests the concept works for many, but connection reliability and capacity let others down.
Why connections can be touchy
Fixed tips need to align precisely with your phone's port. Cases, slight wear, dust and lint in the port, and the leverage of a charger hanging from the phone can all interrupt the connection. Cleaning the port gently, removing bulky cases and supporting the charger rather than letting it dangle reduce problems.
Capacity expectations
Many complaints about capacity likely stem from the gap between "world's most powerful" marketing and a small battery. Buyers expecting several full phone charges are disappointed. Buyers expecting a modest top-up are more often satisfied.
Why we score it where we do
Rush Charge Universe is a genuinely convenient idea: no cables, three tips, a small body you can carry anywhere. Its score is low mainly because the marketing promises the opposite of what a small battery can deliver, calling it the world's fastest and most powerful charger and promising 26 hours of power, while not stating its capacity. Add connection complaints, a 40% one-star share on Trustpilot and a higher price than its own store, and the value is hard to recommend at the offer page price. Honest specifications and a price matching its own store would lift the score.
Who will be happiest with it
Light users who want a small emergency top-up and who hate cables are most likely to be pleased. If you already carry a 10,000 mAh bank and a cable without complaint, Universe offers little extra.
Realistic expectations
Expect a convenient top-up of roughly half a large phone battery, or more for smaller devices, at standard speed, without cables.
Are Rush Charge's claims true?
Rush Charge's headline claims are not supported. "The world's fastest and most powerful 3-in-1 charger" does not fit a 2.4A output, which is standard USB speed, or a battery of about 3,300 mAh. "26+ hours of power" is unclear, since that capacity cannot supply 26 hours of phone use. "Charges any device you own" ignores devices with other connectors, such as many smartwatches.
"The world's fastest and most powerful 3-in-1 charger"
Not supported. 2.4A is standard speed, and about 3,300 mAh is a small capacity.
"Long-lasting: 26+ hours of power"
Unclear and unsupported. The FAQ calls it "extended battery life", but a 3,300 mAh battery cannot supply 26 hours of phone use on its own.
"Charges any device you own"
Overstated. It covers Lightning, USB-C and Micro-USB devices. Devices with other connectors, such as many smartwatches, need adapters.
"It's the only charger you'll ever need"
Overstated. Its small capacity means many people will still need a larger bank or wall charger.
"TSA-approved"
Misleading. The TSA does not approve products. Small power banks are allowed in carry-on luggage.
"Over 5 million units sold"
Unverifiable.
"Patented wire-free design"
Plausible; no patent number is given.

Is Rush Charge Universe better than a standard power bank?
Usually not on value. A standard 10,000 mAh power bank holds about three times the energy and often charges faster, for similar or less money, though you carry a cable. Power banks with a short built-in cable combine cable-free convenience with larger capacity and less strain on your phone's port. Rush Charge Universe suits people who mainly want small, cable-free top-ups for several device types.
| Option | Typical cost | Capacity | Cable-free | Fast charging |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rush Charge Universe | $39.99 to $49.99 | About 3,300 mAh | Yes, three tips | No |
| 10,000 mAh USB-C power bank | Often less | 10,000 mAh | No | Often yes |
| Power bank with built-in cable | Varies | 5,000 to 10,000 mAh | Built-in cable | Varies |
| Magnetic wireless power bank | Varies | 5,000 to 10,000 mAh | Yes (compatible phones) | Moderate |
Rush Charge vs a standard power bank
A standard 10,000 mAh bank holds about three times the energy and often charges faster, for similar or less money. You carry a cable. If capacity matters, it wins.
Rush Charge vs a power bank with a built-in cable
Some power banks have a short built-in cable, combining cable-free convenience with larger capacity and less strain on your phone's port.
Rush Charge vs a car charger
If you mainly need charge while driving, a car charger is cheaper and gives unlimited power while the engine runs. A power bank is for when you are away from both the car and the wall.
Rush Charge vs a wall charger in your bag
If you are usually near sockets, a small fast wall charger and a cable charge a phone far quicker and cost less. A power bank is only essential when you are away from power for hours.
When Universe is the right choice
Universe makes most sense when you value convenience and multiple tips above capacity: a household with a mix of older and newer devices, someone who always forgets cables, or a light user who only needs a small top-up. In those cases, its small size and built-in tips are genuine advantages.
Rush Charge vs a phone case with a battery
Battery cases add capacity permanently to your phone. They are bulkier but always attached. They suit heavy users with one phone model; Universe suits mixed devices.
Rush Charge vs a magnetic wireless power bank
For phones with magnetic wireless charging, magnetic power banks snap onto the back, leaving the charging port free. They charge more slowly but are very convenient.
Rush Charge vs other gadgets we have reviewed

Is Rush Charge legit, and what should you check before buying?
Rush Charge Universe is a real product with a 60-day money-back guarantee, but its Trustpilot score is 3.7 with 40% one-star, and the offer page lists no capacity or safety certifications. Before buying, compare the price with Rush Charge's own store, which listed it for less, check that your phone case leaves room around the port, and expect about half a charge for a large phone.
Capacity
What to do: expect roughly half a charge for a large phone. Carry a bigger bank for long days or trips.
Watts and safety marks
What to do: look for safety certification marks on the device or packaging, and buy from a seller with a clear returns process. The offer page does not list certifications.
Phone cases
What to do: check whether your case leaves enough room around the charging port. Owners report needing to remove cases.
Port strain
A charger hanging from your phone's port puts leverage on the connector.
What to do: avoid using your phone heavily while it is attached, and do not let it dangle in a pocket where it can be knocked.
Price
What to do: compare the offer page with Rush Charge's own store and retailers.
Children
What to do: keep chargers away from young children who might chew them, and do not let children sleep with devices charging next to them.
Flying
What to do: pack it in your carry-on, not checked luggage.
Returns
What to do: test all three tips on arrival, and keep your confirmation for the 60-day guarantee.
Delivery around holidays
Trustpilot reviewers mention delivery delays around holiday periods.
What to do: if it is a gift, order well ahead of the date and check the tracking.
Lightning versus USB-C iPhones
Apple moved iPhones from Lightning to USB-C starting with the iPhone 15. If your household is moving to USB-C, the Lightning tip will become less useful over time.
What to do: consider which devices you will own in a year or two, not just today.
Shipping costs
The single and three-pack options add shipping on the offer page, while the five- and ten-packs ship free.
What to do: compare the total, including shipping, with the brand's own store and retailers before buying.
Heat
What to do: do not leave it charging devices in direct sun or a hot car. Stop using it if it swells, smells or becomes very hot.

How to use Rush Charge Universe for the best results
Top Rush Charge Universe up fully before first use, even though it arrives pre-charged. Plug the right tip in straight and gently, without forcing or twisting, and remove thick phone cases if the tip cannot reach the port. Use it for top-ups, such as 30% to 60%, rather than full charges, and remember that charging several devices at once shares the power and empties it faster.

Charging three devices

The three built-in tips

Charging earbuds
- Charge it fully first. Even though it arrives pre-charged, top it up.
- Use the right tip gently. Plug in straight; do not force or twist.
- Remove thick cases if needed.
- Charge before you are empty. Topping up from 30% to 60% is a good use of a small bank.
- Charge small devices too. Earbuds and controllers go further on its capacity.
- Recharge it overnight. Use any cable you have.
- Store it in a pocket away from keys. Protect the tips.
Charging more than one device
When charging several devices, the power is shared, so each charges more slowly and the bank empties faster.
Using it while gaming or streaming
Gaming and video streaming drain phones fastest. With a small bank, you may only gain a little charge while doing these. Pause heavy use while charging if you need the most from the bank.
Keeping it topped up
Small banks are most useful when they are full when you need them. Make recharging part of your evening routine, alongside your phone, so it is always ready in the morning.
Pass-through use
Pass-through lets you charge your phone and the bank at once from the wall, useful overnight in hotels.
Storage between uses
Fold the tips in, keep the bank in a pocket or pouch away from coins and keys, and recharge it every month or two if you are not using it, so the battery does not fully drain.
Cleaning the tips and ports
Lint and dust in your phone's port can stop the tip seating properly. Power off the phone and gently clear the port with a wooden toothpick or a soft brush. Keep the charger's tips clean too.

What else do people ask about power banks?
Most questions are about capacity and speed. A 3,300 mAh power bank gives roughly half of a large modern phone's battery, or a full charge for a small phone, after conversion losses. An output of 2.4A is about 12 watts, while modern fast chargers deliver 20 watts or more. Small power banks are allowed in carry-on luggage, not checked bags, and reputable ones are safe for phones.
How much charge will a 3,300 mAh power bank give?
Roughly half of a large modern phone battery, or a full charge for a small phone, after conversion losses.
What does 2.4A mean?
It is the maximum current from the output, about 12 watts at 5 volts. Modern fast chargers deliver 20 watts or more.
Can power banks damage my phone?
Reputable power banks are safe. Avoid cheap, uncertified ones, and do not leave devices dangling from ports.
Can I take a power bank on a plane?
Yes, in carry-on luggage, within airline watt-hour limits. Small banks like this are well under typical limits.
Do I need Lightning or USB-C?
iPhone 15 and later use USB-C; older iPhones use Lightning. Most Android phones use USB-C.
What size power bank do I need?
For a top-up during the day, 5,000 mAh is often enough. For a full phone charge or two, 10,000 mAh is a common choice. For tablets, laptops or multi-day trips, 20,000 mAh or more.
How long does it take to recharge the Rush Charge itself?
The page does not say. Some Trustpilot reviewers describe slow recharging. Overnight charging from a standard USB charger should fill a bank of this size comfortably.
Can it charge a tablet?
It can top up a tablet with a matching connector, but tablet batteries are much larger than a 3,300 mAh bank, so the gain will be small.
Does it work with Android phones?
Yes, through the USB-C tip for most modern Android phones and the Micro-USB tip for older models.
Can I charge my smartwatch?
Most smartwatches use proprietary magnetic chargers. One owner plans to use a USB adapter to connect their watch charger. Check whether your watch charger can plug into one of the tips with an adapter.
What happens when the battery is empty?
The LED display shows remaining charge. When it is empty, it stops charging your devices until you recharge it with a cable.
Is the Lightning tip still useful?
For iPhone 14 and earlier, AirPods cases with Lightning and older accessories, yes. For iPhone 15 and later, you will use the USB-C tip.
Can I use it with a MagSafe phone?
Yes, through the port, but it does not use magnetic wireless charging. If you prefer leaving the port free, a magnetic wireless power bank may suit you better.
Should I buy more than one?
Only if several people in the household need one. For a single person, one charger is enough, and a larger bank is a better second purchase than another small one.
Is a 3,300 mAh power bank worth buying in 2026?
It can be, if small size and convenience matter more than capacity, for example as a pocket emergency top-up. For most people who rely on their phones heavily, a 5,000 to 10,000 mAh bank gives more peace of mind for a similar price.
Why does the page not list the mAh?
We do not know. Most power bank makers list capacity prominently, because buyers compare it. Its absence, alongside "most powerful" claims, makes it harder for buyers to judge value. Retailer listings fill the gap.
What does "26+ hours of extended battery life" mean?
The page does not explain how it measured this. It may refer to extra use time for a low-power device, or combined use across several devices. It does not mean 26 hours of continuous phone use from a 3,300 mAh battery.
Will it charge my phone while I use it?
Yes, it will add charge while you use the phone, but heavy use such as video, games or navigation reduces how much charge is gained. For the biggest gain, leave the phone idle or locked while it charges.
What is the safest way to charge overnight?
Charge on a hard, non-flammable surface away from bedding, use a reputable wall charger and cable, and avoid charging anything that is damaged or swollen. Pass-through charging overnight is fine on a bedside table, not under a pillow or duvet.
How long will Rush Charge Universe last?
Lithium batteries typically keep most of their capacity for a few hundred full charge cycles before declining noticeably. Heavy daily use will wear it faster. The tips are mechanical and may loosen with frequent use, which is the failure some owners report.
What should I do if a tip stops connecting?
Check the phone's port for lint, try without the case and test the tip on another device. If the problem is with the charger, contact support within the guarantee period with a short description and photos.
Some Trustpilot reviewers say shipping fees were kept on refunds for faulty units, so ask about return costs before you send anything back, and keep the tracking number for the return parcel.
If the charger is faulty soon after delivery, mention that clearly, as defective items are usually treated differently from change-of-mind returns. Paying by credit card also gives you a fallback if a refund is refused unfairly or simply never arrives after the item has been returned to the seller as agreed, with full tracking details.
Are cable-free chargers bad for phone ports?
A charger plugged directly into a port acts as a lever if knocked, which can strain the connector over time. Use it while the phone rests on a surface or in a pocket where it will not be bent.
Why does my power bank give less charge than expected?
Conversion losses, heat, cable or tip resistance and using the phone while charging all reduce the charge delivered. Expect roughly two-thirds of the rated capacity to reach your device.
Is it bad to keep a power bank fully charged?
Lithium batteries last longest when not stored at 100% in heat for long periods. For a charger you use often, it does not matter much; for long storage, keep it around half charged.
Is Rush Charge legit?
Yes. It is a real product sold by retailers and its own store. Its marketing greatly overstates its power and speed.
Is Rush Charge Universe worth it?
As a small, cable-free top-up, especially from the brand's own store, it can be. As a main power bank, a larger, cheaper USB-C bank is better value.
Frequently asked questions
What is Rush Charge Universe?
It is a small portable charger with built-in Lightning, USB-C and Micro-USB tips. You plug it straight into your devices without cables and can charge up to three at once. Retailer listings put its battery at about 3,300 mAh.
How much does Rush Charge Universe cost?
On 4 October 2026 the offer page our link opens listed one at $49.99 plus shipping, three for $119.99 plus shipping, five for $184.99 and ten for $349.99 with free shipping. Rush Charge's own store listed the Universe at $39.99 the same day.
How big is the battery?
The offer page does not state its capacity. Retailer listings describe it as about 3,300 mAh, which typically adds roughly half a charge to a large modern phone. A standard 10,000 mAh power bank holds about three times as much energy.
How fast does it charge?
The FAQ says 2.4A output. That is standard USB charging, about 12 watts, slower than modern USB-C fast chargers. Charging several devices at once shares that power, so each charges more slowly. Use it for top-ups rather than full charges.
Will it work with my iPhone?
Older iPhones use Lightning and newer iPhones use USB-C; Universe has both tips. Some owners say the short tips require removing thick cases. Plug the tip in straight and gently, without twisting, so you do not strain your phone's charging port.
Can I take it on a plane?
Small power banks are allowed in carry-on luggage, not checked bags. The TSA does not "approve" specific products. Check your airline's rules for power banks before flying, especially on international trips, where battery rules can differ between carriers.
What do owners say?
Trustpilot showed 3.7 from 187 reviews on 4 October 2026, with half five-star and 40% one-star. Praise focuses on convenience and size; complaints focus on connection reliability, capacity and recharge speed. Check your case and phone port before relying on it.
What is the guarantee?
The offer page shows a 60-day money-back guarantee. Test every tip as soon as it arrives, and ask about return shipping costs before sending anything back, because some Trustpilot reviewers say shipping fees were kept on refunds. Pay by credit card and keep the tracking number for any return.
